For a logical reason there's no story to "Prologue" from said album. Sorry.

First story. Twilight.

Across the night I saw your face,

You disappeared without a trace,

You brought me here but can you take me back again?

- Electric Light Orchestra, "Twilight".

We were sitting out in the open, just sitting next to each other, looking at the stars...

I was wondering, why it happens that way they write it in books - a guy meets a girl and they live happily ever after. By the way things look here at Hogwarts, I'd rather say that it happens down the "a guy meets a girl, they live happily a bit, but then he acts like the male git he is and the girl decides that girls are better", or maybe it's just me and my quirks.

Anyway, my relationship (if it is worthy of being called a relationship) with Padma is something else than just the common "we met, we fell in love, we're all fine now". It's a mutual enjoyment if you want.

I look into those eyes, and those look back into mine and a feeling runs through me. It's not the way it was with that git Draco Malfoy, or that child Ron Weasley. It is like you've been hit by a lightning bolt and liked it - the tension released, the feelings flowing...

We did not see a lot of each other until I accidentally bumped into her last winter... And now we're inseparable. Some say we're like sisters, some say we're more... Whenever they ask us about it, we just smile and refuse to answer. Well, nobody's asking what the relationship between Padma's sister, Parvati, and Lavender Brown is, now do they?

Speaking of Parvati, despite the things they say - twins being alike and things like that - it's all rubbish. She might look the same way, might talk the same way, but she just isn't my Padma. I don't really know what it is - maybe the same thing why they were sorted into different Houses, maybe?

But frankly, I couldn't care less. I have her, have her all to myself, and I am quite happy with it...

We stare into each other's eyes for a bit more, just until I feel a sudden urge to tell her.

"Padma, I... Er..."

I lower my eyes, as if in guilt or shame.

"Yes?" she asks. She smiles. I don't see it, but I sure do feel it. It's something in her voice, I suppose. I fight back with all the strength that I have and raise my eyes, once again looking into hers. She is, indeed, smiling.

"I... I love you, Padma."

"I love you too, Blaise," she replies as our lips meet.

Kissing her is different - I suppose kissing any girl is different from kissing a boy. Boys are harsh, they usually take what they deem theirs, that's all. It's different with a girl - they know it's not a hard-skinned boy on the other side of your lips, it's another girl, as sensitive as you, so it feels wonderful.

No hands, no anything, we don't do those things, we just kiss...

She runs her hands through my hair, pushing it away from my face...

Once the kiss is broken, we just sit there, hand-in-hand, and look at the stars...
