Hey everyone! I finally got this submitted, I've been working on it for quite awhile! Read and Review!

Destination Anywhere

"But, Mooom!" Christine Reynolds cried. "I don't wanna go back to that stupid school! Especially not when Megan is going somewhere else!"

"Honey," Linda Reynolds, soon to be McGonagall again, called. "I know you don't want to go there, but it really is the best school in the country!"

"So? Megan isn't going, so I don't want to!" Christine stormed off to her room.

"Christ, (A/N: Short I, not long. Rhymes with gist.) I know that you have always been with Megan, but you have a chance to further your education more than you can imagine. As much as I hate to admit it, I'll have to thank your father for getting you in," her mom said, following her. Finding the door locked, she rolled her eyes. She quickly pulled out her wand and performed the unlocking spell. "Will you at least think about it?"

"Absolutely," Christ said. She was silent for about five seconds. "I've thought about it, and I'm NOT going! I'll go to the public school with Megan!"

"Christ, you really should go to Underton's Wizarding Academy while you have the chance," Linda said, trying to be persuasive. What she didn't add was that she didn't want her daughter with Megan, not since that...unfortunate accident five years ago...

"Can I go to Aunt Minerva's school?" Christ asked, sulking on her bed.

"Do you really want to go all the way to Scotland? Especially when you don't want to go 3 miles away?" Linda asked, disbelievingly.

"Yes," Christ said, stubbornly. "After all, if I can go, it would greatly improve my education." She smiled a smile that looked sweet, with a hint of creepy.

"Fine," Linda said, rolling her eyes. She knew that her ex-husband would refuse to let his daughter go anywhere but a pureblood school. She couldn't believe that she'd married him sometimes. Of course, he had been different from the rest of his family at one point, but ever since that family reunion two years back...

Linda went down to the fireplace. She quickly fire called Jack. To her surprise, he agreed. She was in shock. It seemed that his nephew was two years older than Christ, and he wanted her to get to know him. Anyway, he had said, there were lots of purebloods there, if you got in the right house. Linda sighed. She called her sister, Minerva McGonagall. Luckily, she caught her.

"Hi, Min," Linda said, looking depressed.

"What's wrong, little sister? You have never called for a social chat, and never looking this depressed," Minerva said, immediately sitting down.

"Christ wants to go to Hogwarts, and Jack agreed," Linda sighed.

"Well, she's more than welcome to stay here until school. In fact, some of my friends are taking their son and one of his friends to Diagon Alley for school supplies in about a week. She can go there with them, and stay here the rest of the time."

Linda looked less than pleased. "I'll go talk to her. Maybe I can make her see that it's not right to leave her friend over here, when she refused to just go to a different high school."

"What's her friend's name?" Minerva asked, thinking that the friend was more than welcome as well.

"Megan Johnson," Linda replied. "However, you won't want her in your school," she said, correctly reading the look in her sister's eye. "She would be...less than satisfactory."

"In what way? If it's in her studies, that's fine. We have many different levels of students."

"It's not that."

"Well, is she shy?"

"Not really."

"Is she in trouble a lot? Because if she is, she'll get along great with the pair I was talking about earlier. They broke the old record for most detentions early last year, and haven't looked back."

"It's not that."

"Well, what on earth could it be?"

"She's...sick a lot."

"Well, we have an excellent infirmary," Minerva said, getting frustrated.

"Fine, I'll just say it. She's a werewolf."

"Oh, that won't be much of a problem," Minerva said. If you had told her that someone was a werewolf six years ago, she would have had a completely different response. Now, however, after meeting Remus Lupin, she was much more open to the idea.

"Mom, who are you talking to?" Christ asked, coming into the living room.

"Your aunt," Linda replied.

"Can I really go to Hogwarts?" Christ asked.

"Yes," Linda sighed. "For some reason, your father thinks it's a good idea. Your aunt agreed. Now, you had better go tell Megan, so you both have time to pack." She stopped to listen to the other side of the fire for a little bit. "You're leaving here tomorrow."

Christ looked stunned for a moment. Suddenly, she sprang into action. She hugged her mother, something that she hadn't done in at least a month. "I'll go tell her right now!" She exclaimed, running out the door.

Linda pulled out of the fire, and sighed again. How did she not know that Christ would wind up going to Hogwarts? It almost always worked out in Christ's favor. Not that she resented that, but it was more than a little strange.

Author notes: Well, How was it? Please Review. I'd really appreciate it, seeing as it's my first fanfic, ever. I really would appreciate constructive criticism, although about anything is welcome. Including flames. For almost April, you'd be surprised how cold it is here.
