I really love the Marauders, and lame as it sounds a tear

Sirius, James, Remus and Peter sat in the Gryffindor common room, deep in conversation.

"So," Sirius said, lowering his voice, "When we see him we batter him?"

"Yes," Remus said calmly, "And no, you see, we can't just go "batter" him we have to-" he began but James coughed loudly.

"Hello Lily," James smiled.

Lily raised an eyebrow, "What are you four doing?"

"Nothing," Sirius said, "Why? Do you think we ought to?"

Lily looked at all four of them; each of them wore the same innocent expression.

"Besides," squeaked Peter, "We were just doing our Potions homework, right boys?"

"Great Peter, way to give it away, no one would believe that," Sirius snorted.

Lily grinned slightly, the four of them were indeed a load of troublemakers but were also fun to be around, but their "fun" got them all into a lot of trouble, including Lily.

"So," Lily said, sitting down in between Sirius and Remus, "Who you planning to batter?"

"No one you know," Sirius said, smirking.

"Would that person be a certain boy named Severus Snape?" Lily asked, a grin appearing over her face.

All four of the boys instantly said, "No."

Lily laughed, "You guys are so predictable, so what's the plan this time? You've already tried pelting pig hearts at him in Potions and unless I'm mistaken you each got detention."

Sirius shrugged, "It was worth it."

Lily smiled, "So let me in on the plan, I want to be part of it."

Each of the boys looked surprised, Sirius put on a fake exaggerated gasp.

"Lily the school rebel? I think you're a bad impression on her James," Sirius said, winking at them both.

"Shut up Sirius," Lily said, smiling, "So what's the plan?"

"Well," Remus said, "We don't have one, at least not a good one that won't get us expelled," he added, casting a look at Sirius.

"Well," Lily smirked, "I have an idea."

Later that night the four boys walked up to their dorm.

"Who would have known? Lily the rebel," Sirius chuckled.

"It's a good plan though," Peter said, "Best one we have so far."

"Suppose," Sirius said, "Well, I'm going to get some kip, goodnight boys."

And with that he walked over to his bed and lay down on it, shutting the curtains.

"Smartest suggestion we've had all day," James yawned, "Apart from Lily's plan of course."

The rest of the boys were all soon climbing into their beds and falling asleep.

Remus, however stayed awake in his bed, what will become of the Marauders in ten years time?

Little did he know that Voldemort would blast two of his friends apart, one would help in doing that and the other would be accused for doing it. If someone told him that now, he would have laughed and would of told him or her they were mental.

Remus finally shut his eyes and fell asleep.

Lily tiptoed to the boy's dorms; she opened the door, quietly. The wind was ferocious and fierce rain was hitting the window. She looked towards the window and saw a bolt of lightning; she shivered and continued to tiptoe. She could hear Peter mumbling in his sleep, something about a pink elephant chasing him. Lily giggled slightly and got closer to a bed, which she assumed was James bed.

She opened the curtains and slid in the bed quietly. She couldn't see the figure since it was dark, but she knew it was James's bed; this is where they always had their "get together".

The figure moved slightly and turned to face Lily, though it was too dark to see properly.

"Surprised to see me?" Lily asked smiling.

"Actually I am," The voice said.

Lily frowned slightly, that didn't sound like James voice. Suddenly a small light from the thunder outside appeared and Lily saw Sirius's face.

Lily gasped, "Sirius! But, I thought this was James bed," she stuttered, turning red.

Sirius grinned and said, "No need to blush Lily, no you haven't gone mad, this is James bed."

Lily gasped, "Oh my god you're gay-" she began but he interrupted quickly.

"No I assure you I'm not gay, not sure about James though." Sirius said and grinned, indicating he was joking.

Lily hit him slightly, "Don't confuse my little brain."

"Little? You're the smartest witch in our year!" Sirius said, smiling.

Lily blushed slightly, and then remembered why she was here. "Err Sirius? What exactly are you doing in James bed?"

"Well that's a long story," Sirius said.

Suddenly there was a source of light; it was like someone had lit some candles.

Lily raised an eyebrow then heard footsteps coming closer.

Lily's green eyes widened, "Who's that?" she hissed.

Sirius shrugged, looking extremely calm.

Lily got ready to leap as the curtain opened slightly.

Then all of a sudden the curtain opened, Lily pounced onto the person, and then heard laughing.

Lily then realised the person she had pounced on was no other than James.

"James?" Lily asked.

"Hello Lily," James grinned, "This isn't usually the way you greet me, there's usually more smooching involved."

Lily got off him and smirked, "You did that on purpose, you knew I'd come and you made Sirius sleep in you're bed."

"Nope, for a change you're wrong," James said, "In fact Sirius spilt perfume on my bed and I made him swap beds, did you not smell the "Tutee fruity" perfume?"

Lily laughed slightly, "What was Sirius doing with girly perfume?"

James shrugged; they looked at Sirius who sort of blushed.

"I was writing a love letter," Sirius muttered.

James jaw dropped, "To Narcissa? Again?"

Then suddenly they heard laughing coming from one of the beds.

Then Remus's face appeared, a huge grin on his face.

Sirius gaped at him, "How long have you been eavesdropping?"

"Long enough to know that you fancy Narcissa, she's a Slytherin, bad blood," Remus said.

"Well," Sirius mumbled, "She's pretty, many are in Slytherin."

Lily snorted, "Slytherin girls? Pretty? Compared to what? A one eyed goblin?"

"Yeah, I've got to agree with Lily on this one, they are kind of ugly, plus I have to agree with her else she'll hit me," James said, glancing at Lily.

Lily smirked.

"However," James continued, "Narcissa is good looking, but isn't exactly "nice" is she?"

"Nope," Remus said, "It was only the other day that I asked her if she could pass the pigs hearts in potions when we were partners and she lobbed one at me! Pigs blood extremely hard to get out of fabric. And then when I was walking to here people thought I had been shot or in a fight."

Sirius laughed slightly, "Anyway, we still up for that plan of yours Lily?"

Lily nodded, "This time we're going to seriously make Snape regret we were born!"

"Lily, stop with the maniac thing, its creepy," Sirius said.

Lily opened her mouth to argue when suddenly a loud squeaky voice made them all jump.

"Will you all go to bed!" Peter squeaked, coming towards them, wearing pink fluffy earmuffs and pink fluffy slippers.

Sirius cracked up laughing.

Peter frowned and put his hands on his hips, "I'm warning you, get to bed, I'm tired, I can't sleep, continue you're discussion tomorrow."

There was a weird silence, where no one moved or spoke, apart from Sirius who was still laughing at Peter.

"What's so funny?" Peter asked, his eyes bulging at Sirius.

"Did you look in the mirror lately? You're wearing pink!" Sirius said, still laughing.

"Its shows my feminine side," Peter said proudly.

Sirius laughed, "No mate, it just makes you look like a fucking poof, at least loose the fluffy earmuffs."

Peter ignored his comments and turned to the rest, "If you don't go to bed I'll go straight to the prefects and-"

"We get the point Peter," Lupin said, "Loosen up."

Lupin got into his bed and pulled his curtains around, blocking him from view.

Peter turned to James and Lily, "Maybe its time for Lily to go to bed?" he squeaked.

"She's sleeping with me," James grinned, steering Lily to his bed and he too pulled the curtains around once they were both in bed.

Peter looked at the still laughing Sirius and shook his head, walking to his own bed and quickly shutting the curtains.

Sirius soon got bored and went to his bed and fell asleep.

One week later

Sirius sat in the great hall, munching on a bread roll, "Look at that slimy git," he mumbled.

James turned around to see who he was talking about, "Ah, Snape."

"He's been really pissing me off lately," Sirius, muttered, "When are we going to do the plan?"

"I thought we weren't going to do the plan, I mean its far too dangerous, we could be expelled, plus we'll be breaking a dozen school rules," Lily said.

Sirius looked at Lily. "We have to, if you don't want to then fine with us."

"No!" Lily said, "Of course I want to, its just, he's not that bad is he?"

"He's worse than "bad" he's evil," Sirius said.

Lily shook her head, "I doubt it."

A few minutes later they all got up and headed towards the doors, when Snape got up and came rushing past them.

Snape rushed into Lily, causing her to stumble and nearly trip over.

"Oh, didn't see you there," Snape sneered and carried on walking, Lucius Malfoy by his side.

Lily watched Snape with great dislike then turned to Sirius, "Tonight, we do the plan."
