Wow. It's been many months since I updated. I feel bad about letting the fic sit unfinished. I would imagine that there will be a dramatic conclusion after this and that it will be finished.

Draco and Hermione were sitting at a table in Hogsmeade. They were sipping hot cider. Hermione kept eyeing Draco warily, as if there was something wrong with this picture, with this scenario.

"Hermione....." Draco began.

She looked up expectantly. "I need a favor," he continued. There was an uncomfortable pause. He went on. "You see, I feel like the whole broom cupboard escapade has really changed things in terms of our mutual enemy thing that we had going on. It's all one big confusing world." Hermione's eyes were blank. "I have this potion. It would sort of bring things back to normal..."

"NO!" Hermione screamed. Draco was taken aback by the strength of her response. She blushed. "It's just that....well, this whole thing has really brought me and Harry together. I don't want that to go away!" Draco nodded.

Now what was he going to do?

Harry pushed Ron away. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" he screamed.

Ron's face turned red. "I love you," he whispered. Harry pushed by him stalking towards the stairs.

"Wait! Don't go! I don't like the way I feel; I wish I didn't have feelings for you! It's something I've tried to change but I can't. The one girl that I love is taken. Both of you together! It makes me sick. Why can't I be happy?"

Harry turned slowly, piercing Ron with his fierce green eyed gaze. Ron gulped, noticing the way that the pale light of morning shone through his raven hair. Harry nodded.

"You can have her," he said.

Draco stood awkwardly outside the Gryffindor common room with Granger next to him. "Well, thanks for the cider," she said. He mumbled something under his breath. She gave him a strange look and spoke the password, letting herself in. "Do you..." she began. He was gone from the corridor. Hermione shrugged and entered the common room, sitting down next to the fire.

Draco ran to his room as fast as he could. The transformation had to be made tonight! He couldn't wait any longer. But how could he make Harry into Henrietta? It was simple enough to make him a girl...any old girl. How could this be done?

He returned to his notepad and began to scribble on it. If he could transform a desk or something into Harry's girl form....then he could take the hair from that and put it in the potion. He face fell. That meant that another day or two had to go by. Well, he might as well begin.

He turned to the cage in which the permanently transfigured owl sat. He opened the door and let the owl out. He coughed and raised his wand.

Hermione looked up as she heard footsteps on the stairs. Her eyes lit up. Harry was coming!

No. It was only Ron. When she saw him, her face fell. "Oh. It's you." Ron sighed and went out through the portrait hole. It was one thing for Harry to give him Hermione and another to make her love him.

He passed Draco on the stairs. "What! You're going back to the common room? How many times have you visited today? 20?"

Draco smirked and hurried on.
