The ghost shuffled in its spot, and talked to the kids about the history. The specter took Professor Binns place as the History of Magic teacher, but the professor decided to give a little more recent history at the time. The shroud began to speak:

"It had been 10 years since the Second Great War. Everyone was still shocked with the results. Harry Potter, the "savior" of the wizarding world, was nowhere in sight, and Hogwarts had been transfigured into a ghetto of sorts. Moaning Myrtle didn't stay in the girl's first floor lavatory, the school was too depressing, even for the likes of her.

" Dumbledore lay in his coffin. No he was not a vampire, for Dumbledore had been dead for 10 years, dying just after his army's defeat. Voldemort gained immortal life, and he ran Hogwarts, making it a new Durmstrang.

"Draco Malfoy had not been a Death Eater, unlike his infamous father Lucius. He married Hermione Granger and had a child, named Jonathan Noel Malfoy, or Jonny for short. Harry and Ginny Weasley had married after the war too. They had a child, Mallory Susan Potter, but she hated her name, so she went by her middle name, and her pet name was Suzie.

"Draco and Hermione lived in a little cottage in Oxford, while Ginny lived in Surrey. Ron Weasley, the famous Quidditch Keeper for the Chudley Cannons, and famous Seer Lavender Browns 's child...well, she was not one to be messed with. She was a bully, and she was a very depressed girl. I often talked to her, to try and comfort her, but it would never work. Her father's best friend was missing, her school was a slum, and she felt her life was useless.

"The students hated Hogwarts. They had heard about the Professor McGonagall and wonderful Professor Dumbledore, and how they would have Yule Balls and Quidditch Cups and the excitement of watching the new students being sorted. But, Hogwarts had definitely changed. The evil Lord Voldemort had taken over the school and made it into a school of dark arts. But, Voldemort was soon losing his ambrosia, which was created by Professor - aherm... Mr. Snape. Snape had been rid of his degree for teaching after his double spying for both the Ministry and for the Death Eaters was found, and he wasn't the original spy for the Ministry. He was still a Death Eater, and helped in the murder of Cornelius Fudge.

"So, when no more immortality potion could be created, Voldemort disappeared forever. Snape took over, and attempted to bring Hogwarts back to its original glory. Albeit his attempts were valiant, they did no use. Hogwarts would need another decade to regain its former self."

A little girl raised her hand. "Yes Felicia?" The girl wavered, and said "but how do these children fit into this story?" The professor chuckled. "My girl, this is only a prologue, chapter, even a disclaimer of the story. We aren't learning about the war. We are learning about the youth. Why, the Rebellion of the Youth of the Nation."
