Her heart was in her mouth. She could feel her wand in her pocket, but what use was it? This was Voldemort. She had no chance.

Oooohhh

You know that I would follow you

To the end of the Earth

And maybe I was kinda bold

You shouldn't know my words

I was waiting for the time to remind you

You were in love

What I gave was so incredible

But it was never enough

It hit her then. She was going to die.

You took my love

And broke my heart

You took my smile

And tore it apart

You left me crying

Down on the floor

The funny thing is

I still want more

If only you love me like I wanted you to

But you trick me into loving you

You tore me apart

You broke my heart

"LEGILIMENCY!"

*They were so close, their noses were almost touching. Then his lips were on hers and she was flying. Her dreams were coming a reality in front of her very eyes. They pulled apart and she instantly knew that it was meant to be. It was her and Harry against the world.*

*She was pouring her heart out into the diary. Tom understood. He was lonely too. He helped to ease her pain.

Dear Tom,

I want him to notice me. He never sees me. I wish I had someone to talk to... Someone like you.

Love,

Ginny*

*"I'm sorry, Ginny. It's over."

"This just you being noble, isn't it? It's fine, Harry. I understand."

"I love you, Gin."

"I'll try to wait for you."

"That's all I ask..."*

"NO!" Ginny screamed, sobbing. "That's private!"

Voldemort sneered. "Nothing is private form Lord Voldemort!"

She couldn't take it. Her most painful memories, displayed for him to see. For her to relive. What was this? Torture? Was he going to kill her?

Ginny wrapped her arms around herself and lifted her head to meet Voldemort's gaze. "What do you want from me?" she whispered, distraught.

"You will lead him here," Voldemort stated, calmly. "Then I will kill him and you will watch. I will kill your precious Love right here, in front of you."

Gasping, Ginny stumbled back. Tears fell thick and fast as she tried to think of a way to protect Harry.

"No," she pleaded. "Please, kill me instead."

Voldemort sighed. "What would be the point of that?"

Sobbing, she grabbed the hem of his robes. "Please?"

He kicked her away and wiped invisible filth from where she had touched him. "Idiotic child!"

Ginny only cried harder as she curled into a ball. Voldemort looked down at her in disgust. It was then that Ginny heard footsteps....

The door burst open and there was Harry. Ginny felt an overpowering sense of relief as she dragged her body towards him. "Harry, oh, Harry..."

"Shhh... I'm here... It's gonna be okay," he soothed. "I'll protect you."

He gently took her arms and supported her weight. Ginny felt so powerless as she gazed into his emerald eyes and, for a breathtaking moment, the world stopped spinning. It was them, forever and...

"How heartwarming!"

Ginny physically jumped. She shuddered as Voldemort pointed his wand at Harry's chest. She grasped desperately in her pocket, but her wand had vanished. She gulped. Snape was twirling it in his fingers in the next room, sneering at her.

"Promise me something?"

Harry gripped her hand tightly in his.

"Anything!"

He squeezed her fingers. "When I tell you to..."

"Harry," she warned. He smiled sadly.

"After three. One... Two... Three... Run!" he hissed in her ear.

Choking back her tears, Ginny drew her hand from his grip and ducked under his arm. As she glanced back over her shoulder half-way out the door, she saw Voldemort throw a curse at Harry. He repelled it and hollored: "RUN, GIN!"

Ginny flinched and did as she was told.
