George left to go to work at the shop, leaving Hermione and Ginny at the Burrow to have their "girl talk".

"So, Hermione, how long have you been doing this?" Ginny asked, folding her hands across her chest.

"Doing what?" Hermione asked, taking a sip of her tea.

"Seeing George, cheating on Ron, whatever you'd like to call it," Ginny said, her tone bitter.

"Oh," Hermione said, not feeling entirely comfortable talking to Ginny about this. "I suppose a few months."

"A few months!" Ginny roared abruptly. "Hermione, how could you do this to Ron? I thought you loved him!"

"I do, Ginny, I really do, but George, he just, he's just is different..."

"Yes, you're very observant, Hermione; George and Ron are different, they aren't the same person; if they were, I wouldn't be yelling at you."

"Ginny!" Hermione shouted. "Just shut it!"

"I should shut it?" Ginny asked, her temper rising. "I'm not the one who's letting George stick his tongue down my throat when I'm dating Ron!"

"I seem to remember you doing the same thing to a certain Dean Thomas though!" Hermione shot back.

Ginny's eyes widened. "Hermione, you agreed that we'd never mention that," she snarled.

"Never mention what?" Hermione said, an evil grin forming on her face. "That you slept with Seamus Finnegan, Dean's best friend, while you were still dating Dean?"

"Hermione! How dare you bring that up after promising that you'd never say anything?" Ginny said, slamming her mug down on the coffee table and letting it shatter into many little pieces.

"What, are you afraid that precious Harry will find out?" Hermione mocked her. "Afraid that Harry wouldn't want to date a tramp like you?"

"I might remind you that no one in my family knows about that," Ginny whispered threateningly. "They all assume that Dean and I agreed to break up because there was no chemistry."

"Yes, I know; I might remind you that I am the one who came up with that bullshit story, so your parents wouldn't put you in a convent!" Hermione sneered. "And I was also the one who put the memory charms on Dean and Seamus so they wouldn't tell the whole Gryffindor house, no, the whole school what you had done!"

"And I thanked you for that," Ginny said calmly, tears running down her face. "But I also swore you to secrecy."

"Just like I have done to you, Ginny," Hermione said, her voice now a bit calmer. "I didn't say anything in front of George, but if you tell any of this to anyone, I will tell them all about what really happened between you and Dean."

"Fine," Ginny agreed. "But, Hermione, will you try to decide in a week?"

"Why in a week, Ginny?" Hermione asked.

"Hermione, have you realised what next Saturday is?"

Hermione thought for a moment before it hit her. "Our anniversary?" Hermione muttered. "Our five year anniversary, Ginny?"

"Yes," Ginny confirmed. "You should know whom your heart belongs to by then."

"But Ginny, I can't tell Ron about George then, it'll kill him," Hermione begged. "Please, not then."

"Hermione, I can't even describe what Saturday is going to mean to Ron, so here is my advice," Ginny said, staring Hermione in the eyes. "Tell George it's over and let Ron go on believing that you were always honest with him."

At around noon, Ron arrived home from Quidditch, thoroughly soaked.

"Hello, Love," Ron said, kissing Hermione on the lips.

"How was practice?" Hermione asked, smiling affectionately.

"Well, one of our chasers got the flu, Harry got hit by a bludger four times, and one of our beaters ran into one of the hoops," Ron said. "But, on the other hand, I only let in two shots, so it was a fairly good day."

"Is Harry okay?" Ginny asked quickly.

"Oh yeah, he's fine," Ron said nonchalantly. "The mediwizard fixed him up before he went home. He said he'd pick you up tonight for dinner."

"Ginny, we were supposed to hang out tonight," Hermione reminded her.

"Aww, c'mon, Hermione," Ron said. "Let Ginny have a good time. We can spend the evening together."

"I guess..." Hermione said, not really wanting to spend time with either of them, but with George.

"Hermione, we cancelled those plans last week, remember?" Ginny cut in, as if she could read Hermione's mind. "You said you had meeting for work."

Hermione gave Ginny a questioning look. Ginny mouthed the name George.

"Oh my goodness!" Hermione exclaimed. "I can't believe I forgot! Can we make plans some other time, Ron?"

"Of course," Ron said, kissing her on the nose.

"I think I'm going to leave so I avoid hurling," Ginny said as she went upstairs.

"Are you looking forward to our anniversary?" Ron asked, sitting down at the kitchen table.

Hermione sat down across from Ron. She looked down at the table and muttered, "If only you knew the half of it..."

"Well, don't make any plans," Ron said, not even hearing what she had said. "Mum is making a big dinner, and everyone is going to be here."

"Sounds great," Hermione said, looking at the table, trying to look intrigued.

"Can you find out if your parents will come too?"

"Of course," Hermione said, finally looking up. "I'm sure they'd love to."

"Hermione, next Saturday is going to be the biggest night of your life," Ron said with a grin.

Hermione plastered a fake grin on her face and nodded in agreement. She knew Ron was right though. It would surely be the biggest night of her life.
