Over the next few weeks, Hermione managed to keep her morning sickness under control. It was then that she decided she needed to talk to Ron.

"Hello, Love," Ron greeted her when she arrived at the Burrow.

"Hello, Ron," Hermione said quietly as Ron took her coat.

"How are you feeling today?"

"A little better," Hermione said pasting a fake smile on her face.

They both sat down at the table. After several minutes of silence, Ron asked, "Is there something you wanted to talk about, Hermione?"

Hermione bit her lip. "Yes, Ron, there is," she said, nodding anxiously. "It's about the wedding."

"I've been thinking about that too," Ron confessed. "And I don't see why we should wait until December to have the wedding."

"My thoughts exactly!" Hermione burst in. "I want to marry you as soon as possible."

"I was hoping you'd say that," Ron said with a smile. "I was thinking maybe September?"

"I was thinking more like," Hermione bit her lip, "May."

"But, Hermione, that's next month," Ron reminded her.

"I know," Hermione said. "I just don't want to wait. I mean, I know what I want. We don't really need to wait until September, do we?"

"How are we going to get everything ready?" Ron asked.

"Well, I was thinking that we could just have the wedding here," Hermione suggested.

"Here?" Ron stuttered. "As in, the Burrow?"

Hermione nodded. "And I want a small wedding, just family."

"But, here?"

"Yes, Ron," Hermione said, taking hold of his hand. "Is that okay?" She put on the most pitiful face she could manage.

Ron smiled. "Anything for you, sweetie."

Hermione smiled. 'If only Ginny could see this,' she thought.

"May?" George hissed at Hermione upon hearing the news. "I can't believe you're still going through with this."

"What am I supposed to do?" Hermione asked, putting her hands on her hips.

"Tell Ron the truth," George suggested.

"That'll be a lovely thing to explain to him," Hermione said, rolling her eyes. "'Ron, I don't want to marry you. By the way, I've been seeing George and I'm pregnant with his child.'"

"I thought it sounded nice," George commented.

Hermione sighed angrily. "That's all you can say? I'm marrying Ron, pregnant with your child, and having a nervous break down; and all you can do is say that it sounded nice?"

"Well, excuse me for trying to lighten the moment!" George yelled.

"George! This isn't the time to 'lighten the moment'! I might remind you that next month I am getting married to the man who is not the father of my unborn child!" Hermione shouted.

"Are you blaming this on me?" George bellowed.

"No," Hermione sighed. She sat down on the couch and closed her eyes. "This just isn't going to work..."

"I'll help as much as I can," George said sitting down next to her. "No matter what that means."

"Thank you, Love," Hermione said, kissing him sweetly on the lips.

"Hermione!" Ginny interrupted.

"Ginny!" Hermione cried as she got to her feet. "What are you doing here?"

"Ron is on his way over!" Ginny gasped. "George, you need to get out, now!"

Instantly, George disappeared with a pop.

"What on earth is Ron doing, coming over here?" Hermione asked.

"He wants to talk to you," Ginny told her. "I think he's on to you."

"What?" Hermione stammered. "But how?"

"I don't know," Ginny said, looking at her sympathetically. "I'd better go. Good Luck!" Ginny disappeared just as George had done.

Only seconds after Ginny had disappeared, Ron appeared in the fireplace.

"Honey, I'm home!" Ron called.

"Hello, Ron!" Hermione called back, her heart racing.

Ron sat down next to her on the couch. "Hermione, I feel that honesty and trust are the most important components of a relationship like ours."

Hermione sucked in a deep breath.

"And in order for our relationship to continue as smoothly as it has been, I think we need to be honest," Ron continued.

"I agree completely," Hermione told him, ready to tell him the truth. "I'm -"

"Harry is throwing me a bachelor's party tomorrow night," Ron interrupted. "And I think you should know everything that goes on."

"Oh," Hermione said, breathing a sigh of relief. "Well, er, Ron, I am well aware of the things that go on at a bachelor's party, and I am willing to allow you to do what you need to do."

"Thank you, Hermione," Ron said, pulling her into a hug. "You have no idea what this means to me."

The only thing that Hermione could hear, as Ron was apologising, was what Ron had said. 'Honesty and trust are the most important components of a relationship like ours.'
