The Dursleys, Tom Jones and a little Veritaserum

A/N: I seem to like author's notes. You will find several in most of my fics. This is not important. It is totally useless info. And by the way, this fic is a complete mess. You have been forewarned, so don't sue me.

It was a clear night, which was unusual for late November at Hogwarts school for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Professor Trelawney was sitting in her tower, staring into the orb. All of a sudden, an owl flew in through the window of her office and landed on her head. She took the letter and opened it. It was an invitation.

Dear Sybill,

You are invited to a tea party in the dungeons at midnight tonight. I look forward to your presence.

Yours,

Severus

She stared into the orb, then thought for a moment. Then she decided that fate had sent the owl, and that she must go.

As Sybill's clock struck midnight, she walked down to the dungeons, where Snape met her.

"Ah, Sybill," he said "I thought you were not coming."

"Fate brought me here," she replied curtly

"Tea?" he asked

"Sure."

But, what she didn't know was that Snape had added the powerful Veriteserum to her cup, which would make her tell him her secrets.

After a few cups of tea and slices of cake, she said,

"You know that Vernon Dursley, Harry Potter's uncle?" She asked, "Well, every time I get of the Hogwarts Express and see him, I feel like fucking him."

Severus was heartbroken, but decided not to tell anyone. Instead he just pretended he didn't care.

Meanwhile, at a Tom Jones concert.......................

"Oh my god, Vernon, I don't believe we're actually here!" screamed Petunia, in Vernon Dursley's ear

Tom Jones was Petunias all time favourite singer, and she was going to a very special concert in Albert Hall. Vernon had paid for the tickets as a birthday surprise.

Just then, Tom Jones walked on stage, singing,

It's not unusual to be loved by anyone, ..................

Petunia gave another shrill scream, and started jumping around like a school girl.

Suddenly, there was a loud bang and Tom Jones disappeared out of sight. Most of the audience (being Muggles) thought it was a stage trick. Vernon and Petunia, however, knew otherwise.

"This has something to do with them," roared Vernon, and with that, he stormed to the car, dragging Petunia, and drove in the general direction of Hogwarts.

As they stormed through the Forbidden Forest, Petunia (somehow) saw Tom Jones through the darkness. So, before Vernon could stop her, she leapt out the car and ran off in his direction, saying something about him signing her bum.

Back at the tea party there was a commotion. Vernon Dursley, after losing Petunia in the forest, stormed straight up to the castle, and straight into Snape's tea party.

"I demand to know exactly what's going on right now!" he bellowed
