A scream echoed in her ears as she looked into his hollow eyes. Her breath caught in her throat as she felt his cold hand slip from hers. The world had come to an abrupt halt and her heart beat stopped. His black hair had fallen across his face covering his scar as his green eyes starred out at her with a look of emptiness. She could not believe that it had only been moments ago when he had proposed to her. Tears filled her eyes as she grasped his hand tightly and squeezed it as if that would bring him back to her. She could not believe that it had only been moments ago when she had felt happier than she had ever in her entire life, and now she felt like dying.

The war against Voldemort had been going on for two years now. Ginny Weasley had finally graduated from Hogwarts and had been looking forward to a future beyond those walls. Harry Potter had been counting down the days until he finally fought Voldemort and killed him once and for all, and he did. Things could not have seemed more perfect at the moment. He had looked down at Voldemort's dead body with a smile of triumph and had raced back to his dear Ginny to tell her the good news. It was early morning and the sun had only just begun to take its journey into the sky. A heavy mist covered the earth as Harry raced into his home to find Ginny sound asleep in their bed.

Harry had looked down at her with more joy and a feeling of complete happiness than he had ever felt in his entire life. He pulled a diamond ring from his pocket--something he had carried around with him lately, waiting for the right moment to give her--and woke her. Everything seemed to stop for a moment as she accepted with a cry of joy as she leapt into his arms. Their happiness was short lived however, when ten Death Eaters entered the room with a cry of fury as they pulled their wands on Harry. Harry pushed Ginny away from harm as a green light hit him square in the chest. Harry Potter, the boy who had lived, was dead before he hit the floor.

Ginny looked up at the man holding tightly onto a wand still pointed at Harry. She met his cold grey eyes and looked into hers with contempt. Ginny ran to Harry side and cried and screamed as she looked to all of the faces that were looking at her with smiles of satisfaction covering their dark faces.

"Hello Weasley," a deep voice drawled as Draco Malfoy took a step towards her. Ginny looked away from Harry and searched the room for her wand, but could not find it. "You do not know how long I have waited for this day. True, it was too late to save The Dark Lord, but now I find myself in the head of power. I am his successor!" Malfoy said with pride. Ginny's eyes were filled with tears as she held onto Harry's lifeless hand.

"I am the one who killed the famous Harry Potter," Draco continued on as the Death Eaters behind him left the room. Ginny watched each one go until the sound of the door slamming shut brought her back to reality as she confronted Malfoy.

"I am now the most powerful man alive!" He shouted with furry. Ginny was unsure of this sudden anger erupting from him. "I will have no weaknesses. I will be invincible. I will not be conquered by some fucking baby!" He screamed as he looked down at Harry's body. "I will never die like the Dark Lord did. I will never been weak. And I will not keep myself alone like he did." Draco suddenly turned to Ginny. "He kept only to himself. He never shared anything with anyone! He was always alone! Even me! He kept everything from me! His successor!" Draco roared.

"Well I won't. I refuse to remain lonely. No, I have decided to take a bride. Can you guess who?" He asked as his eyes roamed over Ginny's body. Ginny had a very bad feeling about what he was to say next. Draco's eyes rested on the small diamond ring that was still clinging onto Ginny's finger.

"I have decided, who better than to marry the fiancée of the deceased Harry Potter. After all, you are a pure blood, even if your family are blood traitors. I need heirs and you will give them to me. You are to never mention Potter's name ever again." Draco said calmly as he grabbed Ginny's arm and pulled her to her feet. She had not get regained her strength in her legs and buckled against Draco's body. He laughed a cruel deep evil laugh as he waved his wand and retrieved Ginny's wand. "I think I will be holding onto this for a little while." Draco told her as he pocketed her wand and pulled her from the room. Ginny struggled against his strong grip as she tried to return to Harry's body. Tears spilled over her eyes as the door was slammed shut in her face. Ginny collapsed on the stairs and could not find the strength to even look up into Draco's cold eyes.

Draco grabbed hold of her arm tightly as he Apparated to Malfoy Manor. Ginny felt the wind rush through her hair as she found herself sitting on a cold marble floor. Draco looked down at her crumpled on the floor and for a moment felt his heart reach out to her. Ginny did not see the look of sadness in his eyes as she cried and cried until she had no more tears left to shed. Draco blinked once and the look of compassion was gone from his face. When he spoke, his voice was cold and menacing.

"We are to be married tomorrow night. When we are married, you will be bound by a powerful spell that will prevent you from ever harming, me or yourself. You will never be allowed from this home unaccompanied ever. You will come to me every night, no matter what, and are never to tell me no. Do I make myself clear?" Draco asked her as he pulled her to her feet once more. Ginny forced herself to look him in the eyes as she said in a cold, even voice, "Yes."

"Did you ever sleep with Potter?" Draco asked her with a looked of pure venom in his eyes. Ginny had not in fact ever had sex with him, but refused to answer. She was angered that he could even ask her such a question only moments after he had just killed him. When she thought this Ginny burst into tears once more.

"Answer me!" Draco shouted angrily as he shook her small body.

"No," Ginny sobbed as her knees began to shake. Draco smiled at this and strolled away from her, calling over his shoulder, "by the way, there is no way for anyone besides my self who can Apparate or Disapparate within these grounds." Ginny took one look around the large hall she was now in and began to cry once more as she crumbled to the ground and remained there for the remainder of the day.

Ginny found herself alone in the dark hallway later that night and had been ushered into a large master bedroom by a couple of maids later on that night. Draco was standing near the wall length window looking out at the dark sky.

Ginny had been forced to come to this room and was thrown in and the door shut tightly from the other side. Ginny stood tall as she watched Draco turn around to face her. Draco pulled his wand out and muttered a spell that brought a roaring fire to the stone fireplace and he said another one that removed all of Ginny's clothes. Ginny looked down at her body, horrified as she tired to cover her body the best she could.

"Ginny go to the bed," Draco ordered. Ginny felt a mixture of hatred and confusion as she listened to her name roll off his tongue. Ginny felt the chill of the night air hit her exposed body as she reluctantly moved towards his bed.

The bed was larger than any bed she had ever seen. It had dark green and silver sheets that were the softest silk she had ever felt. She slid into the bed and pulled the covers to the base of her neck. Draco slipped off his robe and moved towards the side Ginny was on. It was hard for Ginny not to look at Draco's naked body. He had a perfectly chiseled body from playing quidditch all throughout his Hogwarts years.

Although Ginny had lived with Harry for about a month she had never slept with him and had done almost nothing with him besides kiss. She had wanted to wait to be married before she did anything with him. Now she knew as her eyes roamed Draco's body that her wish would not be granted.

Draco climbed onto the bed and rested his body on top of hers with only the heavy quilt separating their naked bodies. Draco looked down at Ginny's face with puzzled eyes. Ginny looked frightened as she griped the sheets with her small hands. Draco took her hands gently in hers and kissed them both gently. Ginny's stomach tightened as flashes of Harry's dead body kept appearing before her eyes.

"Don't be afraid," Draco whispered into her ear as he slowly kissed her on the lips. Ginny did not want to kiss him. She did not want to go anywhere near him. As he pried her lips open with his tongue his hand began to wander down her body. He slowly pulled the sheets away as his kisses traveled down the length of her body. Ginny closed her eyes, not wanting to believe any of this was real.

"Move your hands," Draco's voice was husky as his eyes looked down at her body hungrily. Ginny slowly removed her hands from her body and covered her face with them instead. Draco pulled her hands away from her face and smiled down at her. Ginny felt his warm hands travel down her body and Ginny saw another flash of Harry's lifeless face. She could feel his cold limp hand in hers as Draco's warm strong hand pushed her up the bed farther.

"Draco," Ginny whispered through her sobs. Draco looked surprised to her his name coming from her lips. To his utter disappointment it was not being called out in pleasure, but was being said in a pleading form as Ginny's round brown eyes searched his face.

"What?" Draco asked a little more sharply than he had intended.

"I...I had wanted to remain a virgin until I was married." Ginny half sobbed. Draco was not in the mood to hear this. He was about four seconds away from having her when she cried again as tried to move again from him. Draco was unsure what to do. He had tried to be gentle with her and be as loving as he could be. He had been known to be very good in bed and wanted her to experience this. However, as he looked down into her frightened face he felt his body go cold. He rolled off of her and stared up at the ceiling.

"As you wish," Draco whispered in the night air as he shut his eyes tightly as drifted off into an uncomfortable sleep. Ginny lay there for a few minutes unsure of what had just happened. She let out a deep sigh of relief as she turned on her side and face the room as she let sleep take her.
