So, the story just keeps getting longer huh? Well, here's one more chapter.

Thank God for Wednesdays

"God gave us our relatives; thank god we can choose our friends."

"When a girl slaps you that usually means it's time to give up."

~Ashley LeeAnn Fredrick

Tuesday morning Pansy opened her office door to find it regular again with only her unorganized desk. A huge questioning crease in her forehead, she stormed into Harry's office.

"Padfoot," she growled. "Where's Malfoy?"

"He's gone," Harry said throwing a file on his desk and standing. "Isn't that what you wanted?"

"Where did he go?" she asked.

"Why, regretting what you said?" Harry asked crossing the room to her.

"No, I'm glad he's gone. Stupid ass actually tried to apologize to me," she scoffed making her way towards the door.

"Pansy," Harry said grabbing her wrist. "I hope that...that what happened...between us...." Harry trailed off before deciding to just spit it out. "I hope you can still talk to me about things, Pansy. I hope you can still trust me."

"Harry, what happened has nothing to do with it," she said turning to look at him. "I've never trusted anyone, not even you." She freed her wrist and disappeared through the door.

"Thank god for Wednesdays," Harry muttered sitting back down in his chair.

"Malfoy, get your stubborn ass up and open this door!" Ginny Weasley yelled at the door to Malfoy's flat outside London.

"Ginny, I told you we shouldn't have come," Ron whined.

"Oh, Ron, hush," his little sister said pounding on the door. "Fine, have it your way," she yelled again at the door. For a second Draco Malfoy, who was sitting inside his flat drowning his third shot of whiskey, thought they had gone away. But a moment later, thanks to the wand of Hermione Granger, the door burst open followed by three irritated people.

"Get the fuck out of my house," he said jumping up surprised.

"Not until you sit down and listen to us," Hermione said making her way to the window and throwing open the tightly drawn curtain.

"What?" he groaned sinking back into his chair.

"Don't look at me," Ron said when Malfoy's icy glare met his. "They're the one's that dragged me here."

"Oh, Ron, sit down and just watch," Ginny said and watched her brother sink sulkily into the couch. "Malfoy, why did you leave BC?"

"I didn't like working beneath you're boyfriend, little Weasel," he said taking another shot of his whiskey.

"Liar," Granger spat. Ginny and Hermione had come down here to knock some sense into Malfoy (literally) after Harry had told them what happened.

"Never mess with women on a mission," Ron put in from his position.

"Shut up," the other three people in the room said simultaneously.

"Listen, what do you want, Granger?" Malfoy asked trying to adjust to the light now pouring into the room.

"Get your lazy ass up and go back to work, Malfoy," Ginny said knocking his feet off the footrest.

"Malfoy, we know that the only reason you left is because Pansy didn't give a flying shit about you being there," Hermione scolded, her hands on her hips.

"Hermione!" Ron said surprised at her cussing.

"Shut up, Ron," Ginny and Hermione said turning back to Malfoy.

"Granger, you're insane. I left because I wanted to; she didn't have anything to do with it."

"Yea right," Ginny scoffed planting herself stubbornly on his footrest.

"Malfoy, we know you and Pansy had something," Hermione said.

Malfoy's eyebrow's raised and his eyes widened. "What the fuck, is Potter going public with this shit now?"

"She told us all," Ron said.

"Ron...."

"Yea, I know, shut up," Ron said cutting them off and crossing his arms across his chest.

"Malfoy, it's not going to kill you to have feelings," Ginny said.

"Listen, I told her how I felt, alright? A couple nights before the war I told her I loved her and the next night she went and screwed Potter," Malfoy said standing up and pacing the room. Ginny's mouth dropped open and Hermione looked terrified. "Whatever Pansy and I had is gone. I can't compete with Potter, so I disappeared. I tried to apologize to her yesterday but she just ignored me. I tried okay? There's nothing more I can do."

"Pansy and Harry...." Ginny said his words still sinking in.

"It was before you, Weasel," Malfoy said not feeling guilty about saying what he did.

Ginny wiped the tears that were stinging her eyes away and took a deep breath; she came here for Pansy's sake. "Malfoy, I know you and Pansy are stubborn as hell, but you can't hide your feelings forever. Go talk to her, make her forgive you. I think, no matter what she says, she loved you. When she thought you were dead it broke her heart. Now, finding out you're alive and you just left her on your own accord? I don't think I'd react any differently."

"She stamped CLOSED on my forehead," Malfoy said bitterly turning to face her.

"So wash it off," Hermione said. "Nothing is ever permanent, Malfoy."

"We're leaving now," Ginny said dragging Ron off the couch and pushing him out the door. "Harry is willing to give you back you're job if you show up tomorrow. Do yourself a favor, Malfoy," she said as she made her way out the door behind Hermione. "Go to work, that's all I ask. Work beside her, and maybe, in time, she'll forgive you. You'd better thank god for Wednesdays, Malfoy," she said closing the door behind her.
