Chapter 7: Out

"Harry!"

"You can't call me that here, not yet." Harry looked around him worriedly and opened the door to his office to let both himself and Malfoy inside.

"Sorry, Professor Potter," smirked Draco, letting his gaze rest on Harry a second too long.

"I had fun the other day," Harry said, quietly.

"Me too." Draco walked towards Harry and looked him in the eye, "I was wondering if you wanted to do something this weekend, maybe a movie?"

"Like, as in a..."

"Date," Draco said firmly, as he put his hand on Harry's hand and ran it up to his shoulder, slowly and sensually. "You meant what you said at the museum, didn't you?"

"I did!" Harry assured Draco. He stepped towards him and let Draco put his arm around his waist. He put his hand on Draco's back and said softly to him, "It's just all so new to me."

"Don't worry, I'm here for you."

"Thank you, so much."

"Of course, Professor. Now I must be getting to my class." Draco pulled his hand away from Harry and started toward the door. Harry almost cried out, as if in pain, at having Draco leave him. Draco's eyes laughed at Harry's reaction and quickly walking back, gave Harry a quick kiss. On the lips but no tongue, just enough to have him coming back for more. Harry couldn't stop thinking about that kiss all day.

Hermione and Ron were alone in Harry's house. They were both excited about the quidditch game they were going to that weekend.

"Ginny seemed happy enough when she left," Hermione noted as she folded laundry. Ron was sitting with her in the den. He was watching something Harry called "t.v.". He was fascinated by this ridiculous muggle contraption.

"Did she?" Ron asked, not really paying attention.

"Yes she did. Harry looked a bit ruffled though, distracted almost. Do you know what was on his mind Ron honey?" Hermione was still very interested in knowing everything there was to know.

"Nope. You probably imagined it," Ron suggested as he flicked through the "channels". Hermione turned around to see him watching scantily-clad women weave themselves around poles. She went over to the television and abruptly turned it off. "Hey!" Ron complained, "I was watching that!"

"I could tell! Honestly, Ron, that sort of thing is just as bad as cheating!" Hermione had her hands on her hips.

"Well it's not like I'm going to see any of that around here am I?" Ron retaliated.

"I'm not so sure about that..." Ron smiled, surprised, as Hermione began to remove her top to reveal a black lace bra underneath. She then unzipped her jeans. Ron went to her but she kept backing away from him, taunting him, leading him towards their bedroom.

Ginny sat in her office, alone. She had been right about Harry. Last night, when she'd allowed Harry to share with her the truth, she hadn't been sure. But now she knew. It was better, she tried to convince herself, to know that there was truly no hope. Ginny couldn't lie to anyone very well, but least of all herself. So she ended up, not for the first time that week, crying all through lunch hour.

Thanks for your patience.
