Draco looked in the mirror and grinned, revealing excellent white, straight, teeth.

"Damn, I look good," Draco murmured, adjusting his hair.

"I know you do Draco," came a familiar voice.

Who would be in the boy's bathroom this early in the morning?
Draco pondered, then quickly spun around.

Draco gasped to see Hermione Granger smiling, wearing only a g-string and a bra.

"Pleased to see me tiger?" Hermione asked, coming closer to Draco and rubbing her body against his.

"Granger what the-" Draco began, but she cut him off.

"Don't resist the temptation," Hermione said, kissing him softly, "I love you and you love me, face it."

"But-" Draco began, but noticed Hermione was slowly undressing him.

"Ssh.." Hermione said and kissed him passionately, Draco responded.

There tongues collided it was a wonderful feeling.

They both fell on the floor and began to make love.

Draco sat up, immediately he scanned the dark room.

His heart was beating fast and he was sweating.

That was the 4th time in the week he had had the same dream.

Was it trying to tell him something?

Draco got up and made his way to the window, peering out of it.

It was still dark outside and there were no signs of movement.

Draco quickly got changed and checked his reflection in a mirror, making sure his hair looked okay.

He made his way down the stairs into the Slytherin common room, but soon regretted it.

"Draco!" squealed Pansy.

Draco rolled his eyes, "Hi Pansy," he said, trying not to sound too sarcastic.

"I guess you couldn't get to sleep either," Pansy said, coming closer to Draco and gently stroking his silvery blonde hair.

"Ay! Watch it!" Draco snapped, "I've just done my hair," he frowned.

Pansy didn't even flinch, in fact she giggled.

"What are you giggling at now?" Draco asked, agitated.

Pansy pouted, "Don't you like me anymore?"

Draco sighed, "Of course I do, I just had a bad...." he began, but didn't finish.

He was about to tell her he had had a bad dream, but that would make him sound like a wimp.

Pansy looked at Draco, "A bad..?" she asked.

"Just keep your large nose out of my business!" Draco snapped and marched back up to the boy's rooms.

Later at breakfast Draco avoided Pansy's eye and instead focused on Hermione.

He watched her intently, shook his head, trying to convince himself he didn't have feelings for her.

I'm not attracted to a Mudblood. I'm NOT,
Draco thought, but even his thoughts couldn't convince him this time.

"Malfoy keeps looking at you," Ron sniggered.

"Me?" Hermione said, rather alarmed. "No he must be looking at someone else," she said, blushing.

Draco noticed Ron sniggering and went red with anger.

Draco clenched his teeth together and ignored Ron's sniggers.

Stupid Weasley, what's he laughing about? Him and his dumb second hand robes,
Draco thought bitterly.

Draco laughed out loud; it's all he can afford.

A Slytherin girl with frizzy red hair looked at Draco with wide eyes.

"What are you staring at?" Draco hissed.

The girl blushed the same colour as her hair and looked the other way.

Draco continued to laugh; they're all scared of me, every one of them.

Draco then cast a look at Harry Potter, who was eating a bread roll.

Apart from precious Potter, he should flinch at my very name. He rejected my offer to be his friend, he'll regret it other's would die for the opportunity, but no not famous Harry Potter.

Draco scowled, then looked at Hermione.

How can I be attracted to her? What possibly has she got that no other girl has?

Draco saw out the corner of his eye Pansy drop soup down her front.

Brains.

As Draco left the Great Hall, he saw Hermione.

He took out his wand and muttered a simple spell, and watched in amusement as Hermione's bag split open, causing many things to fall on the floor and smash.

Draco swiftly hid behind a statue, watching Hermione.

Hermione quickly tried to gather everything up, Ron and Harry went to help, but she stopped them.

"You two carry onto Potions, I'll catch up," Hermione said.

"You sure?" Harry asked.

"I'm not a baby," Hermione said, "Go on, shoo!"

The two exchanged looks and walked down the nearly deserted corridor.

"Hello Miss Granger," Draco said, emerging from behind the statue.

"What do you want Malfoy?" Hermione asked, rolling her eyes and putting several items in her bag.

"Just a little chat," Draco said, smiling innocently.

Hermione raised an eyebrow, "And why exactly would you want to chat with me and why would I want to chat with you?" she asked.

"Because you find me sexy," Draco said, moving closer to her.

Draco had done this mainly to see her reaction, but wished he hadn't.

Hermione burst out laughing and wouldn't stop.

Draco scowled, "Shut it Mudblood."

Hermione immediately stopped and threw Draco a glare.

Draco smirked and knelt down, picking up the rest of Hermione's stuff and putting in her bag.

Hermione's eyes widened, she looked up at Draco, utterly bewildered.

Draco Malfoy had just helped her.

Has he gone mad?
Hermione thought.

Hermione shrugged, slung her bag over her back and walked down the corridor.

Draco sighed, how could he express his love to her when she loathed him?

In potions Draco kept glancing at Hermione.

Hermione noticed this and whispered to Ron and Harry, "Malfoy HELPED me earlier he was actually being sort of nice, seems strange."

Harry and Ron both looked confused.

"But he hates you doesn't he?" Harry asked.

"That's what I thought," Hermione said, matter-of-factly.

"Maybe he fancies you," Ron sniggered.

Hermione went slightly red but she too, laughed.

"Could you imagine that? Hermione Malfoy?" Harry said, grinning, "doubt Lucius Malfoy wouldn't be too keen on the idea.."

Draco looked at Hermione, Ron and Harry, and was almost certain they were talking about him.

Snape, the greasy-haired, hooked-nosed, oily-skinned, ill-mannered, potions teacher came striding past Draco and other to Hermione's table.

It was a well known fact Snape favoured Slytherin and loathed Gryffindor.

Draco watched as Snape began yelling at Hermione for making her potion too green, as far as Draco was concerned it looked the same as his. But then again, Snape used any excuse to take off marks off Gryffindor.

"That was a shitty lesson," Ron moaned, as he massaged his hand, from where he had burnt himself from being told by Snape to clean out all the cauldrons.

"I've got to go to the Library," Hermione said, dashing off.

Ron rolled his eyes, "She's mad, utterly."

Hermione entered the library and looked around, this was one of the places she liked to come to have some peace and quiet.

Once she had found the book she wanted, she sat in the corner, on a squishy chair and opened up the book.

"What you reading?" Draco asked.

Hermione looked up at him, "Why do you care?"

"I was just wondering," Draco muttered.

Should I tell her now? Confess all? Confess my true feelings and make a total dope out of myself?
