"Excuse me?"

"Yes?"

"Um do you think you could show me how to um, get onto the platform?"

Her English was broken, her eyes cast downward, her hair curling slightly on her shoulders and falling into her face.

The 17 year old male had never met her, and was a bit suspicious, but told her how any way. He told her to walk straight at the brick wall and that her would follow after.

"Gratzia" (Thank you) she said in her native language.

She took a deep breath and walked swiftly towards the wall. As the platform materialized before her eyes, she gasped softly. "Magnificent, isn't it?" the same male voice said from behind.

"Beautiful, but not nearly as beautiful as home.." She said, smiling sadly.

"Where are you from anyway? I could trace your accent."

"Florence."

"Italy?"

"Ci."

Pretty little doe-eyed Italian girl. He thought.

They both boarded the train. He noticed that she kept a small messenger bag with her. They sat in an empty compartment.

"So you're a transfer?" he asked, wanting to know more about the girl.

"Ci. I am a seventh year, I believe. I am seventeen."

"Yes, you are then." She nodded. " I am too. Listen, I've got to go find a friend. Are you going to be okay?"

She smiled and nodded.

"Okay. If you need anything, My name's Oliver."

"Gratzia." She said. "I appreciate your help."

"It's nothing he said and smiled. He put his hand on her shoulder and winked. He grabbed his bag and walked down the hallway in search of Percy. He had to tell him about this girl! She was gorgeous, nice, and was going to need help learnin gthe ropes around Hogwarts. And who could help her better than a Quidditch captain, and his best friend, the Head Boy? Of course, he was going to ditch Percy for some 'quality time' with the new girl. One thing he forgot was... he never even caught her name.

"Damn."
