My side of the story.

Normal days don't come very often. It's almost scientifically proven that there has never been a normal day. So when Cedric Diggory showed up to school one evening after dark it seemed as though perfectly normal. Except for the fact that Cedric was dead.

It all started when Harry and Ron were out in the cemetery over the summer holidays. They had no reason for being out there, but Harry just felt like going to one.

He thought it was sad how some graves were unattended to, almost a feeling of hatred to the dead one's family. Every year since his fifth year at Hogwarts, Harry made it a duty to go to at least one cemetery a month and lay one flower on everyone's grave. He now felt a strong connection with the dead after Sirius' death.

It's not that Harry didn't feel for his parents' deaths anymore. It was more quite the contrary but the simple fact was that he wished to be among the dead.

Harry walked to all the graves in the cemetery. It was a small area and not many graves, but there were many trees in the area so it made walking and finding all the graves difficult. Ron was off walking somewhere wondering if Harry was losing his mind or not, when he tripped and fell on a tree stump.

Ron was bleeding really badly and the blood was getting all over the gravesite. Harry ran over to Ron to help him. He couldn't walk on his leg it looked almost broken from the fall. He was in so much pain he was on the verge of passing out.

Harry looked up as if asking for help when Ginny came running along. It was a good thing to because Ginny had taken Wizardry First Aid as an elective in fourth year.

She mended Ron in a second, but there was still blood all over the gravesite right below a big headstone that said: Cedric Diggory.

They returned to the house after a while talking and wondering why Ron was so clumsy. Harry hoped to hear from Hermione that day (she was in the USA with her parents). He had written to her a few days ago just telling her how life was going because she had asked him to if he ever felt down.

Ron and Ginny sat down on the kitchen counter talking about God knows what when the name Draco popped into dialogue.

"What were you saying about Draco?" asked Harry.

"Nothing, just how big of a prat he is," said Ron.

"Actually I was more or less thinking about how hot he is," said Ginny.

"That's disgusting," said Ron and Harry at the same time.

"Boys," she thought, "they'll never understand that no matter how big of a prat you are, if you're hot you're hot".

Hedwig all of a sudden flew in the window straight at Harry with a reply from Hermione. It said the same thing as always: keep you're spirits up.

"That's easy for her to say, she didn't just lose her godfather," thought Harry.

Harry wrote back to her telling about how Ron had fallen and got hurt bleeding all over Cedric Diggory's grave.

A few days later Hermione's reply came telling how she hoped it doesn't turn out like a book she read about people in Slavic countries believing that if blood is spilled on a grave that the person who is dead turns into a vampire, but that was a whole bunch of nonsense. It could never happen. Vampires were created originally and can't be reproduced ever, according to most of her books anyway.
