Molly took the liberty of explaining to the guests that Hermione and Ron were not getting married. This did not go over too well with Hermione's parents especially.

"What do you mean that she isn't marrying Ron?" Mr. Granger roared.

"It seems that there were some issues between her and Ron," Molly explained. "And they have decided to call off the wedding."

Noticing Mr. Granger's anger, Molly added, "However, there will still be a wedding."

"So my daughter is not getting married?" Mr. Granger assumed.

"Not exactly," Molly said nervously.

"Who the bloody hell is she marrying?"

"Mr. Granger, would you mind if we took this inside?" Molly asked.

"Why should I go inside?" he asked. "I feel a bit more comfortable out here, thank you very much."

"This is going to get ugly," Ginny commented as they spied on the parents.

"Mr. Granger," Molly hissed, her teeth bared. "I order you to get inside, this instant."

Mr. Granger, obviously taken aback from being order around like that, glared at her but kindly followed her inside.

"Hermione, will you please explain to me what is going on?" he said as he got inside.

"Well, the short story is that I've been cheating on Ron and now I'd prefer to marry George," Hermione told her father.

"Who is George?" her father asked confusedly.

"I am, sir," George spoke up.

"Are you brothers?" he asked George and Ron.

"Yes, sir," they both said quickly.

"I see..." Mr. Granger said scowling at them. "Well, George, I do not know you very well, but I trust my daughter's judgement." He held out his hand. "Welcome to the family."

George shook his hand, feeling very relieved. "Thank you, sir."

Hermione took her father's arm for the second time that day and he whispered, "Are you sure about this one?"

"Pretty sure," Hermione said with a wink. The wedding march began and they started down the aisle, walking much faster than last time.

Hermione caught Ron's eye. He forced a smile onto his face and Hermione smiled back. She could tell that it was killing him, but it felt great to finally have the secret out in the open.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here again to unite these two people in holy matrimony," the minister announced. Several guests chuckled but Hermione forced herself not to laugh.

"If there are present any persons who know why these two should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now, or forever hold your peace," he said, looking around the crowd.

Hermione turned around and looked at Ron. It looked as though he was sitting on his hands to force himself from doing anything.

"Very well," the minister muttered. "Do you, George Frederick Weasley, take Hermione Jane Granger to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in richer and in poorer, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?"

"I do," George said calmly.

"And do you, Hermione Jane Granger, take George Frederick Weasley to be your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold, in richer and in poorer, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?"

"I do," Hermione said, a great smile forming on her face.

They both slipped the rings on each other's fingers. "Then, by the power vested in me," the minister said, sounding quite relieved, "I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Acting as though he had waited years to hear those words, George pulled her close and kissed her hard on the mouth.

The guests all broke into applause, but Hermione and George couldn't hear it. All they knew was that this was how they were meant to be.
