New Homes in the Hollow

...Chapter Two...

"Oh my god...Ginny. Are you serious?" Harry asked, his eyes becoming wide with the shock of this news.

"She's completely serious," the doctor announced to the befuddled father and uncle. "I can't believe we didn't see it before, but it looks as though you're going to have twins Mrs. Potter." Ginny smiled weakly, but was soon hit with another powerful contraction. As her head, face filled with a pained expression, sank down into the pillow, Harry quickly ran to her side. Ginny murmured a soft thank you and Harry grabbed her hand and squeezed it tight as the doctor said, "Okay...let's go."

Harry quickly ran out of the room and swung himself out of the bedroom. He hustled to the living room as fast as he could, where his guests were awaiting his arrival, utterly perplexed. Of course, none of them had any idea why Harry went back into the bedroom in such a rush in the first place. When he appeared in the room, Emily and Hermione's eyes met him immediately, and he also found Draco and Madison's eyes watching him, too. They must have arrived while he was in the bedroom with Ginny.

"What's going on, Potter?" Draco asked. He had never actually gotten over calling Harry by his last name and Harry always called him Malfoy. It's just the way it had to be and it seemed right that way.

Harry beamed from ear to ear. "Well, when Ron called me, I rushed in and found out that Ginny had gone back into labor-" He didn't have time to finish before Hermione cut him off. "What? Why would she go back into labor? I thought Lily was already born!"

"She was...Lily was born this morning, but..." Harry began to smile even wider. "Ginny just gave birth to Lily's twin sister." With his comment, gasps filled the air and the room was filled with a sudden commotion. Draco walked over to Harry, smiling too, and congratulated him with a few words and a pat on the back. Madison just kept going on about how wonderful it was and how Harry had always seemed to be a loving father and how handling two more would be no problem. Emily and Hermione both screeched in excitement and hugged each other before looking over at Harry and running to him.

"Oh, Harry! That's absolutely wonderful! I'm so proud of you two!" Hermione said, smiling widely at him. Emily threw her arms around him in congratulations.

"Well, I've got to get back to Ginny. I'll bring the babies out in a while. Well, if Ginny allows me to take them out of her sight." He smirked, and then added to himself, "She's such a wonderful mother."

Harry quickly ran back down the hallway and into the bedroom where he found Ron holding Lily, and Ginny, crying and smiling into the eyes of her new baby girl. "Isn't she beautiful Harry? Both of them are."

He looked across the room at Lily and then over at the new one. "They are absolutely beautiful." He smiled widely. "And so are you."

Ginny smiled as Harry walked over to her and sat on the bed beside her, planting a soft kiss on her moistened lips. Even covered in sweat, she was beautiful. Harry then remembered his first kiss with Ginny. It was back in his sixth year...

Flashback to Harry's 6th Year

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Harry was sitting out by the lake thinking hard about what had just happened. He was bare-chested having just taken a swim. Why on earth had Cho dumped him? What had he done wrong? Thoughts were racing through his head. He retraced his steps. He had walked from the Great Hall to the Ravenclaw Common Room, just like every other day during break. He said the password, and stepped inside. He saw Cho, said hi, gave her a kiss, and then simply got dumped. He didn't understand it...he couldn't...and he didn't know how he was going to get over her. But wait...someone's image had appeared in his head constantly in his last few dreams. These weren't normal dreams; they were good dreams. They were cute, passionate, and somewhat romantic dreams. At first he couldn't place a finger on why he was dreaming about HER. What did she ever do for him? But then it came to him. He hadn't realized it before because his feelings for Cho had blocked his mind. He had feelings for her, and he was ! just realizing it now. She was invading his dreams, and he couldn't get her off his mind. Ginny Weasley. All of a sudden, he couldn't stop thinking about her.

He jumped as he felt a tap on his shoulder, and turned quickly to find just the person he was thinking about standing behind him.

"Is something wrong Harry?" Ginny asked him sweetly.

"No Gin...nothing at all," Harry replied, still surprised at how she had shown up at the very moment he was thinking about her. It almost seemed as if his loving thoughts had summoned her on the spot.

"I heard about you and Cho, Harry, so don't pretend that it's a secret. The whole school knows. I'm so sorry Harry." She placed a comforting hand on his bare shoulder and its warmth on his cool body made his skin tingle. The warmth shot down his spine and it felt as if the sun had just come out from behind the clouds and shined only upon him. Cho and his split didn't seem to matter anymore, even though they had just broken up a few hours before. Nothing seemed to matter since she showed up. His dreams of him kissing her in the gardens made especially for school balls shown in his mind, vowing to never leave his thoughts. Closing his eyes, he could almost feel her warm skin closing in around him and her plump, moist lips pressing against his in front of the misting fountain...

"Harry?" Ginny asked, breaking Harry's trance. He opened his eyes quickly and looked up at her, meeting her eyes. They were a soft, light cinnamon brown in color, and it seemed as if he could almost taste that very flavor in his mouth. His imagination seemed to be slightly arousing him. He thought quickly. "Ginny...do you still have feelings for me?" Harry asked, completely out of the blue.

Out of surprise, Ginny took a step back. "What would ever make you ask that?" She stared at him with a look of perplexity. He hadn't even given her a moment of thought before. Of course, Ginny had denied still liking him for a few years now, but deep down inside, she knew she still did. He was her first real love, and she knew she would always love him. In her past years, she had so many dreams about him, a few of them quite intimate and personal. She was always thinking about him, whether she liked it or not. Her tenseness out of shock was beginning to ease, and she sat down next to him. "But yes...I do...I always have." She looked deeply into his emerald green eyes and felt comforted by their brilliance.

He smiled. Ginny loved his smile. It was beautiful and so perfect. Every time he smiled she felt like she was part of an incredibly pleasant and lovely dream. It made her insides warm and made her heart melt with happiness. "Well, Ginny. I have been thinking for a few weeks now, and even if I was with Cho, I have now finally realized just before you came here that my heart was never truly with her..." Harry began. He was just too nervous to tell her about his feelings. What if she thought he was some sort of idiot who just wanted her for her body, and not for what she was on the inside?

"Well then...who was your heart with then?" Ginny asked. Her heart raced. Who was he falling for? Was it her? If it was, she would surely faint.

"Well Ginny...I know this may come as quite the surprise..." Harry took a deep breath. "You." Ginny's eyes widened and she simply stared into his eyes. "Me?"

"Yes Ginny...you. I have feelings for you, and I haven't realized it until now. I'm really sorry I never saw it before and I know it's so sudden after Cho and I's break up, but everything you do makes me so happy and warm. You just seem so perfect for me Ginny...I'm so sorry." He looked down at the ground with tears appearing at the corners of his eyes. They seemed to make his bright green eyes sparkle even more.

"Why are you sorry, Harry?"

"Because you probably don't feel the same way anymore...I know you said it, but you might just be saying that so you don't hurt my feelings...but its okay Ginny...you can tell me the truth." Harry said.

"Harry...as a matter of fact, I am telling the truth. Harry, I love you. I have loved you, and I think I always will love you." Ginny closed her eyes, waiting for his response, but he failed to speak. She then felt his hands cup her face and felt his lips against hers.

They were a picture of perfection. He loved her, and he knew it.

Back to the Real World

Yes. He could still remember it like it was yesterday. The day of their first kiss and they day he realized he loved her. He even remembered the date. He fell in love with her, the later-in-life Mrs. Ginny Potter, on the twenty-seventh of April. It was probably one of the best memories of his school life. Then, Harry had an epiphany. He had the greatest idea. On cue, Ginny asked, "Harry...what should we name her?" Harry smiled.

"April."
