Harry Potter was tired. Tired of being who he was. He tried to imagine what it would be like if he were someone else. He smiled a little. That would be nice! But how? His blasted scar...but what if....

Suddenly, he knew what to do. So, he went out...he went shopping.

Draco looked around the ballroom. It was the Yule Ball and he wasn't having any fun at all. He sighed. He had come with Blaise and she had promptly dumped him for a Ravenclaw prefect. If he were a girl, he could steal her new-found love! He smiled at the thought. Well...why not? He could humiliate her and have fun!! He swept out of the ballroom, down to the Slytherin common room.

Harry placed his purchases on the bed. There was a set of blue robes with ribbons on the sides, some blush, lipstick, eye shadow, a quick-grow lashes kit ("for those sumptuous lashes you wish you had!") and a lovely brown wig. He smiled a little and took off his black robes, putting on the blue. He couldn't wait to see what he would look like!

Draco dug around in Blaise's trunk. He found some makeup and some fake eyelashes. He smiled triumphantly. So she didn't really have eyelashes! That was interesting...

Draco slipped into his newly made pink robes. He pointed his wand at his hair, making it longer. He applied the fake lashes and began putting on the make up. I make a lovely girl, he thought proudly.

He was silently applauding himself when he remembered. Shoes and leg hair. Two things to remedy. He conjured some silver shoes with stiletto heels and looked up a spell for getting rid of leg hair. He found some and performed the spell without difficulty.

He spent some time perfecting his walk. He remembered to swing his hips and to leave his arms swinging slightly at his side. He worked on how to flit one's eyes from the floor to the boy's face. Yes, he thought at last. He had gotten it right.

As a final touch, Harry put a spell on his scar that hid it temporarily, totally hiding his identity. It surprised him. Without his glasses and scar he looked totally different. The blue robe was so pretty! The way it sparkled in the light! He felt...well, nice! Maybe he was a transvestite at heart. No matter. It was time to arrive.

He was just about to leave when he looked down at his legs. They were hairy. Oops! He quickly charmed off his leg hair. There, he thought, looking down. That looks nice. He strutted out from the dormitory.

Harry and Draco arrived at the same time. They cut through the crowd after looking at each other oddly. Draco went toward Blaise and her partner. He neatly cut in. "Excuse me," he said in a strangely falsetto voice. "May I cut in?" Blaise had no chance to respond because Draco pushed her aside and swept off with the Ravenclaw prefect. Well, he thought, That was easy! But the hard part was letting the boy steer. That and trying not to trip over his stiletto heels.

Harry just sat on a chair, crossing his legs and looking very inviting. Boys crowded towards him. He danced with several and planted a kiss on a few cheeks. He giggled every time. "I can't believe I did that!" he said often. None of the boys ever realized just how awkward it was for him.
