Author's Note:
Hey! I thought I write something a little different. You know... most of my stories are gory or sad, but I wrote a humor this time! YAY!

Boys and Girls

"Harry!" Ron bellowed as he ran through the Great Hall with what seemed to be a copy of the Daily Prophet in his hand. "Harry! You have to see this!" He hastily thrust the paper at Harry, who curiously took it.

Harry quickly scanned through the words of the article before his eyes grew to the size of large, ripe apples. He looked up at Ron, half bewildered, half excited.

"Ron! This is amazing! This is wonderful! I can't believe it!" he yelled, almost jumping with joy. Ron smiled widely and was about to say something, but Hermione and Ginny - who had been listening to the entire conversation - cut him off.

"What's wonderful?" Hermione asked.

"Yeah. Let us see!" Ginny ordered.

Ron and Harry smiled and handed the two girls the paper. They both read it carefully - starting with Hermione, who blankly handed it to Ginny - and handed it back to Ron saying only "Oh," though not with much enthusiasm.

"Oh?" Ron asked, annoyed. "Beauxbeaten wins the World Cup for the third consecutive time in a decade and all you can say is 'Oh'?"

"What is wrong with you!?!" Harry shouted, drawing attention from a few underclassmen.

"Nothing's wrong with us!" Hermione snapped back in resentment.

"We're very happy, really. It's just that..." Ginny stopped to think a minute, but Hermione finished for her.

"We're not as into Quidditch as you are."

"Exactly. So we don't get as excited."

"But you get excited when we win!" Harry protested.

"Yes. But that's our house. And we're actually there," Hermione would never explain why she really got excited when they won. She really just enjoyed watching Harry get excited about it.

Ron and Harry rolled their eyes.

"It's just about the same thing!" Ron shouted.

"Really! I don't know what their problem is," Harry agreed, though he said it more to himself than to anyone else.

Hermione and Ginny sighed and rolled their eyes. "Boys..."

At that moment, Lavander and Parvati rushed into the Great Hall carrying a magazine.

"Hermione! Ginny!" they yelled. "Look at this!" Lavander threw the magazine down on the table. The two girls read the ad that Lavander had pointed at and began squealing. Hermione quickly sucked down the remainder of her pumpkin juice and Ginny grabbed a muffin.

"We have to go!" they said before rushing off. "We'll be back by dinner!"

"Dinner?" Ron asked and checked his watch. "That's in eleven hours."

"What about lunch?" Harry asked. But, already running out of the Entrance Hall and onto the grounds, they couldn't hear him.

Ron and Harry stared, dumbfounded, at the entrance to the Great Hall until they heard Neville and Seamus, who had been listening to the entire conversation, snicker.

"Look at this..." Seamus said pointing to an ad in the magazine. Curiously, the two boys looked at the magazine space that Seamus was pointing to.
