Author's Note:
Got to love Ginny & Draco

It had been a week since I had confessed my father's actions to Professor Dumbledore. We had arranged for my father to be taken by surprise at a prearranged date, today. It was all part of our plan.

First, we realized if all the sudden, when I was out, my father was taken, it would be too simple for even a small child to figure out it was I who betrayed them. Since I have no intention of leaving Ginny to raise our child alone, I required an alternate plan. Thus the delay. I arranged to be out on quote "Certified Death-Eater Business" with a few of my father's mindless pawns. Upon returning home, I would generally pretend to weep and be furious; when in reality, I wouldn't give a damn about that monster going away to Azkaban.

After that, as the successor of Lucius Malfoy; (a "war-orphan" if you will) I would gain more access to the Dark Force's inner workings, since I had "already lost too much" to switch sides now. Put simply; I'm going to be a double agent. A regular 007. The real trick's going to be my Mother. Lucius never really included her in his little dark escapades, so I couldn't tell Dumbledore anything of use. How the hell am I going to pull off raising my son or daughter with Ginny with out at least getting her a wee bit aware I wasn't standing by my father's side?

Anyway, I'm coming home with Avery and the rest of the Dark Idiots right now. Father should be gone. I hope he stays that way.

My mother runs up to me. "Draco, they took Lucius! What shall we do? What can we tell Lord Voldemort? Will he be next?" I stand still, cold and unemotional; just like my father. I had prepared for this. This was the true brilliance of my plan. I would spy for Dumbledore, but tell the Death-Eaters that I was spying against Dumbledore, while in reality; I was leading Thomas Marvolo Riddle to his final defeat. I told my mother I would spy on Dumbledore to pay him back for what happened to Lucius. She suddenly stiffened up when I told her I was going to visit Ginny Weasley. She didn't know about us yet.

I said it was all part of my plan. She believed me.

~*~An Hour Later~*~

I Apparatated to Ginny's bedroom. We kissed and I told her that we should stop lying to her brothers and parents. It was wrong, they had a right to know about us and who's side I was truly on. She agreed. "I love you, and if they can't take it, too bad, but they should know either way, that I'm happy."

We walked down the wooden staircase and into the dining room, where her entire family was eating. You could have heard a pin drop. Fred and George actually snorted into their pudding. Percy had frozen. Bill had an overall look of shock of absolute shock on his face. Charlie had actually grinned in the amusement of the absurdity. Ron was as red as the tomatoes on his plate. Mrs. Weasley fainted. Mr. Weasley looked as if he could kill me.

I went over to speak, but Ron moved quicker. He caught me in the jaw. "Get the hell away from my sister!" he shouted. I ducked. He swung... and Ginny caught his fist. "Get the hell away from my boyfriend!"

I stood in front of the remaining Weasleys and started to speak. "I owe you an explanation, and I will explain. But first things first. Ginny is my better half, my stars in the sky, my moonlight shining down from above, the angels in heaven, and the heart beating in my chest." I paused. "Ginny, will you marry me?"

Without a moment's hesitation, she said yes. My heart swelled to three times its normal size and, at least, for me, the world stopped. All I saw was Ginny and all she saw was me. And I heard her thoughts. But, somehow, it wasn't just her I heard. I heard children laughing and babies crying in the night. I heard bedtime stories and report card lectures. And I heard the hat. "...Many kinds of ambition..."

~*~*~*~

I told Mr. and Mrs. Weasley my entire plan, from betraying my father, to lying to my mother, to how I was going to spy on T. M. Riddle himself. Mrs. Weasley cried. Mr. Weasley shook my hand. "I'm going to be proud to be your father-in-law." Charlie, Bill, Percy, and the twins nodded in agreement. Ron stood silently.

I walked up to him and held out my hand. "I am sorry for all I have done in the past, but I will not leave Ginny. I know I don't deserve her, and that she deserves more than me, but no man can be good enough to possibly deserve your sister. And I love her. It's not right for me to even think about leaving her. It would be turning down the greatest gift God himself has ever given me." Ron grasped my hand. "Congratulations, brother-in-law." I wasn't finished. "Ginny may be the greatest gift I've ever received; but one comes close." I held Ginny tightly, but gently, as I didn't want to harm our unborn son or daughter. "The gift of family. I never had a real one of my own with people who loved me, but now I do. And I am about to start one of my own. Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, my soon to be brothers-in-law; the love of my life is pregnant." A loud applause filled the room, and I knew I was at home.
