Draco ran his finger along the mahogany bookcase in the manor's study. He had no idea what type of book he was looking for, but he had a craving to cause chaos. He wanted to do something really bad, something worse than making pins and hexes, much worse.
Draco suddenly felt a jolt of pain in his index finger. He pulled it away from the shelf and looked at its bleeding tip. He quickly stuck it in his mouth, tasting the drips of blood, and looked at the book which had caused him pain. It was a leather book with a riveted binding on it and a gigantic lock. He gently took it off the shelf and examined it more closely. It was thick and really heavy, and the title was in a fainted silver leaf.
"Love Potions and Lust Poisons," Draco read out loud and a smirk spread across his pale face. This was exactly what he was looking for.
He tugged at the lock and to his surprise it opened easily. The pages were well worn and yellowing and the first page was ripped completely in half. Draco looked longingly at each potion that was listed as he went down the table of Contents. He picked out a few that looked promising and then searched for them in the book.
The first one had ingredients that were impossible to obtain. The next one was for human/animal relationships. And as he looked for the third one something caught his attention.
"Yours Until I Die," he muttered the title. "Category: Lust Poison. This poison will reduce even the most intelligent person to crave the maker of the potion to please their deepest, darkest desires. Their lust towards you will keep getting stronger until the thirteenth night when the poison will take place."
Draco looked up, happy with the possibility this poison had. It was discreet, all the person had to do was touch the potion for it to work, it was easy to make, and it had a perfect reaction. Now all he had to do was choose a victim.

Draco walked into Potions, the first class he had coming back from winter break. He had a paper crane carefully placed in the bottom of his cauldron; it had been dipped in the Lust Poison the night before. As he took his seat in the dungeons he noticed Hermione Granger sitting at the table next to him. Perfect.
Draco quickly wrapped his right hand up with a piece of cloth he found in his bag and carefully picked up the crane.
"Hey, Granger," he called and then blew the beautifully crafted crane into the air.
She looked at the crane, as it landed in front of her, with scorn.
"Hey, ferret head," yelled Ron defensively, "hit on someone who hasn't got a boyfriend."
Ron clasped a hand on Hermione's shoulder and the both of them looked back at him scathingly. Hermione picked up the bird and crumpled it in her fist, then got up and tossed it in the dustbin at the front of the classroom.
Perfect.
After the double potions was over, while both Harry and Ron were telling Professor Snape why their potion had gone horribly awry, Draco seized the moment.
"Hey Granger?" He got up and stood next to Hermione, towering about a foot over her.
"Yes?" she said snidely.
"After dinner would you care to accompany me for a walk?"
Draco could see the hate burning in her eyes. He knew exactly what was going through her mind. "I hate Malfoy, why would I ever accompany him anywhere? I have a boyfriend, Ron. Why am going to say yes?"
"Okay," she finally said slowly.
Draco just nodded and left. It was all coming together.

He stood there waiting outside the Great Hall doors for Hermione to come out. He knew she had seen him leave, she kept looking up every so often to see him during dinner. This was turning out brilliantly. Soon one more filthy little Mudblood would bite the dust, and in the meanwhile Draco could fool around with her a bit.
Hermione came outside of the hall, her face freshly made up, but she looked quite timid, possibly afraid of what she was feeling. Draco put out his right arm.
"Shall we?"
She obediently took it and they both walked out of the school and onto the grounds.
It was a brisk night and there was a light dusting of snow on the ground. Hermione slightly surprised Draco as she clutched his arm a little tighter.
"It's a bit cold out, don't you think?" she said quietly.
Draco wrapped his arms around her.
"Better?" he asked.
"Mmmm, much," Hermione said, closing her eyes.
They were in the dimly lit Hogwarts courtyard. There was a great fountain in the center. The warm water from it created a thick steam. There were a few stone benches scattered around the fountain where Draco decided to take a seat.
Hermione curled up in his cloak and clutched his tie, all the while breathing her warm breath on his cool neck. A very little part of him felt that this was wrong, but when she looked into his eyes with her own innocent brown ones, everything that was going through his mind came to a halt. She leaned in cautiously almost unmoving, but suddenly his eyes were closed and he could feel her lips touching his.
They were in perfect sync; Hermione still had one hand clutched to his tie while the other was gripping the back of his cloak. He pulled her even closer, wanting to taste her cool breath.
She suddenly broke away and clasped her mouth in shock. Draco just simply licked his lips.
"I have no idea, what made me do that," she said, out of breath. "Ron and I haven't even done that."
He could see the tears of confusion well up in her eyes. With one last gasp she turned and ran towards the castle, while Draco just sat there recalculating what just happened.

Draco and Hermione met like that every night, slowly holding less back and unable to distinguish what was right and wrong. Draco's morale was slowly becoming cockier, as he was in his earlier years, and Hermione's grades were slowly falling. She was still a bit reluctant towards her newfound desires, but once she was with Draco all feelings of doubt were gone.
On the twelfth night, as the two of them where heading out to the courtyard, Hermione had something clutched in her hand. Draco looked at it; it seemed to be a piece of paper. When she saw him looking at it a wide smile spread across her face. She sat down on the edge of the fountain and handed him the paper, still smiling. He took it and to his shock it was a test, a huge red "F" on the top of it. He recognized it as the Transfiguration test they had taken a week earlier; Transfiguration was one of Hermione's top classes. He looked back up at her, still stunned by the grade.
"First failing test ever," she said lightheartedly, while taking off her heavy cloak. But she didn't stop at that, she continued by taking off her shoes and socks and the Gryffindor sweater and tie.
Draco, taken aback by the test, took a little longer to figure out what she was hinting at. But as if to make up for what he missed he fiercely leaned forward to kiss her. He missed.
They both went straight into the fountain, Draco on top. When Hermione came up from the water she smiled seductively at the position they were in, though all he could stare at was her shirt. It clung to her frame, sopping wet and slightly translucent, as white shirts became when wet. He could hardly wait for the thirteenth day, when even the white shirt would be tossed away.
Hermione gripped his shoulders and licked the edge of his ear playfully and slowly made her way down to his neck, where she rolled down his turtleneck, which reviled a row of red spots from the night before. Draco wrapped his arms around her even though the fountain was quite warm. He laid his head on top of hers, taking in the fragrant smell of her hair. He closed his eyes and subconsciously thought of their future that they could have, after Hogwarts. The unsnapping of buttons on his shirt brought him back to reality.
This wasn't Hermione. This was a potion. She would never have been caught dead doing this. She wouldn't have gotten an F on any of her tests. She wouldn't cheat on Ron. And she surely wouldn't have been trying to seduce Draco Malfoy of all people. A sudden and surprising sadness overwhelmed him, he pushed Hermione back a little and took her hands away from him.
"Stop," he said firmly, determined not to let any of his dejection show. She looked back up at him with a pair of brown eyes.
On the outside she looked up at him with a look that was saying, "Why are you telling me to stop? Don't you like it?" But on the inside, Draco knew but didn't want to accept, she was saying, "Can I go back now?"

"Now I know you've all working hard on your Illegal Potions paper," said Snape as the class came to an end.
The bell rang and everyone hurried as fast as they could out of the depressing potions dungeon. Draco packed his things a little slower than everyone else did. Once everyone left he picked up the list Snape gave them of the potions they could write about and went up to where the teacher was cleaning off his desk.
"Uh, Professor?"
"Oh, hello Mr. Malfoy. What can I do for you?" said Snape with no emotion.
"So on my paper I'm writing about Lust Poisons-"
"Probably the largest branch of Illegal Potions, and the most widespread."
"Yes, sir, I know, sir. And there was a particular Potion that I thought captured the essence of the Lust Poison, the 'Yours Until I Die' poison-"
"Oh yes," a smile spread across Snape's cold face, "I would agree with you there Mr. Malfoy. Most Wizards put on trial for using a Lust Poison used that one because it is so easily recognized."
"It is, sir?" Draco tried to hide his fear.
"Oh yes, all of a sudden a pretty witch or handsome wizard is following around this other guy. They're found sleeping with each other and the next day they are dead. I would say it's more than a freak accident."
He never thought of this.
"So did I answer your question?"
"Not quite, sir," said Draco. "Is there a antidote?"

It was the thirteenth night and Hermione took Draco to the Room of Requirement as a "surprise". She opened the door and they entered a small, dimly lit room with a pile of cushions in the corner. Hermione motioned for him to sit down on them and he did. She straddled over him and began, slowly, to take off her clothes. And there she stood in front of him completely topless, what he had wanted. She began to take off her skirt, but he couldn't take it.
"Stop," he said quietly, reaching out to touch her arm. "You can't do this, you don't want this."
He picked up her bra off the floor and handed it to her, she needed to stay the way she was. He couldn't take advantage of her.
"Sit," he said and she did so. "This is a potion. You don't really want to do all this with me. But, I can't take it off, and you're going to die."
"What?" her words came out in barely a whisper.
"It's true."
They both sat there in silence for a long time, but all of a sudden Hermione came forward with full force and kissed Draco. It caught him off guard, and this kiss was different. It felt like it had more meaning. It had more depth. She pulled away and he opened his eyes to find her lying motionless on the cushions in front of him. He could tell that she was dead.
Draco got up and took one last look at her and left the room.
