Interview with a Wizard

Noelle (Reporter)- Hello, this is Noelle Eyre here with the famous Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Weasley. Author J. K. Rowling has been recording their school year in the critically acclaimed Harry Potter series. I’d like to welcome our guests Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Weasley to the show.

Harry- We’re glad we could make it to your show.

Noelle- I’d like to start with a question for Hermione. I’ve noticed a name change. When did this happen?

Hermione- Well Ron and I got married right after graduating Hogwarts.

Noelle- How was the wedding?

Ron- Well it was small.

Harry- Really, Really small!

Hermione- We basically didn’t go home after graduation. We eloped and are only witnesses were Harry and Ginny. Harry was Ron’s best man and Ginny was my maid of honor.

Noelle- How did your families react?

Ron- My mom was so happy, but she was very worried because we didn’t come home after school ended. She only wished that she could have been at the wedding and my dad was thrilled to have muggle in-laws.

Hermione- My parents wished they could have been at the wedding too and they were also worried when I didn’t appear at the train station, but unlike Ron I sent my parents a letter telling them I was okay.

Noelle- So Harry, how is your love life?

Harry- Well, unlike Ron and Hermione, I’m not married, but I am planning to marry Ginny.

Ron- Since when have you been planning to marry MY LITTLE SISTER?!!?

Harry- Calm down. I haven’t asked her yet. I’ve asked you dad for his permission and now I want to ask for your permission to marry Ginny. Ron, can I marry your sister, Ginny?

Ron- . . . Harry, of course you can marry Ginny. I can’t think of a better person to have as a brother in-law!

Harry- Ron, really, you mean it? You give me permission to marry Ginny? Oh . . . I have to find her. She is in the studio. I have to go and ask her. (Harry gets up and goes off to look for Ginny.)

Noelle- Well I’m being told to continue the interview. Okay . . . Is it true that you have been sworn to secrecy on anything pertaining directly to the books.

Hermione- (A look of shock on her face.) Of course we were. They don’t want us telling everyone about are school days. It would give away the ending.

Ron- Right . . . (He seems to be looking for any signs of either Harry or Ginny.)

Noelle- Have you read the books?

Hermione- Of course, we’ve read the books. The books are about us.

Ron- . . . (Still looking)

Noelle- Do you think the books keep true to your lives?

Hermione- (Now seems to have joined Ron search effort.) ...Yeah the books stay true to are lives during our school years.

Ron- . . . (He is still looking for Harry and his sister.)

Hermione- (She points at Harry and Ginny.) There are Harry and Ginny. (Harry is walking toward us dragging Ginny behind him.)

Ginny- Harry, why did you bring me here? You know I’m camera shy. (The famous Weasley blush appears on Ginny’s face.)

Harry- I just wanted the whole world to see . . . Ginny, I love you. (Harry gets on one knee.) Will you marry me?

Ginny- (Look like she is about to burst into tears.) Yes. (She jumps into Harry’s arms and kisses him.)

Harry- (He pulls out a ring and places it on Ginny’s finger.)

Ron- (Seems to be in shock even though he knew it was coming.)

Hermione- (She tries to get Ron out of his state of shock.)

Noelle- Good-Bye World. Tune in next week when we have a shocking interview with the Half Blood Prince.
