Draco reached the end of the staircase and walked into the corridor before him. He noticed an open door. It creaked as he opened it. Draco searched for the light switch. He found it and lit the room.

It was a bedroom. Besides a bed, there were a few cabinets, one huge library stand holding hundreds of musty old books and a small coffee table with a telephone on it. He sat on the bed and began to take the china pieces out of his back.

A loud thump came from inside one of the cabinets. Draco raised Peter's wand. "Come out, slowly. This is Lucius' son," Draco commanded, although the stressed look in his eyes gave away the fact that he was less than ready for another encounter.

There were thumping sounds from the cabinet, as well as an incomprehensible mumble. Something was moving violently in there.

Draco took a step back. "Accio door!"

The cabinet door flew out of it's frame. A tied and gagged Giles fell to the floor.

"What did you do to her?" Harry asked Dean in a scream. His eyes were so narrowed, they almost looked close. His face was reaching a purplish hue that would make Vernon proud.

"Nothing! Harry, she's Keyser Sozeing you!" Dean screamed.

"Don't you dare insult her like that!" Harry yelled, without understanding what Dean was saying. He was pointing Lucius' wand towards Dean. Without Harry's intention, small bleeding wounds began to appear on Dean's chest. Dean drew breath through clenched teeth, fighting down a small scream.

Cho was still sobbing uncontrollably on Harry's back.

"I didn't insult... Just trust me!" Dean was almost pleading now. Being hanged from 20 feet, with a powerful, crazy wizard who thinks you raped a girl he obviously likes can make you a tad desperate. "She's playing you! She's lying!"

Even throgh his hazed condition, Harry managed to find enough logic to turn a questioning look to Cho. She seemed even more hurt by his gaze. "You think that I would... No girl would invent," Cho closed her eyes. The tears continued to pour. "I wouldn't lie to you," she said and put her hand on his shoulder. Then she fell into him in a hug.

For the first time, it truly registered in Harry's mind that his current flame was half naked.

"Harry! She isn't real!" Dean screamed.

"Yes she is!" Harry screamed back and another, as a bigger wound appeared on Dean's chest. Cho began to cry on his neck.

"Would she act like this?" Dean was yelling, "think Harry! With your brain!"

"Shut up!" Harry screamed. Inadvertently, Harry managed to perform the silencing charm on Dean.

"Listen to me Harry!" Dean screamed in his head, but no voice came from his mouth.

That's it. It was over. Whoever the girl was, whether she was Cho or not, she obviously wasn't interested in the best for Harry and Dean. And now there was no way to convey this message to Harry.

"Lord Voldemort is carrying out an extremely well planned scheme. Even I never imagined such a strong offense. I'm afraid he caught us off guard," Dumbledore began to explain.

"But," Hermione started, but Albus raised an arm to quiet her. He looked older then Hermione had ever seen him.

"As you might have guessed there is an attack on Hogwarts."

Hermione gasped and barely stopped herself from chiming in.

"Most of the known death eaters and a few unknown ones," there was a rare trace of bitterness in the headmaster's voice, "are out there attacking us. They are aided by the Dementors - there are none of them in Azkaban anymore - and by the giants. A few of the giants tried to help our side, but they were oppressed quickly and fiercely, including Hagrid's step brother Grawp. I'm afraid there are a few other casualties. Professor Sinistra was captured and presumed dead, Mundungus Fletcher was murdered as was Kingsley Shacklebot. I'm afraid even students are not safe from their fire. Muggle born Colin Creevey. May he rest in peace. Those are the only ones you had the pleasure to meet. Most of the teachers are on the ground floor beating off the intruders. A few Aurors came to our service, while the others are being unwisely exploited by the ministry to make sure there are no evil creatures entering Hogsmade. All the death eaters are either here, or in Los Angeles. The students are in their rooms with the prefects," Dumbledore sighed. He pulled a handkerchief from his pocket and wiped the tears from his eyes.

"Lord Voldemort is in Los Angeles in search of an artifact that can help him raise an army of undead that would render him truly unstoppable. I'm afraid you and the other wizards, along with the slayerettes are the only people who are in a position to prevent him from completing his plan. I am sorry. I am sure that you have many questions to ask, many frustrations to vent and many comforting words to request. I'm afraid there is time for none. I cannot go to Los Angeles since I am vital in the battle that is taking place here at Hogwarts," Dumbledore summoned a rusting pipe to his hand. "Portus," he called and the pipe turned to a portkey.

"I must ask you to perform an unimaginable amount of courage and understanding and allow me to leave you now. This will take you to an empty classroom at the high school. Remember, Hermione."

She looked up at him, crying fervently.

"In accordance to what I told you earlier in the year, the most important thing is to take care of Harry. He is the only one who can end all this. Right now, more than anything, I am worried about his mental state," Dumbledore gave a somber pause.

"But, sir," Hermione paused to see if the headmaster would allow her to continue. Dumbledore nodded. "How can we stop him? And the other death eaters? And vampires? I mean..." Hermione trailed off for a second. "We're just kids."

A tear streamed down Dumbledore's cheek. "Yes, you are. Unfortunately, there is no alternative."

There was true, deep sorrow in the headmaster's voice. Dumbledore raised the rusty pipe.

"On the count of three. Good luck."

Xander, Ron and Buffy were looking transfixed at Giles' face transform. Slowly, Xander and Buffy began to recognize who was lying before them.

"I can't believe this!!" Buffy whispered.

"C'mon, let's go find an empty classroom," Xander offered. They dragged Ethan down the hall.

Dean struggled with all his might to somehow free himself from the cords binding him.

"What to do with him?" Harry asked, his voice poisoned with rage.

"Forget him," Cho said. Harry was surprised. "We'll get my father or someone from the ministry and he'll rot in Azkaban for ages."

She looked up at him. "I don't know what I'd do without you, Harry," Cho said, tears forming in her eyes again.

Somehow Harry managed to smile. She kissed him.

Harry was relishing the sweet escape. At the moment he had no responsibility, no worries. Just the calmness that comes from being with someone you love that loves you back.

Cho looked at Harry. "Close your eyes," she whispered to him.

Harry obliged. Cho looked up at Dean. She took her wand from her back pocket. She blew Dean a kiss. "Crucio!" Cho called. Harry fell to the floor and began to convulse. The room was filled with Harry's yells. Cho laid her wand down and the pain stopped. Harry looked up at her, incredulously. Cho smiled back and batted her eyes. "Crucio!" she yelled with savage triumph, as the pain returned to spread through Harry's body. Cho began to walk around him, not breaking the spell.

"You see, Harry, I never really cared for you. I was just another supporter of The Dark Lord. He wanted to have someone close to you."

She leaned towards him. "I'd say we got pretty close. Don't you?"

Dean looked helplessly at what was happening. Small puddles were forming, where drops of blood from his cuts were falling.

Cho lifted the curse. Harry lay limp on the floor. "Now, ickle Harry. Would you rather I give you another dose of torture, or should I just kill you?" Cho smiled as she relished the moment.

There was a small pop from behind her. Another Cho appeared and she hit the first Cho in the face with a baseball bat. The new Cho looked at the half naked Cho. "If you want to be a slut, do it with your own body."

Cordelia was sitting huddled beneath a sink in one of the many Sunnydale High bathrooms. She heard someone moving outside. After a short inner debate, she decided to take a look. Cordelia stood up slowly and peered out the window. She saw Angelus carrying a big bag across the lawn.

Something inside the bag was moving.

"Ennervate!" Ron called. Ethan woke up.

"Xander, I told you, I am Giles!" Ethan yelled. He realized he was tied up.

"Not as convincing as before," Xander said, "look at yourself."

Ethan looked at himself. Almost without missing a beat, he turned back to them. "Someone switched our bodies! I swear! Buffy, you must recognize me!"

"Yeah, as if anyone would fall for that!" Buffy said and kneeled in front of Ethan. "Now, every time you answer me something I don't believe, I will punch in you in the face."

"I want to help you," Ethan answered.

Buffy punched him in the face. "Strike one. Now, explain what the hell is going on here."

"I work for The Dark Lord," Ethan answered.

"Who?" Xander asked.

"You-Know-Who," Ron explained.

"No I don't."

"No, Voldemort is You-Know-Who."

"So, The Dark Lord is working with Lord Voldemort," Buffy asked.

"No! He is Voldemort," Ron answered.

"Who?"

"You-Know-Who," Buffy explained.

"I thought he was The Dark Lord," Xander said.

"No!" Ron yelled, agitated, "The Dark Lord is You-Know-Who."

"And he's working with Voldemort!" Buffy called, happy she finally understood.

"No! They are all the same person," Ron said aggravated.

"Are you sure?" Xander asked.

"I thought You-Know-Who didn't like Voldemort," Buffy said, as she tried to understand.

"Enough! You twits!" Ethan yelled, "They are all the same person! The Dark Lord is You-Know-Who who is Lord Vvv..."

Ethan began to stutter. Buffy punched him in the face. Ethan spat out some blood. "I was telling the truth."

"I know," Buffy said and shrugged.

Draco took the sock out of Giles' mouth. "I saw you at the house."

"That wasn't me," Giles said, "that was an imposter. Ethan Rayne. He's using Polyjuice potion. Untie me, please."

Draco began to untie Giles. "What's going on here?"

"We don't know much. Dumbledore should have contacted one of you by now. He said he would come here."

Draco stopped. "He's busy. There is an attack on Hogwarts."

Giles looked at him with wide eyes. "What? How do you know?"

"My father... He is a death eater. He probably came here also," Draco said.

"Are you sure that Dumbledore can't come?" Giles asked, sounding fearful.

"Positive."

"Then we must get to the school immediately," Giles said and stood up. He led Draco down the stairs.

**************

The new Cho was wearing a school sweatshirt and pants that were way to big for her. The first Cho reached for her wand, but the new one bashed her on the head with the bat again. The new Cho managed to take the wand from the first one. Cho noticed the status of the two boys in the room. She pointed her newly acquired wand to the now disoriented Cho on the floor. "Revelacio!" Cho called. The shadow of Bellatrix Lestrange's face appeared in front of the first Cho's face. Bellatrix took out her own wand, but Cho was quicker. "Expelliarmus!"

Bellatrix's wand flew out of her hand and she flew a couple of meters across the room. Bellatrix was beginning to return to her original shape. Cho turned to Harry. "Ennervate!"

Harry 's head rose slowly. He found Lucius' wand. "Harry, are you okay?" Cho asked. He ignored her and walked to Bellatrix.

"Oh, hello ickle baby Potter? Do you miss poor Sirius?" she taunted. A mistake.

"Expelliarmus!" Harry yelled. His curse was stronger. Bellatrix was flung in the air to the very end of the big building. Harry ran towards her.

"We've been here before, Potter," she spat, too angry to continue her taunting, "you just don't have it in you."

She smiled. "Maybe if you were just a little stronger, you could've saved your precious mangy black mutt!"

"Crucio!" Harry yelled. The surprise Bellatrix experienced was almost equal to the pain she felt. Almost.

Cho gasped in horror. "Harry!"

He couldn't hear her. Eventually, Harry's Crucio ended. Bellatrix smiled. "The Dark Lord would be so proud. Ickle baby Potter finally grows up!"

"Shut up, dirt! You're nothing!" Harry was screaming from his stomach, tears flowing from his eyes. "You and all your kind are going to lose! You're not real wizards!"

Bellatrix laughed. "We are the real wizards ickle death eater Potter."

A big gash appeared on the now fully formed Bellatrix's right arm. "It's Dumbledore that's got it wrong," she paused. "And besides, Harry," she flashed him a malicious smile, "you'd be better off on our side. Maybe that way not all of the people you love will end up dead because of you."

It took what she said a second to sink in. Cho ran to Harry, but she was too late. Before Harry could notice, he acted. "Avada Kedavra!"

Bellatrix fell to the floor. She was dead.

The world froze for a couple of minutes.

"Harry..." Cho began. He simply walked away.

"We need to find the others," he grunted. Cho began to follow him out of the roofed pool.

Dean flailed his arms trying to cause some noise with the cords. No sound came. A couple of minutes later, Cho rushed back in. "Sorry," she told the tied up teenage boy.
