- Hey! I'm finally posting the next chapter to this story. I know it's been a long time, but I was busy and having a hard time deciding between two ideas for the story. Anyways I want to thank everyone who reviewed and encouraged me to continue. Your opinion really matters to me a lot. Enough talk, go read my story and review please!
Ginny stood rooted in the spot where she stood. She still hadn't regained feeling in her legs and her arms were trembling. She brought a finger to her lips, the feeling of his lips on hers was still lingering. The rest of her body was numb but her brain was still on fire. She kept asking herself why she let him kiss her, and why she didn't pull away from him. Suddenly reality checked in when she heard a bunch of students walking down the hallway. She remembered she had to get back to the common room; her friends would be worried about her. She willed her legs to move and slowly but surely they complied. She then went off at a run to Gryffindor tower.
She reached Gryffindor with little incident and walked into the common room. Harry, Ron, and Hermione stood walked over to greet her.
"Hey Gin, where were you?" Ron asked.
"Yea, it's not like you to be running around the halls late at night," Harry said walking over and placing his arm around her shoulder.
Ginny stuttered trying to think of a good excuse and said, "Well you see, I had to stop at the library to umm, return a book that I took out," she smiled stupidly, hoping nobody would notice her blatant lie.
Harry and Ron took that as a good enough excuse and went to sit back down on the couch. But Hermione, who was always the more perceptive of the two, looked at Ginny suspiciously.
"Ginny, is there something you want to tell me?"
Ginny looked down at the floor. Hermione was her best friend, but there are just some things you don't tell people, and this was one of them. She could just imagine the look of horror on her friend's face if she told her she was just snogging with Draco Malfoy.
"No, nothing at all," replied Ginny innocently. Hermione still looked a little suspicious, but accepted her answer as the truth, and headed back to the couch to sit with Ron. Ginny couldn't believe that she had just lied to her best friend. Not only that, but also to her boyfriend, and to her brother.
Filled with shame Ginny headed over to one of the large, overstuffed couches and sat next to Harry. He put his arm around her and she relaxed into him. She needed to try and forget what just happened. Thoughts though, came unbidden into her head again. All she could think about was that kiss, as brief as it was, she couldn't stop thinking about it. She realized Harry was talking to her again and she tried to talk back, mainly to distract herself. There was still though, that nagging at the back of her head that wouldn't leave her alone.
----------------------------
Draco lay sprawled out on his bed thinking over the events that had just taken place. He didn't exactly know why he had kissed her; all he knew was that he definitely didn't regret it. He smiled thinking about the look on her face... complete and utter shock. Then there was also the fact that she had responded to the kiss which had him equally shocked, though he didn't let it show. He flipped over to lie on his stomach, his head resting on his arms exhaling loudly. He had put himself in quite a predicament.
Suddenly a thought occurred to him. He jumped out of his bed realizing the golden opportunity that was right in front of him. This was his chance to beat Potter! To get revenge on the one person on this earth that he completely loathed. The plan was already starting to form in his mind. It was quite simple in theory actually. All he had to do was put on the Malfoy charm and con the girl into believing that he actually liked her. Once that was accomplished he would get her into bed with him, and then break the news to Potter. He could just imagine Potter's face when he found out that his innocent, sweet girlfriend wasn't that at all.
He fell back onto his bed landing with a thud. He couldn't have planned anything more perfectly. He might actually enjoy this. The Weasley girl wasn't half bad looks wise at least. No, Ginny that's her name he thought. He would have to earn her trust in a way if this was going to work. He laughed to himself. Finally Potter was going to lose and he would be the winner. While he was congratulating himself on his sheer brilliance Blaisewalked in and stood in front of him.
"What are you doing up here?" Blaise asked.
Draco looked at Blaise, his only friend in Slytherin. They were the Slytherin hot throbs, as most of the girls classified them. Blaisewas the dark, mysterious, broody one, while Draco was the smooth and sexy guy. He was his partner in crime and his only confident in the house.
Draco contemplated over whether or not he should tell him about his plan. Blaise hated Harry just as much as he did, and could be helpful in playing out his plan. Yes, he thought, I will tell him.
"Blaise, I've got an interesting idea that I think you would like to hear about," Draco said. Blaise raised his eyebrows with a look of surprise, but interested let him tell him his plan.
Blaise thought for a moment and said, "It is an interesting idea, wonderfully evil, and just crazy enough to work, but are you sure you could get her to fall for you?"
"Come on Blaise, you are looking at the Slytherin sex god here. You know she won't be able to resist my charm," Blaise laughed at his arrogance and Draco joined in with him. "Revenge is definitely sweet," Draco said.

Ginny hadn't talked to Draco in over a week, but just because she didn't talk to him didn't mean she didn't see him. He was everywhere she went. She would go to the library, and he was there. She would go outside and he would be there. She would be heading towards a class and there he would be waiting, with that defiant smirk of his plastered onto his face. She was late for most of her classes now, because she had to start using different routes to get to them. She was trying as hard as she could to avoid Draco at all costs.
She kept on telling herself over and over again that it was just a stupid kiss, but she couldn't let it go. Seeing Draco everywhere she went wasn't helping the fact either. She was right now sitting in a secluded part of the library, trying as hard as she could to avoid everyone, she just need some time to think and sort out her emotions. She felt awful because she had been ignoring Harry for the past couple of days. She could tell he was upset and worried about her, but she couldn't face him at the moment. She put her head in her hands and closed her eyes trying to clear her thoughts.
"What are you doing Ginny?"
Ginny shot her head up and looked in the direction the voice came from. She wanted to scream. The one person she was trying hardest to avoid was standing right in front of her. He was leaning against the bookcase with his arms crossed on his chest. His hair was falling in his face, causing shadows to play across his features.
"Malfoy go away, I don't want to talk to you," Ginny said swallowing hard. She got up readying herself to leave, but he maneuvered himself in front of her, successfully blocking her exit.
"Aww Ginny I'm hurt, don't you like me?" he said with a smile playing across his lips. She looked away in defeat. He had her trapped again. Draco had a look of triumph on his face.
"Why do you keep following me?" she blurted out.
Draco laughed. "Me, follow you? What would give you that idea Ginny?"
She was starting to get angry, causing her face to flush. "What do you mean? Everywhere I go you're there. Why won't you just leave me alone?"
"No need to get so upset, Gin," he said taking a step closer to her, cornering her against the wall. "Ginny," he breathed. "You know what you want, why don't you let yourself have it?"
He leaned in closer to her, making her breath come it short gasps. He brought his hand up and gently cupped her face in his hands, then kissed her. He kissed her passionately, deepening the kiss, causing her to moan in his mouth. Her hands reached up and tangled in his hair, and his arms snaked around her back pulling her closer to him. Her mind was once again screaming at her, telling her to stop, to think about Harry and his feelings. Finally common sense kicked in. She pulled away, pushing Malfoy away from her. She had to pause for a minute to catch her breath. She looked up and glared evilly at him, her face cherry red.
"I don't know what games you're playing Malfoy, but I don't want any part in them." Ginny stormed away from the library while Malfoy was still trying to catch his breath. Blaisewalked over from the shadow he had been standing in and smiled to Draco who smirked and said, "See, I told you she wouldn't be able to resist."
---------------------------------------
Ginny stormed outside absolutely furious. What was wrong with her? She was so angry she wanted to cry. She finally had everything she wanted in life, and then Malfoy comes along and ruins it all for her. And why her she wondered? He could have any girl in the school he wanted, so why her? She let out a frustrated cry. This just wasn't fair. The worst part of it though; which she couldn't even admit to herself, was that she actually enjoyed the kiss. She couldn't consider this thought, she had to remember Harry. She then remember something else, he called her Ginny not Weasley.
Before she could think too much on that last thought, she heard her name being called. Thinking it was Malfoy she turned to yell at him to leave her alone, but instead she saw Harry running after her. She let herself relax a little as Harry caught up with her.
"Ginny, I've been looking for you all day, where have you been?"
"I was just in the library," she replied.
"Oh," was all that Harry said. He wasn't sure how to act around her anymore. She seemed so out of it lately he was starting to worry about her.
"Ginny...Harry...," they both said at the same time.
Harry looked at Ginny, she looked different to him. It was something in the way she acted now. The nervous shuffling of her feet, the way she was always looking behind her back as if she was expecting someone to jump her. She looked unsure about something. Then without warning she blurted out, "Harry kiss me."
Completely shocked Harry stood there for a second just staring at her. This was definitely not the Ginny he knew, but he wouldn't pass up an opportunity to kiss her, so he leaned in and captured her lips with his. She kissed him passionately, almost fiercely. They had never kissed like this before. Ginny was being so bold. She was kissing him like she would never see him again. They pulled apart, both of them gasping for breath.
Ginny couldn't believe what she just did. Where did this sudden streak of boldness come from? That kiss wasn't just for fun though, she needed that kiss. She had been looking for something in Harry, and to her dismay she didn't find it. What she was looking for she didn't really know, all she knew was that it wasn't there. She looked at Harry who was staring at her in amazement. He took her hand in his and together they walked back into Hogwarts. All the while in the back of Ginny's mind she kept on hearing Draco's voice saying, "Now tell me, does Potter make you feel this way?"
