Chapter 5: A Galleon for Your Thoughts
Ginny was pushing and shoving to get through the streets in Hogsmeade. It was the first Hogsmeade weekend and she was exhausted. If it were the firs Hogsmeade weekend, which meant that the Halloween Ball will be in a week. She always wonders if Hermione and Ron finished all the preparations. Knowing Hermione, they probably did. Ginny walked past a small boutique and stopped. She backtracked to the window.
There were the most gorgeous dress robes you ever imagined. It was a forest green, a color that complimented Ginny's appearance. She walked to the door and pulled it open. The boutique was rather small, but beautiful. Ginny hasn't seen a shop like this.
"May I help you?" someone asked behind her. She turned around to see the sales person standing behind her. She was wearing one of the dress robes.
"Oh no thank you, umm...Jane," Ginny said, looking at her nametag. Jane nodded and walked to the robes in the window.
"With your complexion, and those gorgeous eyes, you would suit these robes easily. Why don't you try it on?" Jane asked offering the robes. Ginny couldn't resist. She grabbed the robes and walked to the dressing room. She dressed into the robes and looked in the mirror. Jane was right. It does match.
Ginny stepped out of the room and showed Jane. "How does it look?" she asked. Jane smiled.
"It looks beautiful on you. Would you like to ring it up?" she asked.
"Umm...how much is it?" Ginny asked, as she walked back to the changing room.
"Let me check," Jane said from the other side of the curtain. Ginny changed quickly and handed the robes to Jane. Jane summoned a small book, which held all the prices.
"Oh this is one sale today, it is 25 Galleons," she said. She looked up at Ginny and noticed that Ginny's smile vanished.
"I got it," said a voice behind Ginny. Ginny turned around to see Draco standing there with a bag of money in his hand. He dropped the money on the table. "You could count that yourself," he said as he leaned on the counter. Ginny blushed as Draco stared at her.
"It's all here," Jane said as she began to put the robes in the package and handed it to Draco. Both Draco and Ginny didn't speak until they were outside the shop.
"What were you thinking?" Ginny yelled at Draco. Draco chuckled.
"I am buying a robe. Here, it better suits you than me," he said as he walked away. Ginny opened the package. There was a small white paper in it. Ginny unfolded it and read it.
Tomorrow. Meeting. Important discussion.
~Draco
Ginny looked at the paper again and crumpled it up. She threw in the wastebasket. "He is so weird," she said as she walked away.

Harry, Hermione, and Ron were in the Great Hall, eating breakfast. Ron was munching on some pancakes, sausages, waffles, eggs, and hash browns. Hermione and Harry were both eating cereal.
"Jeez, Ron, could you finish all of that?" Harry asked.
"Yeah, I can. Why?" Ron replied between chews. Hermione laughed.
"How could you do that?" Hermione asked as she grabbed a biscuit.
"I don't know. I guess it comes all natural," Ron said as he poured himself more milk. Harry guessed probably because he had such a big family, they never had breakfast like this. Harry stirred his cereal as he thought.
"Honestly Hermione, I am just hungry. I don't care if you think it's gross," Ron said, breaking the trance that Harry was in.
"Well, would you care if Lavender thought it was gross?" Hermione shot back.
"No. Why would I?" Ron asked.
"Ok, enough both of you. What are you guys arguing about?" Harry said, coming to Ron's rescue. Before Ron could answer, the two double doors opened. Blaise walked in, wearing the school uniform, minus the robes. She didn't wear the knee-high socks, showing off her legs. Her eyes looked upon all the gawking faces. She didn't walk to the Slytherin table, but straight to the Gryffindor table.
She approached Harry and pulled out his chair a bit more. She took a seat on his lap. Harry looked at her like she was crazy. "What are you so scared of?" she whispered in his ear. Harry shrugged. Blaise began to kiss him in front of everyone. Now everyone's jaw dropped. Whispers went around the room. Harry is dating Blaise? A Slytherin with a Gryffindor? The whole school was on the edge of their seats to see what would happen. Then, the most unexpected thing happened.
Ginny walked into the Great Hall. She went straight to Blaise and tapped her on her shoulder. Blaise turned around and slapped her.
"What did you do that for?" Blaise yelled.
"Tramp!" Ginny yelled. The whole room gasped. That was the loudest they have heard Ginny, and probably most violent.
"Excuse me? You must be mistaken!" Blaise yelled back. Ginny slapped her again. Harry grabbed Ginny's wrist.
"I know about you! You went to Draco last night. You wanted him. You told him. How could you have done that to Harry?" Ginny yelled. Blaise took a step back.
"He told you?" Blaise asked in a softer voice.
"He told me everything," Ginny answered. Ginny turned her heel and left. Harry turned Blaise around.
"You little...slut!" Harry yelled as he ran out the door.

Ron and Hermione were walking on campus looking for Harry. Ron kept bringing up the whole breakfast incident. Hermione wanted to slap him. She kept looking at him and wished that he would look back. But he focused on he slapping incident.
"That was so cool! Did you think that?" Ron asked. Hermione shook her head. Ron sighed.
"Hermione, lighten up. Ginny probably is PMSing right now. It will die down," Ron said.
"No it won't. Why would Draco tell Ginny? Was he hoping to break through something?" Hermione asked.
"Hermione, you think too much. You have to calm down. Maybe Malfoy is getting better. Oh, how could that happen?" Ron said. Hermione stopped.
"You might be right," Hermione said. Ron stopped and turned around.
"Did you just agree with an insult?" Ron asked taking a few steps closer.
"I must delirious. I must have not had enough sleep," Hermione said rubbing her head. Ron moved closer to her and put his arms around her. He held her closer.
"No, you're not. You are perfect the way you are," Ron said, resting his head on hers.
"What are you talking about? Look at me. I am a wreck. I am slowly dying without you! I need you in my life but you like Lavender! Gosh, I even went to Sirius for help!" she said, pulling herself away from Ron.
"What? Hermione, I lied. I honestly lied. Hermione, I never liked Lavender. I liked you," he said. Hermione looked up. Ron towered over her, by maybe 5 inches.
"You did? Why?" she asked.
"I thought you would never like me. I was always the best friend, never boyfriend material," Ron said, staring at the floor.
"I thought the same thing," Hermione said as she stood on her tiptoes and kissed him.

Harry was sitting in the Quidditch Pitch, watching Ron and Hermione kiss. He now knew that everything he thought was right, it was wrong. Harry sighed. Harry buried his head in his hands. "Why did I have to fall for her?" he asked himself.
Harry knew that no one would answer that question. His intentions with Blaise were good, and her intentions with him were bad. He should've known that Blaise was wrong for him. What did he see in her?
Harry pulled out a paper from his bag and began writing. The words spilled out so fast, Harry couldn't keep up.
"Falling. Falling in love. The worse feeling in the world, yet the thing that gives you wings. How could love deceive you? It sends you the wrong person, at the completely the wrong time. You fall in love with someone out of reach, someone you lost long ago. How could you win them back? How could you make them see that you truly care for them? I live in fear, waiting for you, for you to run back into my arms. The fear keeps me alive. The fear helps me understand these feelings. Will you ever feel the same? Or am I just dreaming?"
