Deirdre

Story Summary:
Children of Death Eaters, employed by Voldemort. Will they be able to break Blood Ties? A rather interesting fic, with two OCs and lots of Malfoy! Will be rather dark, but some humor thrown in too.

James and Duvessa, more commonly known as Blade and Wolf, sat in Wolf’s parents’ room, listening to the meeting going on downstairs. That afternoon, Blade’s parents had shown up at their house, excited looks on their faces. There were a few minutes of heated discussion, and Blade and Wolf had been sent upstairs. Later that evening, The Dark Lord had come to their house. He had been here for about three hours, talking to their parents. From what they had been able to hear, they were no longer needed in America, they were now needed in England.

“It’s so exciting!” said Wolf. “We might get to go to England, and go to Hogwarts!”

“It does sound cool. But think of the honor! We’ll be in Lord Voldemort’s inner circle, and we’ll be friends with Draco Malfoy! It would be amazing!” said Blade.

Just then, Wolf’s mother came upstairs.

“Hi, mummy,” said Wolf.

“Hello, dear. You need to put on your dress robes. Voldemort wishes to see you,” said her mother, Brona. “James, dear, your mother brought your robes as well. Here,” she said, handing him a folded up black robe.

“Thank you, Mrs. Wolfstar,” said Blade, going into the adjoining bathroom to change. Wolf ran to her room, and came out a few minutes later, wearing blue robes with darker blue trim that accentuated her blue-streaked hair perfectly. Blade was wearing his usual black. They went downstairs, where they met the Dark Lord for the first time.

“So, you are James and Duvessa,” he said, his voice like a snake’s hiss.

“Yes, sir,” they said, a little scared.

“You will be going to Hogwarts this year. I have a mission for you. Keep close to Potter and his friends, track their every move. You may be as rude as you want, but keep close tails on them. You will report to me every week,“ he told the two teens.

“Yes sir, we will not fail you, sir,” they said, bowing.

“Wonderful,” he said. “How, run along. You need to get ready, for you leave tomorrow!” They ran upstairs, whispering excitedly.

“Now,” said Voldemort, turning to their parents, “I trust you will not disappoint me. If you do, you know the price.” With that, he turned around, disaparrating into the night.

A week later, they stood outside Platform 9&3/4, saying goodbye to their parents.

"Now, you do remember what you are supposed to do?" said Wolf's mum for the hundredth time.

"YES! We do remember!" said Wolf and Blade together, getting exasperated.

"Okay, we should let them get on the platform now," said Blade's dad, checking his watch.

Just then, the Malfoys walked towards them. He had recognized their parents, and wanted to introduce everyone. After that was done, it was time to get on the train. All three of them ran through at once, releasing breaths they didn't know they were holding once they got through.

"Five years and I still hate that thing," said Malfoy, looking rather annoyed. "Right then, why don't we go dig up a seat?" he said, leading them towards the train.
