The Fifth House

Fred and George Weasley had been wandering the halls of Hogwarts one blustery fall morning when they came upon a door they had never seen before. This door only appeared certain times during the day, though they didn't know it, and the twins saw it only because they had skipped Transfiguration.

Curious, they opened the door. They found an extremely dusty and antediluvian corridor. There were a few wall hangings, of people who looked as if they were perpetually asleep.

The two explored the hidden hallway. They found doors leading to what may have once been a dormitory, as they contained beds and wardrobes. They also saw a sitting area that may have once been a common room.

The oddest thing they found was an antique book in the drawer of a desk. This book contained a rather interesting history. It read:

The Archy House was added as a fifth house in the year 1273, when Hogwarts enrollment began to increase rapidly after the Dark Lord Naitsirhc was defeated. Headmaster Arc Archy gave its members the characteristics of queasy stomachs. He was considered a genius, and was able to reconfigure the Sorting Hat to work an additional house into its prerequisites for sorting.

In the year 1327, however, headmistress Hedwig Calbert eliminated the house as a part of Hogwarts, because more students were sorted into it than the other four houses combined. No first years have been sorted into the Archy House sine 1326.

Some famous families that have had members in the Archy House include the Potter, Longbottom, Bones, McCourt, and Malfoy dynasties.

Seeing the last sentence, Fred and George laughed hysterically. In the future, however, they saw the former Archy house as a prime place to invent pranks and other such items. The Archy House became the first capital of Weasley Wizard Wheezes.
