Marriage Synopsis
Mrs. Virginia Celeste Potter.
God, what a name. Fourteen years ago, on January fifteenth, Ginny was the happiest woman alive to receive that name. She was so in love then. She remembered hers and Harry's first nights of marriage together. As soon as they got home, they would tear off each other's clothes and make love to each other in a lust-filled frenzy. But things started slowing down as Gabrielle Potter was born that same year. Julian was born three years later. Gabrielle and Julian Potter were the only two things keeping the marriage together.
Ginny used to love looking through her wedding pictures. Tears formed in her eyes just looking at her in that beautiful white wedding dress. The straps clung loosely and elegantly to her shoulders, accentuating their shapely size. Small white roses were budded over the skirt. She was gorgeous. Her heart would swell with pride and love as Harry smiled at her from the photos.
That was such a long time ago.
Everything had just disappeared. The love, the passion and the lust had all vanished. Sure, once in a while Harry would roll over and start kissing and caressing Ginny's neck and murmur, "How about a quickie?" and Ginny would hesitantly oblige. But that hasn't happened in months. Things had gotten boring.
"Geez, Gin, you're so picky!" Pansy said when Ginny mentioned the decrease in her marriage. "How could things get boring? You and Harry were so in love!"
"Yeah, I know Pans... but I don't know, I don't know if I even love him anymore," Ginny haplessly replied.
"Well I don't know... ooh! Look at this column in YM!" she read it. "Are you married? Are tired of your lover? Have his moves in bed gotten predictable by now? Take this quiz to see how hot you are and if you can dump you hubby for a newer, sexier one!"
"Pansy, that's totally ridiculous!" Ginny had said incredulously at her best friend, but she took the quiz anyway. The quiz had questions like: How loud do you moan? Or, Which way do you brush your hair? And, how long and often do you masturbate? ("Never!" Ginny shrieked.)
Ginny was a, 'Britney Spears,' whoever that was, meaning she was a cute an innocent girl, who could attract a guy enough to come along and check her out without her pouncing on him and inviting him to her house to have a drink...or two. That was a 'Lil' Kim,' whoever that was.
"Great!" said Pansy enthusiastically. "You're officially hot enough to dump Harry!" After that comment, Ginny rolled her eyes.
Harry had become so absorbed in his work lately; he began to become negligent towards his family. The 'I love you's' and the small kisses, which usually were on the lips, now on the cheek, had gradually lost its meaning. Even towards his own children. Harry had even accidentally called Julian, 'Jordan,' causing the five year old to burst into tears. Ginny picked him up and soothed him, and didn't talk to Harry for a month. But Harry didn't care, or notice, for that matter. Now at eleven, Julian just ignored his father back, as well as Gabrielle. The fourteen year old now called him, "Harry" instead of the traditional, "Daddy." But Harry didn't care. Gabrielle was a Slytherin. And when Harry found out, he wouldn't talk to her for a week after she came back. But that didn't keep him from protecting her. Gabrielle was a mirror form of her father and mother: dark hair from Harry, violet eyes from Ginny. She had also inherited Ginny's hourglass figure, which made her popular amongst the boys at Hogwarts. Harry knew this, and her forbade her from having any boyfriends, which angered Ginny as well.
It also seemed as if Harry favored Julian over Gabrielle. This was probably because Julian was in Ravenclaw. Anything but Slytherin made Harry happy. He was the opposite of his sister, Weasley hair, and Potter eyes. Julian was a Keeper for the Quidditch team, much to Harry's dislike. His sister was a seeker, and was as renowned as her father had been. So the favoritism had almost balanced out. Almost. Every time Gabrielle and Harry had a disagreement, he would murmur, "Damn Slytherins..."
"This place is a mess." Ginny said, noticing something lying on the carpet and bending down to get it. It was a little packet of Muggle photographs, not far from Harry's briefcase. She opened it and took a look at the pictures. Ginny gasped and hoped she was hallucinating.
What she saw were pictures of a naked woman. It was a blonde woman, who looked about twenty. She was dressed in the first few pictures, but the clothes eventually came off in the later ones. She was reaching out her hand, to whoever was behind that camera, taking the picture. She was leisurely posing nude on a desk, her full breasts bulging out, so fake, Ginny thought. She had a luscious figure, her legs were crossed and Ginny could see a small amount of pubic hair, enough to know that whoever this was wasn't a natural blonde. Ginny threw them on the dining room table.
Harry has some explaining tonight, she thought to herself.
