Potions that day for Draco couldn't pass quickly enough. It was his second favourite subject, behind Arithmancy, but he knew that what came at the end of it would be such a good feeling. He would be so relieved.

Potions for Hermione was simple that day. They were to brew the Polyjuice Potion, in pairs, which was something she had done almost four years ago. She was partnered with Harry, and as he had assisted her, they flew through the class, for once succeeding. She was eager for lunch to come however. She was hungry, and she was sick of Draco staring at her. Always.

Potions for Harry was much more enjoyable than usual. But then, working with Hermione always was. She took over everything, and left you sitting there simply pretending to do something. Besides, doing this Potion would take a month, so he was guaranteed good marks for this month at least. Now that was always a plus.

I'm tyring to remember
why I was afraid
to be myself and let the
covers fall away.
I guess I never had someone like you
to help me fit
in my skin.

I never felt like this before
I'm naked
around you
does it show?
You see right through me
and I can't hide
I'm naked
around you
and it feels so right.

The class ended, and Draco swallowed his pride. It was now or never. He packed his cauldron away slowly, hoping that Potter would leave. However, he waited behind for Hermione, so Draco had to seize the opportunity, hoping it would work this time.

"Granger. I need to talk to you about Prefect duties. I want to swap with you tonight, so I can train for Quidditch." He said this in a relatively bored tone, hoping they would take the bait.

Hermione packed her cauldron slowly at the end of class, hoping to avoid another encounter with Malfoy, who seemed to have the same idea as her. Just as she finished though, he called her name. Damn it.

"Fine Malfoy."

She turned to Harry.

"I'll see you at lunch. Don't worry, I'll be fine. I'm expert at hexes now anyway after DA."

She grinned and winked. What could he possibly want now? I know he's lying, otherwise he would have just asked me this morning...

Harry waited patiently for Hermione, who seemed much slower than usual. He watched Snape clear off to his office, glad that he didn't have to be insulted by him today. As Draco called for Hermione though, he quirked an eyebrow. Little git better not try anything, he's messing with the wrong witch. As per Hermione's request however, he cleared off, grudgingly, deciding to leave them to it. He waited at the top of the dungeon stairs however. First sound of shouting, and he'd be back in there.

Draco watched Potter leave, waiting for his footsteps to fade away before he spoke. The last thing he wanted was to be heard, and he was mighty thankful Snape had cleared off.

"That's not actually what I wanted to talk to you about."

He watched her cross her arms, hoping she wouldn't put this wall up again.

Hermione couldn't believe it. Here he was, wasting her time again.

"Listen Malfoy, I'm hungry. So hurry up and say what you're going to say, because I'm clearing out otherwise."

She crossed her arms, letting a hand slip inside her robes for her wand. Just in case.

Ron woke up, having had a pleasant hour's sleep. He was grateful that he had given up Potions, as much as his mother hadn't wanted him to. He rolled out of bed, sunlight pouring through the open window, and still fully clothed, he decided to go and meet Harry and Hermione outside the Potions classroom, as their lesson was almost over. Throwing his cloak on, he made his way down the stairs and out of the Common Room. Ron Weasley's day was about to turn nasty.

After note: Second chapter up! This one's a little bit of a cliffie, next will be up soon.
