A Living Nightmare or a Sweet Dream

Draco was walking home after talking with Ginny. He actually was talking to a Weasley. 'What's that world coming too?' He thought. 'I must be sick.'

Ginny had grown up a lot since the last time he really took the time to look at her. She was no longer the scared little first year who got her hand on Tom Riddle's diary. No, she was also no longer Harry Potter follower by the sounds of it. She had come to her senses on that one. She was a young women. A very beautiful one too. Her hair was still that same ugly red color that all the Weasley's have, but it looked nice on her. She could pull off wearing that color. She was gracefully too. When she walked away from Draco to go home he watched her hips sway like a pendulum. This whole thing was going to make his last year at Howgarts a memorable one to say the least.

Ginny didn't want to go home. She was to terrified of what her parents would say. Even though they didn't hear her swear, they would still freak out that she left the Order. They yell at her for a bit about responsibility and how she could have gotten hurt. But she didn't get hurt. Far from it actually. 'I'd better get home though,' she thought miserably to herself. 'the longer I wait, the bigger the lecture.'

She slowly opened the door, not wanting to be heard. "Virginia Weasley!" someone screeched.

"Oh no. I'm screwed,' she muttered to herself.

"WHERE IN THE WORLD HAVE YOU BEEN?" her mom yelled.

"Ummmm, went out for a walk to get some fresh air," she replied timidly.

"You could have been hurt or kidnapped! No more leaving the house..."

Her mom keep going on but Ginny wasn't paying attention. She was wrapped up in her thought of Draco. Who knew he could listen to peoples problem without criticizing them. Who knew he could help them out. 'This most be a day in history,' she thought to herself. 'This year will be interesting pretending to be his girlfriend. He is one of the most handsomest guys at Howgarts. I'm going to have fun with this.'

"Do you understand Ginny?" she mother was winding down now and close to the end of her yelling.

"Yes mother."

"Now go to your room. Luna, Hermione, Ron and Harry are up there worried sick.

"Ok."

She opened her door to find them all up there pacing.

"GINNY!" Luna screamed. "You came back."

"Oh course I came back. Where else could I go?"

"We were so worried about you Ginny?" Hermione said.

"Ya, Gin. Where did you go?" Ron asked.

"Just for a walk. No where special. 'That was a lie but they didn't need to know that.' She thought.

"Well you shouldn't scare us like that," Harry said.

"Whatever." She was about to tell them to leave because she wanted to go to sleep when a beautiful brown owl came into the room and landed on Ginny's shoulder.

"Who's that from, Gin?" Ron asked curiously.

"I don't know, but if you don't mind, I'd like to read my letter in private. I don't need others staring over my shoulder." Luna and Harry who were trying to see who it was from took the hint and backed up.

"Well if you don't know who it's from why should it matter?" Harry said. You could tell he was a bit hurt that she didn't want them to read it.

"Fine, I'll go some place else to read it." She slammed the door and raced to the bathroom. Just as she locked the door she heard them all pound on it.

"Let us in."

"No!" She opened the letter and began to read it.

Ginny,

I wanted to know which day you will be going to Diagon Alley to get your school supplies. I'll go the same day and meet you at the store across from Owerly. It has very good ice cream there.

She got out a quill and replied on the back.

Draco,

We will be going this Saturday. See you then.

Ginny

Just as she sent off the owl with her response, the door busted open. "Where's the letter?"

"I sent it off already."

"Damn it! Hermione, why couldn't you remember the spell to open up the door?"

"I dunno Ron, guess I just forgot." She winked over at Ginny.

'Thanks' she mouthed.

"Well, I'm going to get some sleep. Goodnight everyone." And with that Ginny left the room.
