"But, Ron," Hermione started, but Ron cut her off.

"Come with me," he said as he motioned toward the house.

Hermione ran up the aisle with Ron. All eyes were on them. Ginny and Harry, being maid of honour and best man, followed them inside the house, and slammed the door behind them.

"Ron, what are you doing?" Hermione asked. "I thought you wanted to marry me."

"Not if I know you're not going to be happy," he told her. "I know that something is going on. Between you and George."

"But, how?" Hermione mumbled. Then it dawned on her. "You two!" she turned and pointed menacingly at Harry and Ginny.

"Hermione, they didn't tell me anything," Ron said shaking his head. "At first, I wanted to act like it wasn't true, but I can see it when you look at each other."

"How - how long have you known?" Hermione asked, stumbling over her words.

"I dunno," Ron muttered. "After the first few weeks of going to your house and not finding you there, I got a little suspicious. It just all fell into place after I asked you to marry me."

"Ron, you have to understand, I never meant to hurt you," Hermione said honestly. "I just didn't want to hurt George either."

"Hermione, I understand," Ron said, tears forming in his eyes. "And I just can't see making you marry me..."

"Thank you, Ron," Hermione said, wrapping her arms around his neck. "You're the best fiancé I've ever had..."

"I'm the only fiancé you've ever had," Ron reminded her.

"This is true."

"By the way, Hermione, I thought I should give you a bit of advice," Ron said, pulling away from her. "Keep the blinds closed when you're snogging in George's bedroom."

"I thought you said that he didn't know!" Hermione yelled at Harry.

"I said as far as I knew, he didn't know," Harry corrected her.

"Well, Ron, I should probably give you this back," Hermione said, pulling the ring he had given her off of her finger.

"Keep it," Ron said, putting his hand over hers, "to remind you of the biggest mistake you almost made."

"What are all of you doing standing around?" Mrs. Weasley asked as she burst through the door. "The guests are waiting! We need to get on with the wedding! Ron, have you finally come to your senses?"

"Molly," Hermione cut in. "There isn't going to be a wedding. I'm sorry."

"What do you mean there's not going to be a wedding?" Molly, Harry, Ginny, and Ron said in unison.

"Ron, you, yourself, said I don't love you," Hermione reminded him.

"Hermione, you're forgetting that there's someone standing outside who does love you very much," Ron said, motioning at the door.

Hermione turned around and saw George standing in the doorway.

"George!" Molly yelled. "What are you doing here? What is this all about?"

Hermione hugged Ron one last time and made her way over to George.

"Hermione, you look beautiful," George commented.

She blushed and stared into his eyes.

"Hermione Jane Granger, will you marry me today, in our backyard where everyone is waiting for someone in this bloody house to say I do?" George asked.

"George, only you could manage to make a proposal so completely unromantic and still get me to say yes," Hermione said with a smile.

George grinned and pulled her face toward his. He passionately kissed her.

"You're all bloody mad!" Molly yelled. "Now, either someone tells me what the bloody hell is going on, or I'm going to blast you all to Azkaban!"

"I'll explain it to you later, Mum," Ron said, holding his mother's hand. "Although, I don't think I can explain the entire story." Ron looked at Harry and Ginny.

"I'll explain it, Molly," Harry said, taking her other hand.

"Oh, puh-lease," Ginny said, rolling her eyes and pushing both boys out of the way. "I know more than either of you want to know!"

"Well, not right now," George said with a grin. "Right now, we have a wedding to get to. Shall we?" He held his arm out to Hermione.

"I believe we shall," Hermione agreed, taking his arm. "No mistakes this time."

Author notes: By the way, I made a big mistake in my notes for the last chapter. I said that there would only be one more chapter (this one), but I lied. There is one more after this and then I have an epilogue for you. Sorry for the confusion!

Anyways, if you review, I will let you have Ron, who is now single and ready to mingle!
