Finishing Touches

In her sixth year at Hogwarts, Ginny finds that things have changed beyond recognition. The war is still raging, many of her loved ones are dead, she finds herself and her independence in Draco, and she also begins to realize that she is changing to a hardened girl she does not recognize. When the war finally ends, no one will be the same, and even more of those closest to her will be gone. How do you deal with death and destruction in massive doses?

Ginny decides to spend the night in Draco's room, gets a small peek inside Hermione's thoughts, and has an un-nerving conversation with Draco.

Ginny decides not to go with everyone else to Harry's house for the Holidays; she wants to stay at Hogwarts with Draco instead. It's the best time she's had in ages, and she feels so much better.

Draco presents Ginny with a unique Christmas gift, and the afternoon is spent in the bathtub.

Ginny gets a most interesting gift from Ron, Students return from the Holidays, Harry decides to go for it

Ginny gets a good look at Draco's wound and recalls the not so conventional way she and Draco became friends

Chaos ensues at Hogwarts, and when it's all said and done, Ginny gets a double shot of very bad news.

Ginny moves in with Harry and tries unsuccessfully to adjust to a life without Draco.

Ginny goes to win back Draco.
