Not All Romances Are This Bad

Chapter 2

Why?

Several days had passed, Draco and Hermione's plan appeared to be working perfectly, but what Hermione didn't know was that Harry and Ginny had become suspicious of her behavior.

Hermione, Ron, Ginny, and Harry had recently arrived in the Gryffindor common room from dinner. The four of them were sitting around the common room fire. Ginny was in Harry's lap, kissing him. Ron was still getting used to his best friend dating his baby sister so he was facing the other direction studying with Hermione.

"I'm going to the library. I'll be back in a couple hours," announced Hermione to the other three.

"Okay Mione," Ron said.

That was Harry and Ginny's cue to go to his dormitory and retrieve his invisibility cloak. They put the cloak over them in the dormitory so Ron wouldn't stop them on the count off him thinking they were going to a broom closet.

"Harry lets hurry, Hermione is way ahead of us. We might lose her trail," whispered Ginny.

"Don't worry, we will not lose her and we will find out where she has been going these past few days," Harry reassured Ginny.

"Okay," whispered Ginny.

After a few minutes of following Hermione, Ginny and Harry knew she was not headed for the library.

"Harry... do you know where we are following Hermione to because I do," said Ginny.

"Yeah, I know," answered Harry. "But why would she going to the Astronomy tower when Ron is back in the common room."

"Do you think she is cheating on Ron?"

Let's not think the worst, we know Hermione would never do that to Ron...." said Harry, not knowing if he was reassuring Ginny or himself.

"Hello my love, I thought you wouldn't be coming to see me tonight," said Draco and greeted Hermione with a long passionate kiss.

"I'm sorry but I was with Ron, Ginny, and Harry. I couldn't leave right after dinner," said Hermione.

"You mean Weasel, Potty, and Weaselette right."

"Don't call them that, they're my friends," Hermione warned Draco.

"Sorry."

"Draco, I think Harry and Ginny are getting suspicious. One of these days they might follow me up here."

"Don't think about that Hermione. Now, I've been a good boy and I want my prize," said Draco with a small sly smile, then pulled Hermione into an embrace and gave a passionate kiss.

Harry and Ginny had seen enough. They had entered the Astronomy tower and had placed themselves in a corner so Hermione and more importantly Draco wouldn't bump into them accidently.

"Harry, I can't believe Hermione is cheating on my brother with....Malfoy. What happened to the wise and kind Hermione," exclaimed Ginny.

Ginny and Harry were back up in his dormitory. They thought they were hallucinating when they saw Hermione and Draco kissing up in the Astronomy tower. They left as soon as possible because they hated the sight (and were disgusted).

"You know what this means right. We need to tell Ron what we saw," said Harry to Ginny. "I just hope they can just solve their problems without someone getting hurt."

"Okay, so problem solved. I'm going to my dormitory to get some sleep," said Ginny, yawning.

Ginny walked towards the door but never got there, Harry had reached out his hand and grabbed her hand and turned her around.

"Wait," Harry said, astonished that Ginny was ready to leave without kissing him.

"What is it Harry," asked Ginny.

"You haven't kissed me yet."

"Sorry," Ginny said. She then placed her lips against Harry's. Harry snaked his arms around Ginny's waist and pulled her onto his bed. When they were relaxed, Ginny moved her hands, which were around his neck, to ruffle and mess with his jet black hair. She just loved to mess with his hair, it was so untamed and messy. Harry moved his hands up and down Ginny's backside. They would have gone further but Ron, accompanied by Neville and Seamus had entered the dormitory and began whistling. Well Seamus and Neville were, not Ron.

"Oi Ginny, get out of here. If you didn't know, this is the guys' dormitory; the girls' dormitory is on the other side. And I dont want you kissing my baby sister in public Harry," hissed Ron.

"Ron you are such a hypocrite and I am well aware that I am in the boys' dormitory! Harry and I were not kissing in public," screamed Ginny at Ron. "You are such a prat, you can't tell me or Harry what to do, you know that and I will not leave until I finish kissing Harry."

Then, without warning, Ginny put her arms around Harry's neck and kissed him passionately. Harry thought Ginny's lips tasted like butterscotch. Ron was so angry he ran up to Professor McGonagall's office and demanded that she him get Ginny out of the dormitory.

When they arrived, Harry and Ginny were gone.

"What are you talking about Mr. Weasley, Ms.Weasley is not up here. If you do not mind, I'm going back to my quarters. Goodnight Mr. Longbottom, Mr. Finnigan, And Mr.Weasley," said Professor McGonagall.

After she left Ron began searching for Harry's map that he had received from Fred and George three years ago. When he found what he was looking for, he searched Harry and Ginny.

"What's that," asked Neville.

"Nothing," snapped Ron.

"I've got you know," thought Ron. "But why are you two in a broom closet? You must really like to test me don't you," Ron thought sarcastically.

"Ginny we should go back to the common room and find Ron. He must be looking for us."

"Don't worry Harry, its not like Ron can find us here," whispered Ginny.

"Uhh...yes he can. Ron knows how to use the Marauder's Map," whispered Harry.

"Damn. Let's get out of here, but just one more kiss," Ginny said.

Harry then placed his lips on Ginny's soft lips passionately but after five short seconds, the door burst open.

"Why do you too do this to me, do you like getting me angry?" hissed Ron and took out his wand, but was to slow for Harry...
