Yeah, I agree with all of you, this story kinda sucks,

Draco and Jess walked out of Wal-Mart together. Another eventless day at work finished. Draco and Jess were beginning to get along pretty well with each other, which was odd because both hardly ever got along well with anyone. One would almost be able to call them friends.

"Are you kidding me? Lucy Lui is totally not hotter than Cameron Diaz," Draco said loudly.

"Like totally," Jess said mockingly. "Fine, I'll give you that as long as you admit that Tom Green ruined any sex appeal Drew Barrymore had."

"Fine, but she's still hotter than Lucy Lui."

"You just like blondes, don't you?"

"You know it," Draco said, brushing his hand over his platinum blonde hair.

Jess laughed. "Well I go this way," he said, turning the corner.

"Bye," Draco called after him and continued walking down the street. He wanted to go do something but he didn't know what...just something more important than flipping through the millions of television stations in his hotel room to find that there was absolutely nothing to watch. American muggle TV is so bad. He continued walking aimlessly when he saw a familiar figure walking toward him.

"Granger?" he said, startled, "What are you doing?"

"I'm just taking a walk. My cousin is having her post-marriage party, and everyone is smoking and drinking and snogging, and I just needed to get some fresh air," she said quickly. "What are you doing?"

"What's it to you?" he said harshly.

"Nothing," she said, a little taken back, "I was just trying to be polite."

Draco gave Hermione a dirty look, but there was a sharp pang in his stomach when he looked at her. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. A long red gown flowed down the curves of her perfect body. Her dirty blonde hair fell in waves to her shoulder, surrounding her bright face. Draco quickly looked away. He hated himself for loving her. She was a mudblood, her best friend was Harry Potter, her life revolved around school, there was absolutely nothing about her to like, but he did anyway. To him she was perfect.

"I'm going to continue my walk. Bye Malfoy," Hermione said, brushing past Draco.

Draco spun around and began to follow her.

"What do you want Malfoy?" Hermione said, turning to Draco.

"Just to be with you," Draco said, trying to sound sarcastic.

"Why do you always have to be so annoying?"

"Why do you always have to be such a mudblood?"

Hermione was slightly hurt by the harsh name, but she was used to being called it by now. "Go away Malfoy."

"With pleasure," Draco said, but he didn't move.

"So?"

"Ya know, I've got nothing to do tonight, I think I'll crash your cousins party. I mean, drinking, smoking, snogging...sounds like a pretty excellent party to me."

"My cousin's a muggle."

"Poor thing."

"I'm not going to let you ruin my cousin's wedding."

"Why would I?"

"Cause she's a muggle."

"And?"

"And you're a Malfoy."

Draco was silent.

"What do you want to do there anyway?"

"Drink, smoke, and snog obviously."

"Why would you want to snog a muggle? You're you."

"Well I wouldn't just snog any muggle, that would be gross, cause I'd get cooties and all, but there are a select few muggles that I would allow myself to do."

"Like?"

"Any of Charlie's' Angels, by which, of course, I mean those of the new movies, not the original TV show."

"Cameron Diaz isn't at my cousin's party, terribly sorry."

"I guess I'll just have to settle for you then." Draco moved in and pretended he was about to kiss her. Well, not so much pretended, as he would have done it if she had given him a chance to.

"What is with you tonight Malfoy?" Hermione said, stepping away.

"What? Don't you want me to make you a little less muggle, Mudblood?" Draco grinned evilly.

"What?" Hermione asked, confused.

"You know, put a little wizard in ya."

Hermione shook her head. "Bye Malfoy," she said, walking away.

Draco called after her, "what? Don't you like me Granger?"

Hermione turned around and looked into Draco's face and he felt a sudden pounding in his chest. "No Draco, I don't. I pity all of those girls at Hogwarts who are completely in love with you. I'd feel bad for Snape too, but he's a git and doesn't disserve my pity. You have nothing. Your mean, stupid, ugly, and you smell like a farm. Leave me alone Malfoy." Hermione turned around again and continued waking away.

Draco felt a ball of tears in his chest, but he wouldn't show his pain. "Oh you know I'm beautiful. I'm the hottest thing that has ever hit Hogwarts, and you know you want a piece of me," he yelled after Hermione. "Maybe you just can't admit it to yourself cause you're so in love with Potter."

Hermione stopped and looked at Draco. Then she said simply, "I know you are but what am I?" She quickly turned back around and walked away.

Draco watched her go, too lazy to yell something back at her. "I don't love Potter," he whispered under his breath as he watched Hermione disappear into the distance, "I love you." He slowly turned around and made his way to his hotel to watch bad American TV.
