"Where have you been?" Ginny asked Harry as he walked into the nearly empty Gryffindor Common Room at midnight.
"Er, I went for a, er, walk," Harry lied awkwardly.
"Don't lie to me, Harry," Ginny said, noticing that he was indeed lying to her.
"Alright, I was helping Cho practise for Quidditch," Harry said.
Harry and Ginny had been going out for three months now and Cho was Harry's ex-girlfriend. Harry knew that Ginny wouldn't like the idea of him helping Cho practise for Quidditch.
"You were helping Cho practise for Quidditch?" Ginny asked. Harry nodded.
"I have been a lot lately," Harry said. Ginny's eyes widened angrily.
"And you never told me?!" she cried.
"No, because I knew you wouldn't like it," Harry said cautiously.
"But you still could've told me!" Ginny said loudly.
"I know I should've, but..." he trailed off.
"Are you trying to tell me something, Harry?" Ginny asked.
"Er, no," Harry replied uncomfortably.
"Yes you are," Ginny said. "Spit it out!"
"We, er, we have to break up, Gin," Harry said. "I'm still in love with Cho. I'm really sorry, Ginny. I love you too, but it's just...I love Cho more."
Tears were starting to leak out of Ginny's eyes as she sat there listening to him. "You bastard!" she yelled, getting up and running up to her dormitory, where she lay on her bed, crying into her pillow for what seemed like hours, until she heard the creak of the door opening and Hermione entered.
"Harry told Ron and Ron told me, Gin," she said walking over and sitting at the edge of the bed, putting a soothing arm around Ginny's shoulders.
"I-I-I can't believe he still l-loves her," Ginny sobbed.
"Nor do I, Gin, but hey, he'll come running back, don't you worry," Hermione said. Ginny smiled slightly.
"Are you sure?" Ginny asked, wiping her eyes.
"I think he will, so hopefully I'm right," Hermione replied. "Give him time and he'll realise you're the one he truly loves."
"I still can't believe he still loves her," Ginny said, her eyes filling with tears again.
"Oh Ginny," Hermione said, hugging her. "If it makes you feel better, Ron gave him a broken nose and he's in the hospital wing right now because of it."
"Ron did what?"
"Ron gave him a broken nose when he found out," Hermione repeated. "Look Gin, you'll win him back, I know you will. Don't worry."
"Yeah, I guess," Ginny sighed, wiping her eyes again. "And hopefully that broken nose helps him realise it. Thanks Herm."
"My pleasure, Ginny," Hermione said. A new subject sprung to her mind. "Do you reckon Malfoy's hot?"
"Draco Malfoy? Definitely. The hair, the eyes, the body, all steaming hot," Ginny answered with a slight giggle. "But Harry's hot to."
"Don't worry, Gin, he'll come back," Hermione said, before contuing with a girly talk about hot guys.

A/N. Quite a boring fic, we know, but hopefully you enjoyed it anyway! Review please!
Hermione's kinda out of character, we know and we had to add the 'Draco being hot' part, we just couldn't stop ourselves. Don't worry, there is another sequel to come and Harry and Ginny will get back together along with a little surprise!
Thanks to all our reviews of the predecessor of this fic, Feel the Same Way and thanks to our beta-reader Kay Elle Hunter!
Cheers,
