Draco pushed Harry away and punched him. Several people rushed to aid Harry as he fell to the ground. Draco headed out, pushing people angrily out of his way.

He couldn't believe Harry had just done that in front of all these people. He felt humiliated and ran as far he could without collapsing. Draco stopped when he reached an old oak tree near the lake.

Harry's chin was on fire. He hadn't expected Draco to react like that. Actually he didn't know why he had kissed him in the first place. He rubbed his chin cautiously. It wasn't broken, but there would be a bruise tomorrow.

"I'm alright," he said to the people who helped him up. He staggered a bit, but he managed to walk out.

Harry didn't have to look for Draco, as he spotted him right away at the lake shore. He sneaked behind him and covered Draco's eyes with his hands.

"Still mad?" he whispered quietly into Draco's ear.

Draco tore his hands off his face. "Stop it!"

"I guess you are," Harry stated as if Draco hadn't said a word.

"What the hell were you thinking!?" Draco roared and turned to face Harry.

"What?" Harry asked innocently.

"Don't act like you don't know!"

"Hey, it's not a big deal.."

"It is for me! I've been fighting for a long time to regain my status in this society and now you're ruined it again."

Not knowing what would be the right thing to say, Harry hung his head, saying, "I'm sorry."

"You should be. If you ever do anything like that again, I'll be sure to rip your heart out with my bare hands," Draco said, knowing that it was pointless.

Harry didn't dare say anything or look at Draco.

Draco sighed. "What am I shouting at you for. You're so drunk you won't even remember it in the morning."

~*****~

He was right. Next morning Harry didn't remember what had happened and that was why Harry showed him the Daily Prophet.

"Look at the page 12," Harry said, munching his apple a look of discomfort on his face because of the pain he felt with every bite.

"How in Merlin's name did they get this picture?" Draco asked in pure astonishment. There on the middle of the page was a picture of their kiss and the punch that followed right after.

"Read the caption."

"Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy were making eyes at each other the whole evening which, as it seems, ended with a fight between the couple. Who the hell.. ah, I should have known. Colin bloody Creevey and his bloody camera." Draco tossed the paper on the table, frustrated by the picture and sat down. "And let me guess, You don't remember a thing, right?"

"Well.. no." Harry shrugged, smiling warily. He didn't know if Draco was about to blow up or not.

Draco noticed how cautiously Harry was acting. "Don't worry. I'm not going to shout at you. I did last night, but it was in vain since you don't even remember."

Harry relax visibly. "I'm sorry. I must have been awfully drunk to kiss you."

"I take that as a compliment," Draco sneered at him.

"I didn't mean it that way. I was trying to say.."

Draco stood up. "Don't bother. I don't want to hear it," he said, leaving the kitchen.

"Perfect Murder comes tonight on TV. You want to watch?" Draco asked behind his paper.

"Yeah. I don't have anything else to do anyway," Harry answered besides him on the couch.

"Hey, cheer up. If you don't want to watch it, you could say so." Draco lowered his paper and looked at Harry.

"Sorry. I really do want to watch it. Don't be so sensitive all the time." Harry folded his arms. Draco smiled and put the paper away.

"You should hear the things Tom tells about you," Draco said smirking.

"He knows nothing," Harry said and Draco got an impression that there had been a quarrel between the two men.

"I don't want to embarrass you but there is one thing I want to know," Draco said and turned to face Harry completely.

"What?" asked Harry unfolding his arms.

"Is it true you and Kyle were lovers?" Draco asked.

"Yes," Harry said blushing. There was no reason to deny it.

"What was he like?" Draco asked sincerely curious.

Harry blushed and a evil smirk spread across Draco's face. "I meant what he was like in person. You have a dirty mind, Potter."

"Well," Harry coughed and made himself comfortable. "He was kind and brave. He had a great sense of humour. He saved my life countless times when things went wrong. He was a great working partner. Everybody liked him. He was awfully talkative, but he never told about our relationship to anyone so I'm not surprised if nobody knew besides us." Harry had a dreamful expression on his face.

He was clearly remembering his time with Kyle. Draco coughed.

"Oh, sorry." Harry looked sheepish.

"Don't be. Hey, the movie is about to start," Draco said and fixed his gaze on the TV screen.

Harry had fallen asleep during the movie and his head was resting in Draco's lap. Draco was running his fingers through Harry's hair gently without waking him. He didn't know when he had started to do so, but it didn't matter, it was enough for him to see Harry's peaceful face: he looked too innocent for his age when he slept.

Draco moved Harry away from his lap as gently as he could. He paused to look at Harry as he was lowering his head down on the couch. He couldn't help himself, he had to do it. He had been thinking about it the whole day. He couldn't forget the feeling of Harry's lips against his.

He leaned in and placed a light kiss on Harry's lips. He wished that Harry wouldn't know about it. He left the room and didn't see the smirk appearing on Harry's face.

~*****~

Draco was doing his morning routine in the bathroom. He had taken a shower and was washing his teeth wearing only a towel. He was thinking about the night before. What in the world had made him do it? He really hoped that Harry wouldn't remember it.

He was leaving the bathroom when Harry opened the door and looked him in the eye. The look in Harry's eyes told him everything he needed know. Draco took a step back and doing so he gave Harry a perfect chance to push him against the wall. The door slammed shut and before he knew it, Harry was kissing him. They were so caught up that they didn't hear the front door opening and closing.

"Harry!?" It was Hermione. They sprang apart breathing heavily. Luckily the door was closed so that Hermione didn't see them.

"I'm coming, Hermione!" Harry shouted and blushed immediately. Draco started to laugh softly.

"Stop it, this isn't funny," Harry hissed, but he was smiling. Harry exited the bathroom and walked into the living-room.

"Sorry I was just.." He noticed that Hermione had brought Remus and Moody with her. "washing my teeth," he ended as normally as he could.

He knew that Moody had seen the whole thing. He tried hard not to blush. He could almost see Remus sniffing the air. So, Remus knows, too. This is just great. I'll never live this down.

"That's okay. I came here to tell you that Ron and I are getting married," Hermione said happily.

"You are?! I'm so happy for you!" Harry hugged Hermione tightly and kissed her cheek.

"Thanks. Ron couldn't come because he was busy with work, but he'll be happy to hear that you approve," Hermione said smiling.

"Of course, I do. You're my best friends and it was about time, I should say," Harry responded and sat down on the couch with Hermione.

"We didn't have the time before but now we are finally finding time for each other, so we thought ' why the hell not'. We are getting married next week. Just a little ceremony with closest friends and relatives. You can bring a date if you want, Harry."

"I'll think about it," Harry replied, shrugging.

"But now I have to go, Harry. See you soon, bye!" Hermione got up, waved and left the flat.

Remus sat beside Harry and had a long, intense look at him.

"What?" Harry asked.

"You're going to tell me what you are doing with Malfoy?" Remus asked right away.

"Nothing," Harry answered, blushing slightly.

"You shouldn't trust him, Harry," Moody said.

"But I do. It would be a little hard to work with him if I didn't," Harry said, the blush disappearing from his cheeks.

"Do you even know him?" Moody asked firmly.

"I know him well enough to trust him with my life!" Harry snapped back.

"Moody!" Remus snapped. "Calm down, Harry," he added, throwing a warning glance at Moody. "Harry," he said calmly. "You should be careful. You do remember what happened to Kyle.."

"Of course I do! How can I forget?!" Harry raised his voice.

"I don't want you to get hurt again," Remus said as calmly as before.

"So, you're saying that I shouldn't fall in love with him?" Harry asked, dropping his head.

"No. I'm just worried that you'll hurt yourself again by rushing into a new relationship," Remus said gently, putting his hand on Harry's shoulder.

Maybe Remus was right. He shouldn't let things get too complicated. He should talk with Draco before he decided what to do.

Harry didn't know that Draco had listened every word before retreating into his room quietly.

So, Harry doesn't want anything serious to happen between us. Draco felt betrayed in a way. He had been waiting to have a real relationship at last, but now that dream had been buried for good.

Draco couldn't sleep. He was thinking about his father and Harry. If he and Harry had started dating, he would have had to tell Harry about his father. All those horrors he had left behind, how could he tell them to him. Harry wouldn't want him after that. He was too dirty to be loved by Harry.

I can't face him after what happened yesterday.

"Draco?" a soft voice called from behind the bedroom door. Draco didn't want to answer. Maybe he'll go away if I just ignore him. Whom am I kidding? He's not gonna go away. He's going to barge in and demand to know what's wrong and then suddenly he'll grab me and we'll have wild sex on the floor and... GOD DAMMIT!

"Go away! I'm not coming to work today!" Draco screamed like a malevolent banshee.

"Why not?" Harry asked back.

"'Cause I'm sick that's why. Now leave me alone!" Draco buried himself deeper under the covers. He heard Harry leaving the flat after ten minutes.

He let out a sigh of relief. He picked up his mobile. He was going to have a fun day trying to forget Harry. A smile spread across his face as his only true friend picked up.

"Draco?" Harry called out when he came back from work. The whole house was empty, but Harry found a note on the kitchen counter.

Harry,

I'm out with Mike. Don't wait up.

Draco

PS. There's food in the fridge.

Harry snorted and threw the piece of paper into dustbin.
