"No one knows how to be parents, they just wing it."

~Ashley LeeAnn Fredrick

"I smile because it's funny how stupid you are."

"Gryffindor scores again," Rodney, the announcer, said for the audience. "Score is now 40-0 Gryffindor's lead. Flint, Henning, and Segin are really putting up a struggle out there against the Gryffindor chasers. Where are those seekers?"

Persephone rolled her eyes at the announcer. I'm working on it, her mind screeched searching around for the tiny golden snitch.

"Having any luck, Granger?" Rigel said flying by her chasing down a Gryffindor.

"Weasley brings in another goal for Gryffindor; 50-0," Rodney said sounding a bit bored.

"Damn Weasleys," Persephone muttered under her breathe as she looked at the victorious face of Porrima Weasley, oldest daughter of Percy and Penelope. Then she saw it, out of the corner of her eye. Instead of attracting attention to that direction Persephone quickly turned her head in the other direction.

"Nice try," Mirach Achernar, the Gryffindor chaser said flying by her. Damnit, she cursed and took off after him. Mirach was a good flyer, but Persephone had the newest brand of broom around.

"Isn't that her?" Harry Potter asked pointing at one of the two people now flying across the field. "She's a seeker?"

"Thinks she takes after her father," Malfoy said nodding that it was her.

"Nice moves," Harry said noticing the girl's technique. "That boy would give me a run for my money though too."

"A flying monkey would give you a run for your money, Potter," Malfoy said watching as the chase thickened for the snitch.

"Is that why I beat you every time, Malfoy?" the boy asked trying to hide the huge smile spreading across his face.

************************

"Granger's caught the snitch, unbelievable. Slytherin wins 100-50," Rodney announced.

"Too bad, Achernar," Persephone smirked dangling her hand with the snitch in front of the heaving boy. "You actually gave me a run for my money."

"Good game, Granger," Mirack said landing gracefully on the ground. "I'll be ready for you next time."

"You'll never be ready for me," she said landing beside him. Persephone reached up a frail hand and released the hair band holding back her shoulder-length curly black hair. She glanced out of the fifth-year boy out of the corner of her eye. He had dark blonde hair that fell shortly above his ears and flipped out at the end and he was very fit from playing Quidditch. Soon his bright blue eyes met her brown ones and she turned away. She glanced at two figures making the way across the field to her.

"Isn't that Harry Potter?" someone whispered nearby.

"Dad?" she asked making out the blonde figure. She ran the few yards stopping shortly in front of him. "Dad," she said realizing it was him. "I'm glad you came, I've been wanting you to watch me play. Do I fly like you? A lot of people say I fly like my father. Who's that?" she asked noticing the man beside him.

"Persephone, I'd like you to meet my partner, Harry Potter," Draco said signaling to Harry.

"So that's why in you're a bad mood all the time," she said looking at him with disgust. "I've heard stories about how much you hated him, Dad."

"Persephone, I think it's time we had a talk," Draco said knowing they were attracting eyes.

"She flies like you, doesn't she Mr. Malfoy?" Alphard Henning said clapping Persephone on the back. "I told you that you flew just like your father," the seventh-year said smiling at her.

"Her father didn't play Quidditch," Draco said before he could stop himself.

Harry rolled his eyes and muttered to him, "Do you think before you talk?"

"But, I know you played Quidditch, Mr. Malfoy," Rigel said joining the conversation, Aludra following behind. "My father tells me so all the time."

"I did play Quidditch," Draco said nodding, knowing it was time. You can't hide from the truth forever, now's the time, he thought. "Persephone, today is not only the anniversary of the death of Voldemort," Draco said glad that none of the children flinched. "It's also the anniversary of the death of your mother."

"Something tells me it's not just a coincidence," Alphard said raising the trademark Slytherin eyebrow. "Just like Harry Potter being here, with you."

Author notes: Yea, there it was. So, we know the truth, and hopefully Persephone will too!

Thanks for all the reviews, and if, in the reviews, you want to call Persephone, Hermy Jr. that's fine, I'll kno wat you're talking about!

More connections:
Mirach (Meerak)~ a star in Andromeda. So, that makes our Gryffindor seeker related to tonks, who, according to mythology is the daughter of Cassiopeia from our bedtime story...interesting.
Achernar~ a star in Eridanus, from our bedtime story. Achermar means "end of the river."
Segin~ a star in Cassiopeia
Rotanev (Rodney) ~ a star in Delphinus
Porrmina~ Roman goddess of childbirth. I just thought of the Weasleys.
