Your Memory Will Always be Here

I love her.

I love her smile, her warm chocolate brown eyes, how kind she is, her everything. She is the girl that I am meant to spend the rest of my life with.

She is the something I live for. She is my life goal.

She's the one I want to marry, live together with, have kids with, and wake every morning with her by my side. She's my soul mate, no doubt about it.

And as I sit here waiting, I wonder if I will ever get to see her face again, hear her voice, hear her laugh, hold her hand, or see her smile. She was taken in about an hour ago. All the doctors will tell me is that they are trying.

***********************************************

I had been reading a book waiting for her to call when the phone rang. I picked it up.

"Hello?" I asked expecting it to be her calling.

"Mr. Malfoy?" the voice on the other line said. It was not her.

"Yes?" I swallowed.

"I am afraid I have some bad news. Your fiancé was involved in an accident."

***********************************************

They still have not told me what the accident was. To be truthful, I do not want to know.

Here I am waiting. Waiting to see if sh is okay. People have offered me comfort, but it does not help. The only thing to comfort me is someone telling me she is okay. Even Harry Potter, my mortal enemy, has pitied me.

I sit here, face resting on my hands my eyes staring straight ahead into the wall waiting for those words. The words that I have wanted to hear for the last hour. A door opened. I look up. A doctor walks over to my and says,

"You can see her now."

***********************************************

I walked into the room quietly. I watched her lay there, eyes closed and wonder is she is still alive. She looks so beautiful even though I know she is dieing.

"Hey," I said quietly. Her eyes open.

"Hi," she replies weakly. I kneel by her beside. I let out a shaky breath.

"Ginny, are you okay?" I whisper. She does not answer my question; she simply replies,

"I love you Draco."

"I love you too," I murmur. She looks at me sadly, and I know this will be the last time I will see those eyes open.

"Draco I-" Ginny's voice stopped. Her head fell slowly to my shoulder and her eyes close. I can feel tears coming to my eyes.

Ginny Weasley has left. I can only wonder what she wanted to tell me, for I figure there must be something.

I regret everything. I regret never having just sat down and talked to her. I regret not admitting my feelings for her until later. I regret everything.

I rest my head against hers and cry.

I loved you with all my heart Ginny Weasley, and I always will. Your memory will never leave me. Your memory will always be right here, in my heart.
