Seeing all the nice supplies that Lily got for her school made Petunia all the more excited for her turn to go to Hogwarts. The magic Petunia saw at Diagon Alley had been so... magical. There was really no other way to describe it. Petunia couldn't wait for her part of that world to come about.

The following weeks, the two sisters spent all their days together, making the best of their time before they needed to part. This separation would be terribly hard for the both of them.

Finally, September 1st came. The family made their way to Kings Cross Station and Platform 9 and ¾, where the Hogwarts Express was waiting to take students to Hogwarts. The sisters' time together was drawing to a close. The train was scheduled to leave in less than 10 minutes. Lily pulled Petunia into a giant hug. "I promise I will write, sis. I will miss you so much!"

Petunia returned the hug. "I'll miss you too! Have fun, and don't forget to tell me everything!"

Lily gave one last hug to her parents, said goodbye, and went on through the platform. The Evans family waited until 5 after, to make sure there were no problems. Lily never came back through the platform. After a deep sigh, Paul motioned for his family to leave. Petunia looked back. Lily was really gone.

*******

Petunia was lost without Lily around. Luckily, it wasn't long until Lily sent her first owl to her sister.

Hey Petunia!!

I'm here at Hogwarts (but you know that!) It's really amazing here, you wouldn't believe it! They have this hat called the sorting hat that puts you into one of the four houses. I've gotten into Gryffindor, which I've heard is the best place to be. Hopefully when you get here, we will be in Gryffindor together. I'm sure we'd be in the same house, I can't see why not. I can't wait to learn some magic. I've been looking over my books, and some of these spells look fun. I'll have to show you sometime. I've met a lot of friendly people here, I think I'm going to have some great friends. Oh, I miss you so much Petunia!! I honestly can't stand waiting an entire year for you to get here. I've told all my new friends about you, and they're excited for your arrival next year as well. I hope that your studies are going well! Miss you!!! Say hello to Mum and Dad for me!

Love Always, Lily

After what seemed like an eternity, Lily's Christmas holiday came. Finally the two sisters were together again. Lily ran over and grabbed Petunia into a huge hug when she came through the platform. Lily missed Hogwarts, of course, but she had her great life, and of course her sister, back in the Muggle world.

Their relationship was still as strong as ever. Lily and Petunia talked about Hogwarts together more than any other topic. Petunia wanted to be filled in about everything that went on there. She was very anxious for her own 11th birthday, which was coming up in a few months. Finally she would be able to see everything Lily had described, meet the people Lily went on about, and most importantly - make her parents proud. They had been so proud of Lily getting her letter, they would certainly be thrilled when Petunia got hers. Petunia promised herself that she would study hard and be at the top of her year!

Christmas break went by so quickly, and it was time for the girls to separate once again. They were of course sad to leave each other, but knew they would keep in touch. It wouldn't be too long until Petunia got her letter, they both thought. Soon they would be shopping in Diagon Alley together for next years supplies...

Author notes: I'm SO sorry that it has taken forever to get more of this story out. I was away at school, had a bad internet connection, and was just plain driving myself crazy with schoolwork. Yay for summer vacation! =) Enjoy! Please read and review!
