In this chapter, Ron tries to deal with Hermione's revelation that he is the father of her child. They share a "talk" over the situation until Ron fears what his new girlfriend, Miranda, might think. With Ron explaining things to Miranda, Hermione catches up with Harry.

Hermione has a heated talk with Miranda about the situation and with a little help from Ginny, things start to look brighter.

While pushing Hannah on her swing, Ron comes outside for a chat.
