Natural Development

Millicent stared at the bathroom wall in horror. Yes, it really did say that. Millicent Bulstrode has big tits. It was right up there with GW Hearts HP and DM & PP 4Ever!. It was only a matter of time, Millicent thought, before she saw Milly is a slut XOXO. She shuddered to think of the boys' bathroom.

This was all completely unfair. When she had been sorted into Slytherin, Millicent had planned an exciting and dramatic career as a journalist. Or possibly a spy. Yes, a spy. She would have been one of those women in slinky outfits, carrying a cigarette in a special cigarette holder, whispering, "You are the famous Lord Voldemort? Fascinating." But first had come the chub, and now the breasts. Millicent knew nobody would ever refer to her as boyish and sophisticated now.

This raised a new question: what was she doing as a Slytherin? Even the foreign service was closed to her . . . What did chubby women with big boobs do? Become cooks? Nurses? Write recipe columns for the better class of glossy magazine?

A clicking sound filled the room. Tap, tap, tap . . . That had to be Parvati Patil. Only she could wear high heels under her robe without winning lifelong detention. This was, of course, because Parvati was the most beautiful girl in her year. People didn't say she had big tits. They gasped, "Parvati! Long black hair! Midnight eyes! Breasts?" and then there was a loud thumping sound as they hit the floor.

It was an appropriate response, of course. Millicent wished she was one of Parvati's friends, so she could giggle and preen and offer to braid her hair. She could just see Parvati with thousands of tiny shining braids, each with a bell at the end. Parvati would chime as she walked. There would be chords. Even symphonies.

"What are you doing your Charms project on? Rogum Amoris?" somebody giggled. Millicent should have known that Parvati never went to the bathroom alone. She had a train of followers.

"Amoris? I don't need a love charm!" said Parvati. Millicent could hear her interrogator wilting. "Or one for my looks, either. I'm doing Careers."

Millicent had to leave. The next step in the conversation, she knew, would be, "I know who needs a Love charm and a Looks charm. That slut Milly." She flushed the toilet and pulled hopelessly at the top of her robes.

Outside the stall, Parvati was leaning toward the mirror, applying lipstick. Millicent stared at Parvati's reflection, ignoring the giggling girls around her. Parvati's lipstick was a gentle rose, just a few shades darker than her soft lips were naturally. So gorgeous. So kissable.

So unfair. Why did a Gryffindor need to be pretty? So pretty that even Millicent, confident Slytherin--

--had to stop staring at her lips and flee the bathroom.

Millicent rushed into the hall, colliding with Lucas Stebbins. Tall, blond, Hufflepuff Beater. Dumb as a post. "Oh, hi, uh, Millicent," he said. "I didn't see you. Listen, would you like to, er, come study with me?"

"Huh?" Millicent was still discomposed from the Parvati episode. Or lack of episode.

"We could, you know, go for a walk or something. You're looking really good today with your, uh, hair down like that."

He was staring straight at her breasts. Millicent did not submit to harassment from Hufflepuff pigs. "No, thank you," she said. "I have important business to attend to!"

Millicent swept away, leaving Lucas staring behind her. Maybe she wasn't sophisticated, but at least she was tough. She was powerful and confident, protecting the rights of women. Eventually even fluffheads like Parvati might notice.

Millicent had a new career plan. No more of these pigs and pretty girls. She would become a leader. A no-nonsense feminist politician. The Ministry wouldn't know what had hit it.
