Prologue

They giggled as they shut the broom closet door. "Shh!" There was giggling, muffled with sounds of kissing. They had finally got Hermione of their heels, enjoying the moment of peace. Clothes were abandoned on the floor and soft moans could be heard. That moment of passion sealed their fate.

"Their son is going to be as powerful as they are together. Is it too late for your son's initiation, Lucius?" Voldemort looked at Lucius, narrowing his red eyes.

"No, my Lord. I'm sure he will serve you as loyaly as I."

"Then our victory is guaranteed." A smile played on Voldemort's lips as he thought up a perfect plan. But Voldemort didn't know that his plan would not succeed quite in a way he had thought.

Chapter One

Draco ran through the forest, able to see the front doors of Hogwarts peep out from behind the trees. He was exhausted but kept on running until he reached the doors. Harry was standing at the Entrance Hall for some reason, but he had no time to think about it, as he ran into Harry's arms, hugging him tightly.

"Oh, Harry. I was sure that I wouldn't see you ever again." Draco suddenly noticed two figures coming out of the shadows behind Harry. "What is this about? What is going on, Harry?" Draco pulled away, seeing Harry was crying.

"I'm sorry, Draco. I have no other choice," Harry said sadly.

The Aurors were approaching them slowly step by step.

"You think that I'm a Death Eater?" Draco paled even more than he already was.

"What do you expect me to think. You left with the Death Eaters!"

A uncontrollable sob escaped his throat. "No, no, Harry. You can't do this to me. No, I'm not a Death Eater. Please, no! Harry!"

The Aurors sized him up from his arms, dragging him towards the doors.

"No! Don't let them take me, Harry! HARRY!" Draco's voice was getting hoarse from all the shouting.

Harry's face was in his hands, shoulders shaking, as he cried while the Aurors dragged Draco away like a rag doll.

Draco didn't have the strength to fight back anymore. Harry disappeared from his view when the huge doors closed with a quiet thump.

"Nice to see you again so soon, Draco, my boy," Voldemort said, smiling cruely, obviously enjoying himself.

Draco was thrown on the ground before Voldemort. The Aurors had been Death Eaters in disguise. Draco willed himself not to cry anymore. He would die but he didn't fear it anymore.

"You were promised to me but you went and had your way with Potter. I'm expecting more loyalty from you now on. You know yourself that when you see Potter again, it will be on the battle field."

Voldemort's cold words stung him. "No," he moaned. He knew it was true. He would have to fight against Harry if he wanted to live. But he was sure that they would not let him die because he was of great value to Harry. He hoped that Harry would start hate him. Then it wouldn't matter if he died or not.

When Harry found out it hadn't been the Aurors, who took Draco, he didn't know what to think. He was sure it had been the Death Eaters, but why? They had to have a reason to take Draco. What did Voldemort want him for? They were lovers and he knew Voldemort knew it also by now. Could it be something as simple as that? They presumed Harry would go after Draco. But then, why to set up that Auror thing? Nothing made sense. There had to be something else. Harry was getting frustrated with all this thinking.

"How's your son, Lucius? Everything progressing normally?" Voldemort asked three days after Draco's kidnapping.

"As normally as it can in a situation like this, my Lord," Lucius answered.

"Good, good."

Lucius was dismissed.

"Soon, Potter, soon you'll suffer," Voldemort said, musing to himself in the empty room, his maniacal laughter echoing from the walls.
