Chapter 1 - Appointment

Dear Diary,

Sitting wide-awake while everyone else is asleep is weird, I guess I'm just used to being at the Weasleys', it's just so different here. Tomorrow is Harry's birthday so Ginny, Draco, Sirius, Narcissa and I have something special planed.

I can still remember the day Pettigrew and Malfoy died, therefore freeing Sirius. I still can't believe that Narcissa Malfoy is really very nice and that she and Sirius used to go out in school.

Harry didn't seam too happy about the living arrangements when Narcissa and Sirius got together. Harry and Draco having to share a room together. They still are in the same room, and they do act like brothers.

At least we all survived the year. The final battle wiped out about two thirds of the wizard population, including Dumbledore and Ron. McGonagall and Snape had a good idea, putting all the remaining students into the one house. There will only be about sixty or seventy students at school in the next term and I'll be in seventh year. I love the name of the house though, Amity.

'Hermione,' Ginny said softly into her roommate's ear. 'Hermione!' She said a little louder. A knock on the door made Ginny spin around, she walked over to the door and opened it. Draco and Harry stood on the landing.

'Are you two almost ready for brunch?' Harry said as he passed a glass of orange juice to Ginny.

'No, Hermione's not even up yet,' Ginny said.

'Let us try,' Draco said as he placed two glasses of orange juice on a table, Harry handed his glass to Ginny.

They crept over to the bed and stood on either side. Draco nodded at Harry. They both lent down and yelled in Hermione's ears.

'Wake Up!'

'What?' Hermione said as she sat up startled.

'It's time for food,' Harry said.

'Why the hell did you just yell in my ear!'

'To wake you up,' Draco said sweetly.

'Well it worked.'

'You guys had better get out so Hermione can get dressed,' Ginny said pointedly.

'I don't mind,' Draco said with a sneer.

'Well the boyfriend does,' Harry replied. 'How would you feel if I told you that I told Ginny I wanted to watch her undress?'

'OK,' Draco said. 'I get your point.'

'Let us depart from this humble chamber so mine lady fair may become presentable,' Harry said as he pushed Draco out of the door.

'Your boyfriend just gets weirder and weirder,' Ginny said as she shook her head.

'I know,' Hermione replied. 'But I still love him.'

'Pass the butter,' Narcissa said as she picked up a knife.

'Sorry I'm late,' Hermione said as she rushed onto the patio.

'That's quite all right dear,' Narcissa said. 'What do you want to drink?'

'Um...coffee, black coffee please,' Hermione said as she took a seat next to Harry.

Sirius waved his wand over an empty mug and muttered a short spell. The mug filled with the dark brown liquid known as coffee.

'Thanks,' Hermione said as she picked up the mug and took a sip.

'Now that we're are all here I can make my announcement,' Sirius said. 'As we know, today is the birthday of a special person. We all know who that special person is. Harry, you are now seventeen, as privilege Narcissa, Draco, Hermione, Ginny and I have decided that you can choose something to do today.'

'Anything?' Harry asked.

'Anything,' Narcissa said with a smile.

'Can we go to a Muggle amusement park?' Harry said after a moment of thought.

'Anyone on earth,' Sirius said. 'Even if it's in somewhere like Russia or Poland.'

'I remember seeing an advert for one on a television once,' Harry said. 'It was called something like World Studios or something. It was in Florida'

'Universal Studios!' Hermione supplied. 'That place amazing! I went there when I was seven, nine and ten years old.'

'Universal Studios it is then!' Sirius said. 'We'll go tomorrow. Narcissa, dear, we have to go and get the tickets for the park at a Muggle travel agents, we'll got this afternoon. Is that OK?'

'Yes,' Narcissa replied.

'What time is it?' Draco asked.

'Twenty minutes past eleven,' Ginny said after she had checked her watch.

'I'm off then,' Draco said as he stood up. 'I have homework to do with Blaise. He sent me an owl last night.'

'Just be back by four o'clock,' Narcissa called after him.
