Chapter 7

Harry was sitting with his Quiddith team. Last years graduation had been hard on the team. They had not only lost their captain, but also a few really good players. Ron sat down next to Harry. He had made it onto the team as a reserve chaser his fifth year and last year he played in most all of the games. Harry was excited to have him this year and was looking forward to winning the cup for third year in a row, actually fourth because they did not play his fourth year. Harry could tell the rest of the team was just as excited to be together again. Professor McGonagall entered the room and things quieted down as she made her way to the front of the room.

"Nice to see the team together again everyone. Now, down to business."

She looked over the room as she continued.

"First off we need a new team captain. Who would like to run for that office?"

Harry looked at Ron and told him he should do it. Ron was a little doubtful, but sense only two other hands went up he slowly raised his hand.

"Okay, it looked like we have three candidates to choose from, would you three please come to the front."

Ron went up to the front, along with Allen McCarthy a sixth year and a chaser, and Chad Jones a fifth year beater.

"Now would each of you please say a few words as to why you want to be captain and how you think you could help this team improve this year."

Harry could tell Ron was happy to be the last in line as the other two went first. Allen told them that he had know the old captain well and was going to continue with the same programs and the such. He felt that they could be successful if they all worked hard. Chad then got up and said he would try and better a few of the skill he felt the team was struggling with and then push hard for a great year. Then it was Ron's turn. Harry could see was nervous, but also that he had a smile on his face.

"Well, I must say that the two years I have been on the team have been some of the best of my life. I have worked hard and feel it an honor to play with such a talented team. I have full confidence that we are the best team this school has seen in years, and we can do nothing but get better. I want to win just as bad as the rest of you do this year, but more importantly I want to do it having fun. I want all of us to enjoy the time we spend on the field, both because we are good and also because we want to be there. This is what I will work towards if you elect me to be the team captain."

Harry was surprised. Ron had by far given the best little speech and he had the most confidence of the three. The three of then stood there with McGonagall, she stepped forward.

"Very well, we will now have the vote. All you take a piece of parchment and write a name and pass them in."

Everyone talked and waited a few minutes while McGonagall tallied the vote. When she stood everyone turned her way.

"Very well, I would like to congratulate Ron Weasley; he will be this year's team captain."

Everyone was excited and congratulations were given by all. Even the two who did not win the election were happy for him. Deep down Harry knew they just all wanted to play.

"Well, lets get out there," Ron said.

They played for a few hours as Ron debated where to put different people. They would have to hold tryouts for a few positions that need to be filled, but Ron was very optimistic about the whole thing. Soon they were all on the ground again. Harry had forgotten just how much he missed playing. He came up beside Ron.

"Hey, I have a little time before dinner with nothing to do, you mind if I chase the snitch around a little more. This is the first time since I left school that I have been on my broom."

Ron smiled at him, sat down the box and removed the snitch, giving it to Harry.

"Make sure it backs where it goes when you are done."

"Thanks."

Harry knew he had some time to kill. Moira was starting on the potion today with Snape, so he had plenty of time. He walked to the middle of the field and opened his hand. The snitch came alive and was off. Harry closed his eyes so that he would have to look of it. He then opened then and flew up quickly. He loved to feel the wind on his face. He circled the field for a few minutes before he found it. Then the case was on. Harry was having the time of his life. He lost count of how many times he caught and released the snitch and made sure to practice all his most dramatic moves. He caught the snitch one more time and looked down over the field. Standing to one side near the entrance was Moira.

"You are having too much fun Harry. What wonderful flying."

Harry looked around and made sure there was no one around. Lying on his broom he leaned her direction. He was simply floating in mid air at about center field.

"Well why don't you come join me up here Mrs. Potter. There is no one around."

Moira knew she needed to be careful, but he was right, she could sense no one around. She held out her arms and a wind came underneath her and slowly lifted her up. When she came within Harry's reach he picked her up and sat her on the broom. The broom handled the transition nicely.

"Do you want to chase the snitch?"

"Not with the two of use on the broom, but once we get the potion figured out most defiantly."

"Okay, I will just fly around a then and have some fun."

Harry put the snitch securely in his pocket so it would not get away. Then he flew her around the field and did all that he dared to with two people the broom. He could not tell if he liked the flying better or how tightly he was being held. It was getting dark and Harry already knew he would have to sneak food out of the kitchen for dinner, so he did one final trick and headed for the ground. When they touched the ground he took her in his arms and gave her a kiss. She was excited to feel all of the passion in it and hoped he was always like this after a game. They started back to ward the castle. Half way there they were nearly run over by Ron and Hermione both out of breath from running.

"Dumbledore wants you two NOW!"

Ron barley got it out before he collapsed and Hermione sat down to join him.

Moira and Harry took off at a run. They made it up the stairs and then to the statue that lead to Dumbledore's office. The door opened and there stood Dumbledore.

"Follow me and hurry."

Harry noticed that Professor Snape was right behind them. They came to room that Harry had never seen before. Sirius and McGonagall were there.

"Okay we need to act quickly. Professor Snape has just informed me that a meeting has been called. I believe it is time to see if this will work."

Harry stared at Dumbledore.

"But the potion is not ready and we have never tried this."

"I know Harry; I am going to have to ask you to do it without the potion. I am sorry." Dumbledore looked serious so Harry nodded.

Moira was already positioning the others to form a small circle. Harry realized she was telling them the magnification chant and what to do. Harry sat down in a chair and tried to clear his mind. He had to get all of the thoughts going through his head out. He knew they only had a matter of minutes before the mark on Professor Snape's arm would fade and the opportunity would pass. He focused on the flying he was doing just a few minutes ago and how wonderful it felt to have his wife's arms wrapped so tightly around him. He concentrated on those feelings as hard as he could and then he looked up. Moira was standing in the middle of the circle. The four members of the circle where chanting the spell. Harry stood up and walked between Dumbledore and Sirius. The second he walked into the circle he knew the chanting part of the spell was working. He walked up two his wife and took her hand. He looked deep into her eyes and gently kissed her. Then he slowly turned her around. She looked over her shoulder at him and gently leaned back into him. He was facing Snape and McGonagall when it happened. The look of shear shock and horror crossed their faces. They almost stopped chanting, but quickly remembered what they where doing. Harry and Moira walked up to Snape, and as he had been instructed to do moments before he held out his forearm where the skull and snake symbol was still burning dark.

They looked for a second at the mark then moved to place a hand over it. This was where they found out if all of their work had been worth it. They paused only for a second and then placed their hand over the blackness. In almost the same second their other hand shot to the scar on Harry's forehead. The link had been established. Soon they where kneeling in the middle of the circle, hands on their forehead. The pain was real, but together Harry and Moira could see the meeting that was just getting started. They became oblivious to the four people chanting around them as they witnessed the meeting. They had to try hard to remember all that was going on and the names of the people that where there. Finally the meeting ended and they could feel the desires and evil intents of Voldemort. They had enough and wanted no more of this. They put there hand up to stop the others from chanting. Slowly they came back to the room they were in. The other four took a seat at the table and waited. It took a minute for the two of them to take their place at the table.

Too exhausted to say anything and not knowing what it would do anyway. They sat down at the head of the table. Dumbledore was at one side with Snape beside him and Sirius was on the other with McGonagall at his side. They held out their hands to Sirius and Dumbledore.

"Are we going to pass out again?" Sirius asked.

The pair nodded.

"It would seem likely," Dumbledore said. "Sirius and McGonagall you do have to do this if you don't want to."

"I've come this far I want to know," Snape said.

"Well if you are all going to pass out I guess someone should stay conscious," McGonagall stated.

With that McGonagall folded her arms. Sirius settled back comfortably in his chair. When Dumbledore did like wise Snape followed suite. They held their hands out one more time. Dumbledore took Snape's hand and then took theirs. Sirius took the other and they all closed their eyes. Snape was amazed at the power that flowed into his body. He was tempted to let go of Dumbledore's hand, but curiosity made him hold on. Harry and Moira opened the scene they had witnessed to the others. They were able to bear until near the end when Voldemort was through with the meeting and started pondering on his evil intentions and desire. When it was over they let the hands fall and sat back to try and relax.

It had worked, they where able to know what was going to happen. While the others where coming around. Harry and Moira took the time to bring the wonderful fact of union back to the front of their mind. The pain of the Death Eater meeting quickly faded and they were reminded of what a wonderful thing the union was. In a few minutes all of the men had regained consciousness. McGonagall was still sitting with her arms folded.

"Well are you going to tell me what this was all about or not?"

She was getting a little on the testy side. Dumbledore laughed and quickly explained that they had done this to establish a telepathic link to Voldemort. They were able to attend a planning meeting and see what he was planning to do and how. It was a short explanation and obviously not all that she wanted to hear.

"And that?"

She said pointing to Harry and Moira.

"Yes, that is quite fascinating is it not? Well, that is between them McGonagall. How much they chose to tell you is up to them."

Both Snape and McGonagall turned to Moira and Harry wanting an explanation. Harry and Moira knew they had to say something, but they were not sure how. They knew they could not speak and where not sure what telepathy in this situation would do.

"We promise we will speak to you one on one later."

They tried to put it into their minds as gently as possible but McGonagall melted in her seat and Snape nearly fell over. It was pointless and there was nothing they could do about it. They soon recovered.

"Yes, Harry latter you can tell me about it." McGonagall seemed relieved.

Harry and Moira stood up to leave. Then Dumbledore spoke up.

"Snape, please get to work on that potion, McGonagall if anyone asks Harry and Moira are sick and will not be in classes until Monday. Sirius you write to the groups of contacts who need it and I will write to the Ministry."

Harry and Moira were at the door and then bent over to pick up the broom. Then they remembered the snitch in Harry's pocket. The four adults were talking and they slipped out and carefully made there way to the Quiddith field. It was dark, but the moon was full and bright. They stood in the center of the field and looked around. They released the snitch and the chase was on. Harry and Moira chased the snitch with no concept of time. Then they sensed someone was coming. They landed and hid in a dark corner of the stands. It was Dumbledore, Snape, Hermione and Ron.

"The snitch wasn't in the box Dumbledore and we can't find them. I am sure it is nothing. Really, I can't even imagine how he could see it in the dark."

Ron had gone to find Dumbledore because he worried, but finding Snape with him was what Ron called just dumb bad luck.

"Oh, I can." Snape said.

When they reached the field and saw nothing Ron and Hermione were relived.

"Like I said I am sure he just forgot to put it away."

Dumbledore looked around and his eyes stopped right where they were hiding.

"All three of you a wait here."

Dumbledore walked over to the shadow and stood there for a few minutes.

"We're sorry Dumbledore, but we just wanted to do something fun and relaxing before we have to torture ourselves."

"I understand, but your friends were worried and I really don't like the thought of you being out here alone. So, I brought you this to get you safely back with us. I must say those cats are hard to get by. I thought I was going to have to back out on the idea, so don't be surprised if they are in a bad mood when you get back to your room."

With that he discretely dropped Harry's invisibility cloak on the ground. Turned around and walked back to the three waiting.

"I assure you everything is fine and I think we all need to get back to the castle."

Dumbledore set off for the castle. As soon as all the backs where turned Harry and Moira put on the cloak and followed the group. Once in the castle they first placed the snitch in its place before heading off to their room. They waited for a while until they were sure the castle was asleep for the most part. They remembered what it was like the first time and worried that others in the castle would be affected by the separation. They cast a spell around them that formed barrier between their room and the rest of the castle. Now they could do all they wanted in the room. Sound could enter, but not leave their room. They knew they would scream and they did not want their voices to be heard.

They took a deep breath and screamed as they fell to the ground. It was considerably worse than last time, and they thought possible that if they did it again it might just kill them. They cried and slept and slept and cried for the next 24 hours. Then they just slept.

__________

When Harry woke up again he looked around and looked outside and listened in the halls. Best he could figure it was Sunday morning. He put on the invisibility cloak and went down to the kitchen and brought back a lot of food. He had not eaten in a day and a half and neither had Moira. He bent over her and woke her with a kiss. She held a hand up to his face and he kissed her again.

"Hey, I've got us some food. Your hungry, come eat."

Moira slowly sat up and it took the room a minute to stop spinning. She really needed that food. They sat on the floor and ate until their stomachs could hold no more.

"Thanks for the food, I needed that."

"Well that is what happens when you don't eat for almost two days."

"We can not do that again without the potion, or Voldemort will not have to kill us. It was so much worse this time."

"Yeah, I know. We will just have to wait on the potion."

"I am going back to bed."

"Okay."

Harry sat there and watched as his wife drifted off to sleep. He was worried; the separation was so much harder on her this time. To him it seemed a little easier if anything, but it was obviously worse for her. He was not tired so he decided to see if he could find Dumbledore and see what went on with all of the information they had gained.

Harry found Dumbledore in his office, but he was not alone, Snape was with him. He could not overlook the fact that Snape seemed almost uncomfortable in his presence.

"Glad you could make it Harry. You look like you are feeling better, have a seat."

"Thank you, and yes I am feeling better."

"Harry, I am sure you want to know what is going on with all of the information."

"Yeah, that would be exactly why I am here, are you sure you can't read minds?"

"The obvious requires little talent Harry."

Harry was surprised by the fact that he was a little nervous, were they not going to tell him. Snape kept starring between him and Dumbledore and Harry was not sure what to think.

"I wish I had the time to explain it all, but I am going to have to defer that to Professor Snape. I need to be off to a meeting. I will be back tomorrow so I am sorry Harry, but I must be going....goodbye."

With that Dumbledore was out the door. Harry looked around his office and saw the Phoenix. He remembered how much he owed to that bird. As if sensing his desire the bird flew over and settled in his lap. It made Harry feel better, knowing he was going to actually have to talk to Professor Snape.

"Well, there you go again."

Harry looked up with a confused look on his face.

"I am sorry I do not know what you are talking about."

He slowly stroked the Phoenix, wishing and hoping that this would be over quick.

"That seems to be a habit with you."

"What does?"

"Do you know what that bird is?"

"Yes, it is a magical Phoenix, one of his tail feathers resides in my wand, another in Voldemort's, he brought me the sorting hat when I was fighting the snake my third and saved my life in the process. And then he was sent as a messenger to me my forth year when I was standing against Voldemort. And he has helped me a few times since then, so yes I know this bird rather well."

"Well, if you do then why it is he is sitting with you? Any normal wizard would be effect by now."

This was news to Harry, but he was in no mood to humor him.

"It would appear then that I am no normal wizard wouldn't it."

Harry stroked the bird again, grateful that the Phoenix made him feel better. He sat back and closed his eyes wondering what Snape was going to say next.

"Yes, Harry, one thing is for sure you are not what I thought. Why don't you tell me about that?" Snape did not ask, he commanded.

"Tell me what you know about the Legend of Imlach?" Harry said as he stroked the bird again.

"What does that have to do with anything?"

"It has everything to do with this. What do you know of the legend?"

Had Harry had his eyes open, he would have been under a very odd stare. Harry knew the wheels where turning in Professor Snape's head trying to put the pieces together.

"Well?"

Professor Snape stood up and was pacing the room.

"Well, if memory serves it has to do with a most powerful dark wizard that lived eons ago."

Snape took Harry's lack of reaction as a clue that he should continue.

"He was very close to being successful in his desire to overthrow the entire magical world. As the legend goes he was stopped by a witch and a wizard who were able to join powers and defeat him but, by so doing they were also killed."

Snape stopped, he wanted to get some information out of Harry and Harry was not giving up any information Snape already has.

"Well, Harry, that is the legend, I ask again ... what does that have to do with this?"

The impatience and anger in is voice was evident and Harry knew he had pushed him as far as was wise. Harry sat up and opened his eyes.

"Like I said, it has everything to do with this. The witch and wizard that fought against the dark power were Moira's parents. What else do you know of the legend?"

Snape was growing impatient and he walked up to Harry until he was standing over him and looking down at him.

"And just who is Moira."

"She is my wife."

Snape and Harry were looking at each other with such contempt had anyone else been in the room they would have thought then ready to fight one another, and they would not have been far from the truth. Snape turned around abruptly and sat back down in his chair.

"I am tired of playing this game Harry, out with it."

"What game, you know the rest of the story and you know the legend. The two where joined by a magical spell they were able to create. You saw that spell the other night. With their combined power they were able to defeat the evil wizard. They evil wizard did not kill them, as most people think; it was trying to undo the union spell that killed them. Their daughter was the most powerful being that had yet been born. Her voice alone could kill. Haven't you ever wondered why you have never heard my wife speak? Come on professor, I believe you know the rest."

Harry stood up and placed the Phoenix back on his perch. He wanted to leave.

"I am afraid I don't Harry; the legend leaves much to be desired. Why don't you fill it in?"

"I think you are the one playing dumb now professor."

"Humor me," Snape said with a look in his eye that could kill.

"Very well, as a protection they put a spell on her and placed in a time frozen sleep. They left her in the mountain her father had created, and set two very sassy and magical wild cats to guard her. She could only be awakened by a special wizard, a very power potion, and a magical marriage spell. Since she is awake and my wife I think you can figure out the rest."

"You are leaving something out." Snape chided.

"Am I, well why don't you tell me what it is then?"

"The legend says something about the wizard that wakes her up."

"And just what is that?" Harry probed.

"That like her, he is a most powerful wizard, possibly the most powerful that has ever lived, more powerful even then even her. Many tried to wake her, but died because they could not. The legend said this world would produce only one who could wake her."

"Well, I am still alive and she is awake, so I guess you know what you want."

With that Harry walked out of the room and was on the stairs back down when he heard Snape speak again.

"Harry, come back here, we are not finished."

"What else is there to say?"

Harry turned around and Snape was standing at the top of the stairs.

"Why the potion?"

"The union spell is easy enough now that we have figured it out, but undoing it almost killed her this time. That is how her parents were killed, like I said. Without that potion we cannot contact Voldemort again."

He stood with his arms folded at the bottom of the stairs as if to ask if there was anything else he wanted to know. Just then Snape pulled a glass container from his robe and tossed it to him. Harry saw the container coming and simply put his hand up in the air as if he were raising his hand in class. The container stopped in mid air. Professor Snape looked shocked be recovered quickly.

"The potion." Snape said taking his eyes from the vile frozen in mid air and looking at Harry venomously.

"Are you sure it is right?"

"As sure as I can be without trying it. Her grandmother was a most powerful potion maker and from all I have studied I believe it is right, but like I said the only way to know for sure is to try it."

"If you are wrong, it could kill her."

Snape took a few steps down the stairs and stared at Harry.

"Well, then you are just going to have to decide if you trust me."

Harry put his hand up again and without a word the potion flew into his hand. He turned and walked out of the stair way. Harry put the potion in his robs and walked around for a while, trying to calm down and also trying to think if he trusted Snape or not. The idea that he would have to trust someone he disliked so much made him sick. Of course he was sure Professor Snape felt the same way about him. He pulled himself from his thoughts and found he was not far from McGonagall's office. He pulled a book out from his robe. This book was from the mountain and it explained the Legend of Imlach in great detail. He was just going to give it her and let her discover the truth for herself. He did not want to explain it again.

He stood at the end of the room for a few minutes before she noticed he was standing there. She looked a little surprised to see him there. She sat her quill aside and beckoned him forward.

"Hello Mr. Potter. Is there something I can help you with today?"

Harry put the book on her desk and pushed it toward her a little.

"Uh... this book will explain everything and answer your questions."

McGonagall picked up the book and looked at it. Then back at him.

"The only link you should know is that Moira's maiden name is Imlach. The rest will fall into place as you read the book. If you have any questions afterward please ask, and please make sure I get the book back too."

"Very well, I will read it tonight."

Harry nodded, turned and left the room. He was tired, more from dealing with Snape than anything else. He was almost back to his room when he remembered he had never found out what happened with the information they had gained. He decided he would ask Dumbledore when he got back. He found his wife sleeping and crawled in beside her and slept.

________________

The last couple of weeks had passed by fairly quickly since their hallway visit after first arriving to Hogwarts. Sabine had been avoiding Draco like the plague, which was not all that hard. Between her class schedule and her friends that she hung out with, she really was fairly busy. She had gotten used to either studying in her room or in the library. These were two places she knew she was not likely to run into Draco and with them being in two different years, they didn't have any classes together, so again, that only made it easier for her to avoid him.

For Draco, on the other hand, the past couple of weeks had moved along like a line of snails. He kept looking for opportunities to get her alone and "talk" to her, but he could barely find her half the time, except for at meals. His fascination with her had moved from irritation, to putting up with her, to constantly thinking about her in lustful ways. She had been a really good kisser and the way her willpower caved so easily allowing her body to melt into him like it had still drove him crazy. It was like being addicted to something and having to quit cold turkey. Draco also had another distraction he had not really considered. Apparently Pansy and a few of the other girls in the Slytherin house had suddenly become very interested in him. Every time he turned around, there was the lot of them giggling and blushing while batting their thick eyelashes at him. Pansy, who was by far the worst, was not so bad to look at, but was seriously annoying as all hell. Millicent had definitely fallen out of the ugly tree, hitting each branch on the way down. Two words: Weight Watchers! Over the summer, she had decidedly put on some pounds. The other couple of flighty girls Draco managed to ignore for the most part, since all they did were let out a lovesick sigh as he would pass. Some of their attentions had been his own fault as a result of him trying to make Sabine a little jealous. He had harmlessly flirted with them and now they were following him like rabid dogs!

Sabine was ever watchful of the happenings around her. One of her favorite past times was watching the masses and catching snippets here and there of gossip she could possibly use to her advantage. Her latest interest was the new arm candy that "Boy Wonder" had showed up with this year. Come to think of it, she remembered possibly seeing her at the end of last year after Christmas. Transfer students to Hogwarts were not common, but they were not unheard of either. All she knew about her was that she was super quiet, never really speaking a lot. Sabine figured that this was her "better-than-thou" Gryffindor attitude showing through in true style. Now that it seemed she was with "the Boy Who Lived", she truly thought something of herself! Sabine was also interested in the duo sidekicks of scar head, who were undoubtedly interested in each other, but fighting it for some reason. Nothing irked Sabine more, other than Harry Potter of course, than Hermione Granger. She was very smart and in the past couple of years had managed to tame her unattractiveness considerably. While they were in two different years at Hogwarts, they did not compete in marks, but Sabine was always irritated when she would find a subject that Hermione was better at. Then again, if Hermione wanted to waste her life away always studying and not having a good time ever, that was definitely fine by Sabine! She was good at school, but was definitely more interested in having fun. She was not going to waste what time she had to left! Not with the decision of her parents on her marrying Draco!

Sabine had been sitting at the Slytherin dinning table in the Great Hall as she had been thinking about all this. She was glaring over at the meddling foursome, when the last person she really wanted to see walked up behind her and tapped on her shoulder. She jumped terribly at being shocked out of her thought process by such a rude gesture and turned around to give the inconsiderate low-life, who dared to approach her in such a manner, a piece of her mind. However, when she did turn around to face her assailant, her face fell and she turned back around as Draco sat next to her.

"What the hell kind of hello was that?" he snapped.

"What do you want, Draco?" the boredom was tangible in her voice as she pushed the salad around her plate sub-consciously.

He sat there slightly perturbed with all the hard work he had put forth in their relationship over the summer, it had seemed to be working. Now they were regressing.

"I would just like to talk with you is all." He raised his eyebrows and put on his most convincing face.

"Yes, I am sure that talking is all you want to do," she mused again turning her attention to the half eaten food on her plate.

"You're right," he responded to her taunt, as he leaned in to whisper rather sensually. "I would like to do more than talk."

"Well, you will be waiting a long time for that, since hell shows no signs of freezing over any time soon!" Sabine retorted rather smartly.

"Look, we have to start getting along, my dear, since we don't have much time to get to know one another." He stared at her blankly, the sexiness lost from his voice.

Glancing down at her plate and finally deciding that she was done, she got up from the table.

"We have plenty of time for that, Draco. Now leave me alone."

Draco followed her out of the Great Hall and into a side corridor that would lead to the Slytherin common room.

"Why are you following me?" she turned suddenly and snapped.

"My dear," closing the gap between them, so that they were now inches apart, "I am not following you anywhere. We just happened to be going to the same place."

Being that close to her was intoxicating and it was clouding his mind. He wanted kiss her. He wanted to do more than kiss her! He watched her intently and suddenly he found what he was looking for. Her eyes had given her away if only for a second. Draco was taller than Sabine, but she had glared at him the whole time, showing no sign of giving in. She was stubborn and would do what it took to make sure he would not get what he wanted, but suddenly her eyes had changed and there was a look of submission. As quickly as it was there, it was gone, but she had not concealed it good enough! Excitement coursed through him and he leaned in closed to her.

Sabine watched the look on Draco's face turn from longing to triumph and she knew she had given herself away. For one brief moment, she had remembered how it had felt to have Draco's lips on hers and the way her body had lit on fire at his touch. For one brief moment, she had allowed herself to remember, she had let her guard down and he had seen it! She cursed under her breath and panicked, as he got closer still.

Before Draco knew what was going on, she had turned and fled down the corridor to the common room, but it didn't take him long to regain his senses and he went after her. She was his and best of all she wanted him just as badly! He had seen it in her eyes and he was not going to let her get away!

Sabine hurried along the corridor when she came to the common room entrance. She quickly said the password and hurried into the common room. She would be safe here. He would not try anything like he had before in front of so many other students. Surely he wouldn't! She hoped, but the thought vanished as she entered the common room and realized that it was empty. There was no one there. She faltered for only a minute, but that was more than enough time for Draco to have caught up to her.

"Interesting method of foreplay, my dear. I do love a good game of cat and mouse," he purred in her ear from behind.

She could feel his body inches away from behind her. He was standing so close! She tried to walk away without looking at him, but he already had her arm just above the elbow and turned her to face him.

For the one moment she had lost her composure earlier, she had shown her weakness to him, but now she tried desperately to regain herself and toss him aside like she had the first time when he abducted her in the hallway. What she was not counting on was the look of incredible desire she found on his face, and it made her pause for only half a second, her heart beating erratically. Before she could protest, Draco pulled her into him and kissed her fiercely. Electricity shot through him like hot lava; he deepened his kiss. The feeling of her against him was like no other, and he wanted to take her all in, not letting this sensation fade. She fought him again, but he knew it was futile, and just as before, she weakened quickly letting him hold her and kiss her.

Then, she did something that surprised Draco, as well as herself. He was shocked that she suddenly clung to him like air for someone who had none, and his kiss was the only way to get that air. She was demanding in her return kiss telling him she wanted more. Her body pushed into him hard. She clung to his shirt and leaned her head back as he lightly kissed her neck and just under her ear. He reached up and bit her earlobe, to which he was rewarded with a soft moan from her throat. It was sizzling to his body when he heard that little noise from her and it was all he could take! He backed her up to the soft couch in front of the fire and flopped her down on it roughly, placing himself on top of her, holding her as close as he could. He kissed her hard and filled them with all the passion he possessed. Unlike the first time, his hands had now gained access to her entire body, and it seemed she would not stop him since she was touching him all over as well. She would not stop him this time because she was indeed enjoying it too much! He ran his hands down her front over her clothes and passed over her breast. Again she moaned and she arched her back in pleasure.

Sabine's mind was clouded over like a thick layer of fog had covered her thoughts. All she knew was this felt good and she needed it! The pressure of him on top of her was stimulating her every senses and she began to feel her longing for him at her center. Her hands slid under his shirt and over his hard back muscles. She loved the feeling of his hot skin against her palms and moved to touch his arms and then back down the front to his stomach muscles. His breath shuddered as she got close to his waistband on his pants and she dipped a finger into his pants and ran it along the top elastic of his boxers under his waistband, teasingly against his stomach. That answers the boxers or briefs question! She smiled as she thought this. She was teasing him and it felt good! He would not have her that easy without a little fun on her end!

Slowly he lifted her shirt from where it was tucked in and slid his hand underneath. He was kissing her neck lightly, flicking his tongue against her skin in the most delightful way, but when he reached under her bra to touch her bare breast, a gasp of pleasure escaped from her lips and he covered her mouth with his own.

He lingered there only for a few minutes, circling over her skin that was beginning to harden and peak, but withdrew his hand from under her shirt and let it slide over the top of her clothing down till it reached the hem of her skirt. He traced the hem following her leg and when it reached where her legs met together, he traveled upwards.

Sabine was swirling, the flood of hormones was rushing to her head and her heartbeat was going so fast she thought her heart would jump out of her chest! The yearning at her center was growing stronger and as he neared, she could hardly stand the craving that wanted him to reach his goal. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head and another little moan escaped from her parted lips since he was busy nibbling on her ear. She could feel his hardness against her and it only made her want him more!

He was getting closer and closer. He looked into her face as he traced the small elastic hem of the leg hole of her panties. Silk panties. He watched her eyes roll into the back of her head with pleasure. I'll bet they are black, too! This small thought made him want to giggle a little, like a kid in a candy store. He kissed her again, only soft this time. He slid a finger just under the cloth and she parted her legs just a little. He smiled at the invitation. She is mine!

"Tell me you want me," he whispered in her ear, as he continued to run his finger against her skin under her panties, teasing her with the pleasure that he could offer her.

"I want you!" she whispered her reply back, gasping as his hands had found another tender area that shot pleasure through her.

"How badly do you want me?" he purred and kissed her neck slightly touching it with his tongue.

She could not answer this time. The words would not come. She moaned again, this time more throaty, almost like a purr deep in her throat. It drove Draco crazy!

"I want you SOOO bad," he heard the cold, mocking reply, but his head shot up immediately and his eyes locked with a pair of dark chocolate ones. Sabine froze under him and instantly was filled with dread. Her heart stopped in its tracks as her blood slowed at once and she regained her senses.

There stood Pansy, Julia and Mariah. They had just entered the common room and were quickly followed by Crabbe and Goyle. Sabine pushed Draco off of her and stood up, straightening her skirt. She cursed herself for not being stronger to Draco's charms, but even more for not having the common sense to go somewhere private where they would not be disturbed!

Pansy laughed, "Please don't let us stop you fun! Only, do you mind if we pop some popcorn? I do love a good snack when I am watching something this good!" The sneer on her face was more than Sabine could take.

"Yes, Pansy, we are all aware of how you love a good snack!" Sabine patted her own tummy tauntingly. "You really ought to be more mindful of your figure!" With that, Sabine turned and walked to her dormitory, not even taking a second glance at Draco, who was looking both rather pleased with himself and disheveled.

Julia and Mariah followed Sabine to the dormitory, but Pansy stayed to mock Draco.

"Is that a rabbit in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? Really Draco, you could do so much better!" She purred, trying her hardest to look like candy to a starving child.

"You are just jealous that no one in their right mind would touch you with a ten foot pole! Tell me Pansy, just how many diseases DO you carry these days anyway?" he asked, but left the room before she had thought of anything cleaver to say.

Draco cursed under his breath. His little encounter had done nothing, but make him want Sabine even more! Worst of all, now he knew she would double defenses against his advances. He had gotten so close! He had her begging for it and Sabine NEVER begs! His blood was still hot with desire as he walked to the boys' bathroom. Once again, he thought, I end up with a cold shower!

Sabine quickly dressed for bed. Julia and Mariah watched her with little grins plastered to their faces that both mocked her and joined her in her humiliating display of raging teenage hormones.

"So..." Julia asked in a hushed, but urgent tone.

"What?" Trying to look as unscathed and as irritable as possible, Sabine replied.

"What do you mean, what?" Mariah joined in.

"You were only kissing the most desirable Slytherin in the seventh year! Not to mention whatever else we could not see from behind the couch! We need details!" Julia again blathered.

"Well, here are a few details I can share with you..." Sabine started nice enough, "What I do with Draco is MY business, not yours! When I WANT to tell you something that has happened between us, I will tell you! My life is MY business, just as your life is YOUR business. Are we quite clear?" she finished curtly.

Both girls were taken aback by her rude manners as neither of them had seen this truly mean streak that she possessed. Seeing their thoughts float through their heads, almost as if their heads were transparent, she quickly made up her mind.

"Oh, yes. One more detail you might be interested in," she shyly smiled, "he is a fabulous kisser!"

Then she giggled. The two girls' faces quickly changed from shock to giddy delight and Sabine knew her first remarks would be forgotten quickly.

"Goodnight!" Sabine closed the curtains quickly around her bed, before her two vapid companions could further question her and upon hearing their grumbled replies of goodnight, she lay awake for hours contemplating the pros and cons of what had just happened. Somehow the pros mounted quicker than she could come up with cons.
