Author's Notes: I want to thank LexiDevon for inspiration. I had a writer's block and LexiDevon's review returned my muse and I've been able to write again. So, this chapter is dedicated to you, LexiDevon.

Draco opened his eyes. Last night displayed in his mind as he dressed. Now certainly we crossed the line.

He was already drinking his second cup of coffee, and reading the Daily Prophet when Harry paddled in kissing his cheek.

"Hmm," Draco muttered absently, reading an article about the new section of law, which made Muggle children's adoption possible.

Draco's behaviour confused Harry. He hadn't expected them to be all lovey-dovey after last night. but still.... Maybe Draco hadn't meant it to happen. Harry still didn't know what Draco' true intentions were. They hadn't had the chance to have a heart to heart conversation. Tonight we must talk things over.

The drive to the Ministry was silent. Harry watched from the corner of his eye at Draco, who gazed out of the side window. "You have been quiet all morning. Is something wrong?" Harry asked, pulling over at the side of the road. When Draco hadn't answer he continued, "If it is about last night--"

"Nothing's wrong. I just want to be left alone for a while," Draco answered without looking away from whatever he was looking at outside.

Harry furrowed his brows. Keeping his mouth shut, he guided the car back on the road.

~*****~

Harry was chewing his quill absently as he looked at Draco standing a few feet away. Draco kept walking back and forth, always returning to his desk after getting a new file from the filing cabinet. Draco paused at his desk, furrowing his brows in concentration.

"Hey, Drace." Mike barged in, wrapping his arms around Draco's waist from behind.

Harry watched the scene curiously.

Draco seemed to act rather coldly towards Mike, paying no attention to him.

"As you know, Hermione Granger is getting married and she invited me, too. Would you like to go with me?" Mike kissed Draco's neck.

"I'm already going with Harry." Draco unwrapped Mike's arm around himself.

Harry raised an eyebrow. He hadn't even discussed about the wedding with Draco. This is getting interesting.

"What?" Mike paled, looking sick.

"I said--"

"I know what you said!" Mike said firmly and long silence followed.

Harry had stopped his chewing and watched unmoving what would happen next.

"You really think you can just cast me away?" Mike had a sad expression on his face.

"Mike, what--"

"Never mind. You wouldn't understand anyway." Mike slammed the door as he went.

After a brief silence Harry opened his mouth, "So, does this mean you are dumping Mike?" Harry asked, looking at Draco and waiting to see any kind of sign of what Draco was thinking.

"Maybe," Draco said and returned to do his work.

~*****~

Harry was watching TV when the doorbell rang.

"Harry! Could you get the door?" Draco's voice shouted from the kitchen.

Reluctantly Harry rose up from the comfortable couch. His favourite and only TV show he watched was on. He opened the door and found very serious and sad looking Mike on the other side of it.

"Come in." Harry let Mike pass. "Draco! Mike's here."

Draco came at the kitchen door, wiping his hands to a towel. It had been Draco's turn to do the dishes.

"Can I talk to you for a sec," Mike sounded confident.

"Sure. Come, we can talk in here." Draco let mike to his bedroom and placed a silencing charm on the door.

"Did it work? Was it convincing?" Mike asked, smiling evilly.

"It worked perfectly. Your acting skills are remarkable." Draco smiled faintly.

"What's wrong?" Mike placed a comforting hand on Draco's arm.

"Nothing. I'm just.... I don't know. I don't know if this was such an good idea."

"What the hell are you talking about? We have worked hard to get Potter notice how gorgeous you are and now you're backing away? Did he say something to you?" Mike's voice was full of concern and anger.

"He didn't say anything that's the problem," Draco said, sighing.

"What happened, then? Something must have 'cause you are acting this way."

"We... Well, last night I gave him the massage...."

Mike nodded, knowing what Draco was talking about.

"One thing let to another, and we kind of made out and he sucked me off and I sucked him off and then..."

"What?" Mike was hanging on every word that left Draco's mouth.

"Then nothing. He just wished me a goodnight and went to bed," Draco said. "I expected that he would have said something, but he hasn't, and I'm worried that maybe he hasn't got over the issue of us being old rivals. Maybe I'm just one of his conquests or something like that."

"Oh, Drace." Mike hugged Draco close. "I'm sure that's not what he's thinking. I think it's a time for you to talk with him and tell him how you feel."

"Yeah, I think so, too." Draco nodded.

Author's Notes: There's gonna be at least two chapters left, so the end is near.
