Chapter One

George shifted slightly in his seat. "Alright, Ron. We're at this bloody match..."

"...Now give back the extendible ears you nicked from us or we'll let it on that you used them to overhear mum scolding Ginny the other night," Fred continued.

"Pipe down, you two. I'll hand them over once the match begins." Ron glanced around the quidditch field, eager for the Chudley Cannons to make their way onto the playing area. The air reflected the tenseness in his body, which was decked out in orange attire. He knew that his favorite team had rarely let him down, but the Kenmare Kestrels were a match in themselves.

"Excuse me! Pardon..." A short, blonde-haired witch shoved her way through the tightly packed aisle, trying to find the seats reserved for herself and her friend. She looked back at her friend, gripping onto the girl's arm as she made her way closer to Ron and the Weasley twins.

"Make way! Coming through!" shouted the young witch following behind her. She was roughly a foot taller than the former witch whom was two years her senior. The antsy girl crept through the seats as casually as possible, until she tripped over her own shoelace and fell face first into the ground. She jumped to her feet and tried to regain her composure, but her long brown hair was now sticking out in odd places. The older witch turned back to her friend, overtaken in her own laughter.

Fred and George exchanged amused glances, turning back to the commotion. Ron looked over at the two friends, staring at them with a look of alarm.

"Alright there?" Ron asked the two.

When she realized they were noticed, the blonde-haired witch turned to face Ron, her younger friend still in a struggle to adjust her hair (and regain her sanity).

"Sorry," she said, still a bit flabbergasted from her laughing-fit. She looked back to the younger witch, breathing in deeply and raising her eyebrows at the fact that they made such a show.

They began walking once more, and stopped abruptly. "Ah, here we are Megs! These are our seats..." said the blonde witch to her perplexed friend. To Fred and George's horror, the two took their seats right next to them.

After getting somewhat situated, the girls sat back. They were ready to see their team, the Kenmare Kestrels, destroy the Chudley Cannons.

"Hey, Megs," the blonde said, leaning forward to look at the brunette, "can I see those programs?"

"Sure!" said the so called 'Megs' and she leaned forward to retrieve her rather large bag from underneath her seat.

"Um, could you move you foot please?" the girl asked Fred as she tried to pull out her giant bag. He mumbled something and moved his foot. She set the large bag on her lap with a grunt and began riffling through it to find their programs.

"Here they are!" she exclaimed and yanked them out of the bag, accidentally elbowing Fred in the shoulder, who yelped in pain. George had to stifle a snicker as Fred massaged his shoulder.

"Oops, sorry," she mumbled and handed her friend the papers. "Here you go Audra."

The blonde shook her head and handed them back.

"I found mine, but thanks," she said and looked down at her program. Megs appeared mildly irritated as she put the papers back in her backpack and slid it under the seat.

"Hey Meghan... could you hand me those Omnioculars?" Audra asked, shifting in her seat restlessly.

Meghan made an exasperated noise as she dragged the backpack out from under her chair. She riffled through her backpack once more, taking longer this time to find what she seek. She passed the Omnioculars to Audra. She put them to her eyes and then handed them back.

"Here. Thanks, I just wanted to see what time it is on the scoreboard over there."

Meghan rolled her eyes and put them back in her bag. She placed her bag back under her chair and sat back.

"Hey Megs?" Audra began.

"No," Meghan said. Audra looked at her in surprise.

"What? I was just about to ask if you were ready for an Irish victory!" Audra replied, sounding slightly defensive.

"Oh, well, in that case, yes!"

Fred looked over at his twin with raised eyebrows. 'An Irish victory? You wish lady!' he thought and saw George's look that told him he agreed. Whether the twins were there on their own terms or not, they would still be supporting England all the way.

George leaned over to whisper to Fred, "They may be crazy, but that blonde is rather cute."

He grinned as Fred nodded his ascent and glanced over at the two girls next to him.

He leaned closer still and said, "I think this is going to be an interesting match, both on and off the field!"
