A Living Nightmare or a Sweet Dream

Prologue

Holding back the tears was one of the hardest things she's ever done. The hardest thing was letting him walk out of her life with someone else. Deep down she knew that Harry could never truly love her other then like a sister, even though she wished he could. She knew that the love she had for him was going to stay with her forever and it would pain her to see him again but she would have to deal with it.

Ginny was now lying on her bed at home crying herself to sleep. It was the only thing she could do. She had lost the man she loved to her best friend. He was now going to make Luna Lovegood happy, not her. She couldn't stand it. She knew that she should be happy for her friends and get over it, but she loved him and he never even noticed. No one really noticed her anyways, so why should the Boy-Who-Lived, famous Harry Potter notice her.

He was going to be coming to visit soon. It was his last year at Hogwarts. He would be spending it wrapped up in his new girlfriend. He wouldn't notice the fact that Ginny had practiced new flying techniques. She didn't want to face him. She just couldn't do it. He was even bringing her to visit too. Her summer was going to be a living hell.

Chapter 1

She heard the yells of excitement from downstairs. They were here. She wasn't going to greet them like everyone else. She was going to wait until someone brought up Luna because Luna would be staying in this room, along with Hermione and me. "I won't be able to escape her," she thought miserably to herself.

Just then the door swung open. "Hello my bestest friend."

"Oh, hi Luna."

"You don't have to sound so happy to see me," she said playfully but then her face changed to a serious face. "Is this because of Harry. I know you liked him and all but you can't be mad at me because of it."

That ticked off Ginny so much. "I can't be? Why the hell not?" she thought.

"This has nothing to do with you so leave me alone." With that she stomped out of the room.

She ran down the stairs and past the happy people still welcoming Harry.

"Hey Ginny, Guess who's here?"

"I don't fucking care!"

She ran as fast as she could away from the house. She had no clue where she was running to but anyplace was better then when she was. When she finally stopped to catch her breath, realization hit her. She was close to the Malfoy Manor. "Oh my god. Is that Malfoy over there? I've got to hide," she muttered to herself.

It was too late. Draco Malfoy was already walking towards her. "What are you doing here Weasley Junior?"

"Just out on a stroll."

"A little far from home, aren't you? You couldn't afford anything around here?"

"Oh, just sod off." She wished she wouldn't but she started to cry.

For some odd reason, Malfoy asked "What are you crying about?" He looked a bit worried.

She couldn't help but tell him the whole story. He listened and didn't interrupt her. After she was done he whistled. "You shouldn't be so worried. It's just stupid Potter."

"But I loved him."

"And you can get over him easily."

"But it's not that easy."

"And why not? All you have to do is find a hot guy who can be just as pleasing as Potter. Or there is another option."

"Explain."

"Make him jealous. Get him to notice you."

"Are you volunteering?"

"No!! I wouldn't be caught dead with a Weasley. I'm just so bored today, so that's why I'm listening to your complaints."

"But why not? It can help you."

"And how is that?"

"Well, you can piss off Harry and my brother. Isn't that like your goal?"

"Well, now you've convinced me. I think I'll do it. I'll meet you on the train in a few weeks and I'll be owling you too. I expect a response every time."

"Ok Captain," she said while saluting him. "This will be fun." An evil grin was plastered on her face. One worthy of a Malfoy. Weird.
