A/N This is the 02 chapter. (Or third if you consider Roy Way one)

*Can You Feel the Love Tonight?*

"RAVENCLAW!" the sorting hat screamed.

"Ronto, Robin!" Professor McGonagall called out.

"Slytherin," the hat said in a creepy voice.

"Roy, Katelyn!" Professor McGonagall called out looking directly at Sam.

"Hey Harry, did Sam ever tell us her sister was going to Hogwarts this year?" Ron asked with a puzzled look.

"Nope."

"Hmmmmm, I see. Another one of you girls. Strong, smart, pretty, where do you belong? How about Gryffindor?" the sorting hat looked amused.

Sam looked shocked, Katie was crying.

"No, no, RAVENCLAW!"

"Stouts, Heather!"

"Let me see here, I think I know exactly where to put you."

"Gryffindor, please Gryffindor."

"No, no, no. HUFFLEPUFF!"

"Sutley, Benjamin!"

"GRYFFINDOR!"

Finally the sorting was over. Harry was happy, he was been starving. Ron grabbed more than Harry, even after eating all that candy.

"Welcome to Hogwarts again!" Professor Dumbledore said, "I want to say that you all shall please join us down at the Quidditch field for a opening ceremony. Out of short announcement I would like all Quidditch players to return to their dorms as soon as possible and come down to the field as soon as possible. All Quidditch teams please. The ceremony will begin in about 15 minutes and I want you all to be there sooner. We will be informing you about new classes, teachers, and we actually have a new ghost with us. We'll have some fun treats so don't fill yourselves with too much dessert. Thank you very much."

Harry immediately got up along with tons of other Quidditch players. Harry had luckily found awesome people to replace Wood, Alicia, Angelina, Katie, Fred and George. But he had to admit they weren't all that good. Ron had been dying to make it onto the team but Harry knew he wasn't good enough. Sam was supposed to be one of the beaters for Ravenclaw but after Meg had almost killed someone they never let a Roy on the Quidditch fields. Harry walked up to his dorm thinking about people he hadn't seen over the summer. Neville Longbottom, Seamus Finnigan, the Weasley's, Colin and Dennis Creevy, Lavender Brown (he usually saw her), Cho. Harry felt the weirdest feeling go through his stomach when he thought of her. Why was that? He'd gotten over her a year ago. He knew that feeling though it's the one he got when he saw her crying the day Cedric died. Harry shook himself out of it. He had other business to do, like go change. Finally he reached the field. Slytherin was already there and some of Hufflepuff, finally a Gryffindor came.

"Hey Harry, do we got to play a game?" Justin Lipton was their new keeper.

"No, we're just here to show off."

"Very funny, I say we start flying around."

"If we were allowed to the Slytherins would be all over the field."

"Which is exactly why they aren't, they never want to do what's right you know that!"

"If you really want to go ask McGonagall."

"No way!"

"Potter! Get up on your broom this instant! We didn't bring you out here to stand around like idiots all day!" Professor McGonagall apparently did want them to fly, "Malfoy up! In the air! Lipton what are you doing?"

"Flying Professor!"

"Get down here and help Madam Hooch get all the equipment! You need to show people what Quidditch is like! They've seen people flying around already! What got into you this summer?"

"Sorry Professor, I'm coming."

Justin helped Madam Hooch then got back up into the air.

"Justin! What are we supposed to be doing?"

"Playing Quidditch!"

"Four teams?"

"Apparently!"

"Potter! Catch the snitch then throw it back out again! Show people what you're made of! Malfoy! The same goes to you!" Madam Hooch looked up at dumbstruck Quidditch players and rolled her eyes.

Tons of people piled onto the fields 3 minutes later. First years were screaming their heads off and others were wondering what was going on. Professor McGonagall called everyone down, and then Madam Hooch took over.

" Listen up all of you! We'll be announcing you all team by team then player by player. When you're team gets called you need to go to the front and form the first letter of your house. It's easy since there are 7 of you. Then you'll all split up when the first player is called BUT stay in the front of the other teams! Here's a diagram showing what the letter should look like with layers as lines. All clear? Now get up in the air!"

Everyone did what Madam Hooch said and the introduction was finally over. By the Quidditch players came back out of the changing/shower rooms they were already announcing teachers. Luckily Harry didn't miss any of the new teachers. He was just going to sit with Ron and Sam when Cho caught up to him.

"Harry, can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Sure," Harry answered turning around.

"Over the summer I got this letter from somebody, I don't know who it was but it wasn't addressed. It said Dear Cho then it said Hello Harry and was a whole letter to you. Whoever sent it crossed out the name of who it was from and never signed it."

Harry nodded, he didn't know whom it was from but had an idea that it was someone he knew very well. Not Voldemort, not Sirius, just somebody. He started to walk away.

"Harry!" Cho called him back, she wasn't finished talking.

"Cho, can we talk about this later? I really want to see who the new teacher is!" Harry snapped at her, he didn't want anyone to mess up this year at Hogwarts. Cho could figure it out by herself, she was smart enough.

She nodded but looked a little hurt. Harry had never yelled, screamed, or had done anything mean to her before.

Harry noticed the hurt look on her face. "Wait a second, I didn't mean to hurt you. Just make it quick."

"Do you want to look at this? Maybe you could identify the handwriting or the way they wrote the letter." Cho whispered.

"Okay, I'll give it back to you later."

"Thanks, you can keep it. I don't want to know who it is, I just thought it probably belonged to you."

"Oh, well it's addressed to you, so..." Harry glanced at the letter, it was written in small neat cursive a little scribbly. Hermione? No way. He glanced at the letter and saw the word crush.

"You didn't read it did you?" Harry didn't know what was in the letter but it wasn't good.

"Um, well I sort of did, but there was nothing personal in it or anything. I mean there probably were but it's smudged and crossed out and--"

"Right, okay. I'll give it back to you tomorrow, I don't really want it."

"Thanks, you might want to read it though, there's one really freaky part."

"Okay, are you coming to see the rest of the ceremony?"

"Yeah, I guess so. I've got to go put some stuff away first, see you later Harry."

"Bye," Harry stared at the paper he was holding he had and urge to rip it up but couldn't, he had to read it first.

"Well that sure took you long enough! You missed everyone except the new teacher Harry!" Ron pointed at his watch.

"Sorry, I got caught up talking to someone."

"Who?"

"Justin Lipton. He was acting really stupid and I had to tell him some stuff."

"I always thought he was no good, especially for Quidditch."

"Hey Harry! What's up?" Sam walked over with four butter beers in her hand and gave one to Harry and Ron, she put the extra beside her for Cho to get when she came.

"Shut up Sam! We've got to here about this new professor!" Ron refused the butter beer.

"Attention all students! Professor Brown will not be introducing herself, for she wants to do it in personal form!" Professor McGonagall rolled her eyes at what she had just said.

"Oh great! That's nice! In personal form! I can't wait any longer!!!"

"Golly Ron, calm down. It's dark out so we can't even see her face." Sam handed Ron his butter beer, this time he took it willingly.

"Hi you guys! Did I miss anything?" Cho came over and took a seat next to Harry.

"No, we don't get to meet the new teacher until we go into her classroom or see her in the hall!"

"She's not that hard to miss Ron, I saw her this morning. She wears gold and gems and clothes that are hard not to notice. If you want to meet her so bad just catch her in the hallway sometime. Seriously, if she's anything like Trewlaney then you probably don't want to meet her, so stop freaking out!"

"I'm not freaking out Sam! I just want to know who she is! Weren't you dying to meet Trewlaney when you first heard about her?"

"Yeah, but I know Trewlaney now, and I know I should've never met her. This new professor your dying to meet teaches the same class! She's got to be a lot like Trewlaney. I don't know one person who isn't crazy that can look into a clear glass ball and actually seriously predict the future! Do you?"

"No, but then again I only know one person who can!"

"Exactly! That's why they can't be that different! You rarely find people like that. Trewlaney and her were probably best friends in school, they probably had a club together and their favorite subject was Divination! They have to be alike if they teach the same class!!!"

"Not exactly. Were Lockhart and Moody alike? No! Moody was some crazy psycho dude and Lockhart was a cheating Hollywood star!"

"Moody wasn't Moody Ron! Somebody was pretending to be Moody! The real Moody was locked up in hidden door!!"

"Sam has a point Ron," Cho said calmly.

"Well I have a point too! Lupin and Lockhart! How alike are they?"

"Lupin can change into an animal! Lupin can talk through pieces of paper! Lupin knows the dead and still contacts them! Lupin is like Moody! Another creature hardly even human!"

"Quirrell and Lockhart!"

"Quirrell had some dark wizard on the back of his head! He faked his character! Quirrell wasn't quite human either. And would you quit it with Lockhart! He wasn't who he said he was either. Listen Ron, if we ever had a real DADA teacher they'd all be alike in some way, maybe not like Divination but alike in some way. Besides Divination is something you learn later in life, it's a subject you can sacrifice and that not all people have the talent for, but anyone can learn Defense Against the Dark Arts!"

"You two can be quiet now," Harry had been listening to their stupid argument the whole time wondering when it would stop.

"Good idea Harry, the fireworks are about to start anyways," Cho thought it was time to stop too.

They all heard a loud boom and sparks flew up into the air. The first fireworks said WELCOME TO HOGWARTS. It was in beautiful colors. Harry had never seen anything like it before. The second firework said GRYFFINDOR, third RAVENCLAW, fourth HUFFLEPUFF, and fifth SLYTHERIN. Names of professors, and classes flew into the air for five minutes then stopped for a few minutes. Harry felt a shake against his body.

He looked over at Cho who was shivering, "Cold?"

Cho nodded a little. Harry took off his cloak and gave it to her.

"Thanks, are you sure you're not cold."

"I'm fine."

"Hurry up! I want to see some more," Ron mumbled.

The next set of fireworks was amazing. They were different spells with an example of each one. The next set showed places like the forbidden forest and had a matching tune played with it. Finally the last one flew up. It was huge, colorful, and just spectacular. THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF MAGIC the fireworks didn't even make a boom when they shot up into the air, it made a nice soft music. Everyone clapped then Dumbledore shot up into the air with a glowing light on him so everybody could see him.

"Thank you all for joining us at the ceremony. I hope you enjoyed it. I want to remind you about all the rules again. Absolutely no going into the forbidden forest unless accompanied by a professor or someone who works here at Hogwarts. Last year we had a few problems with the Astronomy Tower and so you are forbidden to go up there unless accompanied by whom I mentioned before. I would like you to enjoy your year at Hogwarts. Please all return to your common room, all first, second, and third years must be escorted by a prefect. Have a nice night." Dumbledore floated back down to the ground.

"That was bloody amazing!" Ron exclaimed.

"I agree, but right now I'm off to bed," Sam yawned and walked away, "I'll see you in the common room Cho!"

"Same here Harry, I've got to talk to Ginny for a second anyways." Ron walked away to find his sister.

"Thanks a lot for letting me use your cloak Harry," Cho handed Harry his cloak.

Harry hung it on his arm then looked up in the sky, "It's a full moon tonight, the centaurs and werewolves will be going crazy."

"I don't blame them. It's really pretty, especially on a dark night like tonight."

Harry turned around and looked at Cho, her face looked prettier than he'd ever seen it before.

"Just like you," he whispered. Then Harry leaned closer and caught Cho in a kiss.

They finally separated and Harry stood there for a second looking at Cho's face under the moonlight.

She smiled, "Good night Harry."

"Night Cho."

Harry walked back to the castle thinking about if he really did get over that crush he had on Cho. * I did, * he thought to himself, * it's just tonight I felt, I felt the love that was always supposed to be there. *
