It had been thirteen years, thirteen long years since she had seen the brilliance of those stunning silver eyes; those eyes that instantly pierced her thoughts and made her blood run hot with a fiery passion of lust and love entwined together to form one emotion so strong it could stop a woman's heart instantly. And oh those eyes, how they made her melt.
She remembered how he looked, never the less how good his body looked with the graduation robes of Slytherin house sticking to his sexy lean body. The day had been one of the hottest in the year, and, due to a certain giant brother, the Great Hall had been closed for the day and the graduation ceremonies forced outside onto the school grounds. Professor Dumbledore called each graduating student up in alphabetical order, the same order they had been in on their first day of Hogwarts, shook their hand and sent them off towards Professor McGonagall who also shook their hand and then gave them a rough looking, rolled up piece of parchment that said one word across the top: Diploma.
That ceremony had been very hard for Ginny because she knew what would follow graduation and she knew what would have to be done.
"Ginny I want you to know that I will always love you no matter what happens after graduation." Ginny looked away from him, not wanting Draco to see the tears in her eyes for she knew what was coming next.
"Don't say this please. I don't want to know what is going to happen and I don't want to know what you think you have to do. You don't have to do anything Draco, why do you let him control you like this?"
"He's my father Ginny, and because of our relations I must be the one to stop him; there is no one else; no one closer then I am to him." He turned from her and began to walk away.
"If you leave me now Draco Malfoy, right here, right now like you are planning to then don't you dare come back or even talk to me ever again because I am not going to waste away the remainder of my life waiting for you." He stopped and stood in the shadow of the Whomping Willow for a few seconds then turned and said the words that Ginny had dreaded him replying with:
"Fine Then. Good-bye."
Soon after graduation there had been a terrible out break of war between the "purebloods" that wanted to rid the wizarding world of muggle-borns and those who did not. The outcome had been obvious since before the war had even begun; the side with the muggle-borns won. Unfortunately for Ginny the only news dealing with the name Malfoy was that of a group of muggle-born rebels who had burned the manor to the ground. Soon after, Ginny had forgotten about Draco and moved on with her life, believing that Draco had perished during the war and nothing more. Thirteen years later, Ginny had long forgotten about those piercing eyes, that is she had until she received that first green letter in her postbox on the thirteenth anniversary of his graduation.
