Draco's New View

One day Draco was sitting in his room of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was reminiscing on his days at Hogwarts and how empty they seemed. He realized that those days were over and that now he had a job to do. He was after all the Potions Master and the head of the Slytherin house. Not only had that he became the youngest teacher to teach at Hogwarts. His first year was the year after he graduated. Now he could only wish that there was more out there for him then being cooped up all the time. It did have its good points though. Draco was free on holidays and summers. How many people could say that about their jobs? Not many Draco answered his own question. Draco did not miss anyone from graduation. Not many at least and the people he did miss were the ones he thought he would never think of but to hate. He seemed to be missing more than anything the people lost in The Great War. Mostly the ones he used to get along with died and his hate died with them. Now Draco had grown up. Draco napped back to reality and looked at his watch and realized there was one hour till to meet the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and show the new person around. A memory immediately fled his brain.

~FLASHBACK~

Draco knocked on Dumbledore's door. The door immediately swung open to show an aging Dumbledore sitting at his desk yet with the glint in his eyes that he never lost. Dumbledore smiled and said, "Draco, as you are now one of the teachers at Hogwarts I am expecting you to show our new teacher the ropes, rules, and regulations around Hogwarts. Long as you do not mind that is."

Draco smirked at the headmaster and said, "Sir, it would only be my pleasure to assist the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. IS there anything I should know about him or her?" The headmaster only smiled and Draco took that as his hint to leave.

~END FLASHBACK~

Draco sat up and smiled wondering who this mystery teacher would be. It had been four years since Draco graduated from Hogwarts and seven years since he helped defeat the Dark Lord. Draco did not reminisce in the thoughts of that night and he just took another glance at his bedroom clock. He now only had ten minutes to leave the dungeons and get to the entrance hall. As Draco walked up the steps he ran into Lavender Brown, who was the Divination teacher, she smiled at him mumbled an apology and went on her way as did Draco with a mixture of thoughts in his head. As Draco reached the top of the stairs the great oak doors began to swing open.

He walked quite a bit faster wondering, "Who could this mystery teacher be? Will they be around long enough to get to . . . . . " His thoughts were stopped abrubtly as he caught sight of the new teacher in the door and what he saw made his blood run cold.
